Rv accelerated to top speed and hit another rv and went thru a wooden fence and came to a stop against a tree.air bag did not deploy.

Due to the severity of the lean on this motorhome it is not an easy vehicle to drive.it easily can be unmanagable.the stress on the tires on the right side even when filled with the proper amount of air pressure causes the duallies to almost touch eachother (1/4 inch and they would). We took the unit to the dealership where they kept the unit for 10 days then told us it only needed air in the right side tires.they obviously new it was more than that because they sent pictures and measurements to the manufacturer, the dealership didnt tell us they sent those things the manufacturer did.we called the dealer up and asked that they send someone to pick up the motorhome and return it to the dealership, they did and the manufacturer picked it up from there and took it to their plant in chico.they have had it for nearly a month and called and told us a couple of days ago that the unit is unrepairable. They said it was not just the chasis that was off center but the motorhome box as well and it could not be repaired, not even with the new standard shims that ford has come up with for their quick fix of the off centered chasis on alot of 1999 and 2000 models. I dont really know how much of a safety hazard this is but i sure as heck dont feel safe driving something this lop sided with so much weight. My husband went to the dealership kinda on the sly and measured the other2000 class c motorhomes and most of them were between 3/4 and 1 inch off center, ours was a full 2 inches and thats just the box, add the chasis being off centered as well, its quite a cyclops.on level ground we had to put 4 inch blocks of wood under the right tires both front and back to level it.we will not be driving that motorhome again knowing what we know but what about others that dont notice the lean on their motorhome right away or at all.like i said before thats alot of weight to have going down the road not distributed properly and attached to a steering wheel.ak
