Good day nhtsa,i believe ferrari of italy has messed up again on their vin# and title naming conventions.i just started deportation my 2007 ferrari f430 back to europe, seems the ?american? specification car they titled and sold me in oct 2013 is actually a ?latin american? specification car.i just retired after 23 years from the u.s. Army, i have multiple combat tours and i just got ripped off for $167,000. By an authorized ferrari dealership in germany (my last duty station where the purchase was made, this was my retirement gift).in feb 2014, when the car arrived at the u.s. Dot standards, it can?t stay in the usa.now the dealer is stonewalling me and will not talk to me about taking the car back and paying the associated fines and penalties.the dealership will not take calls/e-mail/or visits from american soldiers i have sent there. Dot actions against ferrari, i see that this has happened before. Maybe one phone call from your office to ferrari hq in italy to ask them to take back the car and make this right is all i need to solve the problem.losing $167,000., having it stolen by a shady dealership is very bad.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

This only happens in the summertime when temperature melts the top layer of the film or plastics of the bottons. This is a well known and docomentedissue among ferrari online chats. This happens anytime the outside temp is over 90 degrees. When drivingmore than half of all buttons including hazard how can i setting and turn signals do not work
The exhaust manifold has cracked, ferrari is aware of the problem. The defect that can cause cat induction, then engine failure (and should not be driven). Ferrari is not willing to replace the manifolds.the manifolds were not fit for service and fail the implied warranty of merchantability.ferrari should replace or recall all 430 cars that have not been changed to second generation manifolds regardless of warranty status.2005 to 2009anything that could result in engine failure or render the car inoperable during operation, and is aknown defects, should be fixed by ferrari.
