Driver information center displays various warning messages, low brake air pressure and similar messages during vehicle operation. Mounting location of the unit makes it impossible to read the display from the drivers location.attempting to see the warning message diverts attention from the road and is hazardous and could lead to an accident.full time light of the display has been done but has not improved the situation.manufacturer has said they have no further solutions.remounting of the display should be done do that it is readily visible from the driver's location.information center is provided by freightliner but mounted in the dash by fleetwood.

I have a 2004 fleetwood discovery motorhome that has se-gi windows. These window seals are broken and they are fogging up very badly. All of the windows are impossible to see out of when the sun is directly on them. The drivers side window is so bad it is difficult to see my mirror. When the sun is directly on it i can't even see my mirror. This in turn makes it very unsafe when changing lanes and backing up.since this is such a grave safety issue something must be done so i can safely drive my motor home. Numerous rv owners have had the very same problem with these windows, so i would think that an investigation and a recall would be required. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The 2004 fleetwood discovery has faulty windows that could potentially cause danger to drivers, passengers, and other drivers due to lack of visibility. I am an owner and would like fleetwood to rectify this problem immediately before it is too late!

7 different windows are fogging up due to failed seals in the dual glazed windows.

The contact owns a 2004 fleetwood discovery.the contact stated that the thurmopainted glass on the windows were full of spots.he notified the dealer and they stated that the spots were filled with gas and were leaking, which caused the windows to become very foggy.the dealer advised him to notify the manufacturer of the windows to have them replaced.the manufacturer stated that since the vehicle was out of warranty, the contact would be responsible for the replacement.the vehicle has not been repaired.the current mileage was 20,000 and failure mileage was 17,000.

Fleetwood installed faulty dual pane windows in several years of rv's that get foggy between the sealed panes of glass. These windows are used throughout the motorhome including the drivers side window. The drivers view to the outside rearview mirror in obstructed and creates a dangerous situation because the view is distorted. The state of missouri requires an annual safety inspection and this rv will no longer pass this inspection because of the obscured view to the outside from the drivers seat. I have attempted to have this problem fixed under warranty but fleetwood refuses because the problem is over 3 years old, i contend the problem started well within the warranty period and has gotten worse. I also contend there are many rv's with this problem on the road some of which fleetwood has repaired under warranty and some they have not regardless of the timing of the repair in relationship to the warranty period. I also contend that auto glass should not distort the view for safety reasons "ever", safety glass is regulated by this agency as far as i know and i believe this is a defective product that will cause an accident because the drivers view is obscured. I am dating this complaint today but the problem started about 18 months ago and has gotten worse. I have ran a basic survey of fleetwood owners and found many others with the same problem. I spoke to the manufacturer of these windows se-gi in august '07 about this and they confirmed they had a manufacturing problem "a few years ago with the dual pane windows, but it was resolved now" i continue to find other owners with these vehicles and windows that are having problems. I feel there should be an investigation and upon the same findings as i have a recall should be enforced. This is a dangerous problem and fleetwood is not taking responsibility for it.

Shortly after purchasing our discovery, i noticed the windows were starting to look foggy. I assumed it was a maintenance problem as we have very hard water in our area. Additionally, the local fleetwood dealer was not attending to our warranty issues, let alone the windows. After the warranty repairs were completed (6 years into our ownership), and the dealer closing business, we attended a good sam ralley where we sought assistance determining the cause and replacement process, a very expensive defect in the window seals. We elected not to spend over $ 12,000 for replacements, especially because we would have had to travel over 1000 miles and spend 3 weeks accomplishing the repairs. The driver's window has now deteriorated to cause a visibility issue due to the fog. The windows are not covered by any warranty or extended service contract. This condition seems to be common and discussed regularly on rv forums. The manufacturer should provide assistance in the repair or replacement if those affected windows.

Dual pain windows are permanently fogged between pains, creating a visibility issue.

The contact owns a 2004 fleetwood discovery. While driving unknown speeds, the driver side window was distorted and stained. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that there was no funding to replace the window. No further assistance was provided. The vin was unknown. The failure mileage was 54,800.
