Motor home had multiple safety related issues throughout 2005. -fire in awning motor inside motorhome-warped slide which could not be retracted and protruded from vehicle-constant frozen water components-leaks in ceiling which cause the roof integrity to be compromised causing an unsafe situation with multiple water incursions-no climate control for 5 months-constant electrical issues including rear light failure caused by wires melting on exhaust system-interior cabinets/shelves breaking loose while vehicle was in motion.

Improper installation of slide out seals on fleetwood excursion motor home. Warranty has since expired, but manufacturer refuses to pay for repair. Stated that it was my fault for not inspecting mounting screws, even though they cannot be seen from a normal viewpoint. Also claims it was neglect of care, yet i treat and lube slideout seals 3-4 times yearly. Improper installation has resulted in leaks/water damage to interior. Would like manufacturer to pay for seals and labor for replacing seals, i will pay for water damage repair.

Rv gas/electric refrigerator began leaking coolant gas (ammonia) into coach making occupants very ill and light headed. Gas seemed to almost ignite before area was opened to the access panel of cooling unit and vented. Coolant gas was open to lp gas heating element flame for possible uncontrolled ignition leading to possible fire to coach. Area extremely hot which suspects a small fire occurred. Refrigerator cooling unit had to be completely replaced.

The slider on a four slider motorhome will not come in many times. I drive alone, and my safety is at risk if i can't pull in the sliders and leave. Three to four people have to lift and push and jerk in the slider. I can not use this rv because of fear and the slider does not fully close. Four or 5 times to dealer, their statement, they have no clue. Also in aaa motorhome magazine this is a major problem, fleetwood is hiding from the public. I was stuck in mexico and montana away from all mechanical help, except those who we could gather up. Their offer to me fleetwood )) was to buy a new rv for $ 220000. The service writer,i overheard, this problem is un-solvable and told me it was not safe for me, he obviously didn't want me to tell anyone this.

I have a 2005 fleetwood excursion 39b and several windows, including the driver side, are fogging up.in fact, the driver side is so bad that i can barely see the left side mirror.this makes it extremely difficult and hazardous trying to pass or change to the left lane.

My 2005 fleetwood excursion has dual insulated glass that has fogged up. I have replaced one of the windows because it was dangerous to drive. It was the window that i look through to see my rear view mirror. The manufacturer won't replace it because it is no longer under warranty.

Most of the rv windows have fogged over andcan't be cleaned as the fog/haze is inside the windows. The winshield is the only glass that is clearthe driver side window is extremely fogged and interfers with viewing the outside rearview mirror. This condition can cause a very bad accident as youcan't clearly see moving traffic on the drivers side.with the size of this vehicle, a serious accident couldhappen. Your attention is distracted as you try to seeif you have moving traffic on the drivers side and while tryingmto see that side you end up taking yourattention away from the winshield. This is a badsituation while driving on both highways, streets andavenues. This condition seems to be the norm forthis year vehicle as i have meet other rv owners withthe same window conditions.
