Brake light switch melts when cruise control and brakes are engaged.
Emergency brake housing (propshaft brake drum assembly) which surrounds the drive shaft at the rear of the transmission exerted a lot of torque pressure to the transmission adapter causing bolts to fall off and adapter to snap off allowing the rear seal to fail and loose transmission fluid thus ruining the transmission, design flaw of the emergency brake housing seems to be the cause of transmission failure.
Vehicle was involved in a manufacturingrecall 94i-069, involving the parking brake. Consumer took vehicle to dealers were they fixed problem,but problem returned.
Transmission will downshift from 3rd to 2nd when vehicle is driven 45 mph or less.
My rv lost brakes and power steering because of a brake actuator failure. I took it to the rv in for repair and i was told there was no replacement part. They told me, the only way they could get to the brakes and power steering, was to by-pass the brake actuator. Once they did that, the park feature no longer worked. I believe this may be a safety problem and chevrolet corporation should be responsible for correcting it. ...updated 10/22/14

Engine warning light illuminated.
Cruise control setting sticks.
When climbing up a hill and then going down a hill at 10 mph, consumer took his foot off the gas pedal, and engine died out. Also there was no power steering.dealer can't determine the caus e of theproblem.
