While driving my fleetwood motorhome, i noticed an electrical odor. I looked toward the back of the coach and the rear bedroom was full of smoke. When i finally got the coach to a service center, it was determined that the exhaust system had a hole in it near the engine. The coach only had 32000 miles. The heat from the engine through the exhaust heated the electrical control box that is immediately adjacent to the engine, the coating on the wiring melted and that resulted in an electrical fire. I feel that there is a major design flaw that could result in bodily injury or death.
In the middle of the night in one place that i didn't have any light just the cars passing i had to stop because the engine failsafe mode was on. I stop to read the manual for to know what i have to do? after 20 min without leaving the car because i was alone i start driving again so slow to my house.

Leading up to the failure unknown.all the double pane windows have separated allowing moisture to form , causing a cloudy look and difficult to see the outside.this distortion is a safety issue andhazardous, especially trying to see out the drivers side window .contacted the manufacture and was told they would not replace the windows.
The contact owns a 2005 fleetwood expedition diesel rv. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact noticed that the seals on the three windows on the driver side had failed causing air to seep into the vehicle through the windows. The contact stated that all the windows in the vehicle had the same failure except for the windshield. This also caused the window panes to become foggy and turn blue, making visibility difficult for the contact. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The company was taken over by new owners who advised that they would not be able to assist the contact with any repairs. The failure mileage was 28,000 and the current mileage was 31,000.

Driver's side window fogged up because seal to thermal pane failed causing reduced vision to left side mirror on the coach.this creates a safety hazard because one is unable to see traffic out left mirror especially when sun is shining just right that creates a glare in the mirror.
We have called fleetwood in decatur in many times that the motor home windows in our 2005 fleetwood expedition are foggy. They just keep getting worse and now all 10 windows are foggy. They said they are not covered under our warranty. They will not help us. We are retired and on limited income. We do not know where to turn.

Our drivers side window is so fogged that it is extremely dangerous for us to drive it .others have the fog as well, i am just disgusted with the fact it is now so dangerous.i understand from other websites this has been a common problem with these windows.i do not understand with the price of these rv's how fleetwood would continue to use such defective windows and actually think the public will return to purchase another fleetwood product.
Dual pane window seals rupture and dual pane windows become foggy and stained making visibilty terrible and unsafe. Especially can't see your mirrors. According to forums it appears to be a very common problem among fleetwood products.
