The contact owns a 2017 fleetwood discovery 37r rv. While driving approximately 20 mph down hill, the generator located in front of the rv compartment door opened. The clasp loosened, which allowed the generator to slide out. The contact had to pull the vehicle over to the side of the road and, with the help of other drivers, pushed the generator back inside the compartment. The rv was taken to the dealer (flagg rv in uxbridge, ma) and the rv had been there ever since awaiting parts. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000.
