1991 fleetwood flair motorhome roof air conditioner kept tripping the circuit breaker on a recent trip. The breaker was very hot. I opened the panel and found a loose line connection to the circuit breaker but noticed that all 110 volt wiring in my motorhome is solid conductor, not stranded. Even the dumbest electrical engineer knows never to use solid conductor wiring in a vibration environment such as cars, boats, airplanes and motorhomes. Since the motorhome is nearly 20 years old i am fearful of fire in the 110 volt wiring due to fatigue of the solid conductors. The loose circuit breaker connection may be just the beginning of a serious fire potential..
While driving on dirt mountainous road, electrical short in underhood wiring harness caused an electrical fire, loss all vehicle power.
Motor design too small resulting in excessive overheating, melting and exhaust leaks, damage to other components due to design flaw.
