Consumer stated after the motorhome was purchased, she noticed black tape all over the top of one of the batteries, 4 months later while driving, consumer lost all electrical power and discovered a hole burnt into the same battery that was taped up, the battery was replaced, however dealer was unable to determine what caused the problem, several months later the vehicle again lost all electrical power, the rv was taken back to the dealer and this time consumer was infomred the batteries had not been grounded properly and this caused them to over heat, the grounding screw was replaced with a larger one to get a better ground, several months later all power was lost again, and the one battery was totally dead and could not be charged, and the dealer stated there was some corrosion between the inverter and the batteries.
Consumer purchased the motorhome with the cummins 1sb300 engine, however the engine has experienced problems, the new units were installed with faulty oil pressure sensors which has to be replaced, then the fuel line broke leaking fuel due to a defect which was known by the manufacturer. Consumer has information relating to 1sb drainline replacement. *mjs
Cummins 5.9 isb lift pump failure at 40,000 miles caused engine to over heat and stall.a vehicle crash could have occurred.similar to nhtsa #05e054000.
Dt: contact states while driving the front passenger door whistles, water leaks in, the door came opened.the door has been replaced once.
When driving down the highway, the door inadvertenly opens, consumer states the dead bolts have been known to fail, the motorhome has been to the dealer twice, the first time they replaced the door with another bad door, the second time they adjusted the lock which did not help either, and is scheduled to go back for a 3rd time.
Body mount separated fromframe.manufacturer has been notified. Please provide additional information.
Left rear outside blew out. Supposdly caused by a "screw" approx 1 1/4 inch. Tore cabling apart without cuasing a leak. Posssible but not probable. A tire so large to cuase to blow outby something so small.(dot number: b6bj bvjxtiresize: 735/80/225)
While driving, the vehicle suffered a blow out on one of the tires.the blowout caused a 9 inch tear in the sidewall.michelin has not responded to consuemrs request for a prorated adjustment of the replacement.the tire is a michelin xrl 235/80r 22.5*jg*dt
Lower attachment appliances and cabinets are separating fromwall.dealer notified, and put on nail adhesive for repairs. Asking for nhtsa help in this matter. Please provide us with any further details on this matter.
