Inside dual on motorhome blow-out with no warning.had driven from phoenix to indiana and was returning home. Occured just south of hannibal,mo on smooth four lane road, temperature approx 85 degrees, with no significant change in load.air pressure was checked in a:m prior to leaving sprinfield, il. Insurance adjuster for progressive insurance met me in hannibal to survey damage;he has photos of tire. Damage was limited to severed/crimped tailpipe and structural damage to storage compartment.firestone dealer in hannibal would not adjust the tire and sent me to quincy,il dealer. This dealer would not adjust tire either.insurance adjuster made statement to me that damage to tire was consistant with what he had seen on tires being recalled by firestone. I felt it important to report this to nhtsa after reading september 29,2000 news release from firestone. (tiresize: lt22575r16)( dot number: tire size: lt22575r16 )
