A vehicle pulled right in front of the consumer's vehicle, neither airbags experienced deployment even though it was a front end collision at about 35mph, the vehicle was a total loss and no injuries occurred because of the accident.

Vehicle was parked, radio on, another vehicle hit eagle head on, air bags on driver's and passenger's side did not deploy. Conumer's vehicle was knocked at least 10 feet and was parked at the time of incident, causing left side of face of driver side to sit steering wheel and the passenger head to hit front windshield causing it to break.

Manufacturer does not have a on/off switch for air bag. Concern about air bag on-off switch. Added on 09-07-1999.

The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 40mph and the airbag did not deploy nor did drivers seatbelt restrain the driver.

Vehicle involved in a frontal collision,impact 12:00 position, speed 45mph, dual airbags did not deploy.

Vehicle was impacted at a 6:00 position, impacted another vehicle at low speed 5mph, driver side airbag deployed.

On friday, 5/17/96 the consumer had an accident and the air bag didn't deploy, seat belt retractor didn't lock.

Violent deployment of air bag during accident causing a serious injury to the eye of the driver. Yh

Consumer was at complete stop, went to accelerate and vehicle lost all compression/acceleration and power due to defect in distributor.had topull to side to avoid accident. Dealer needs to replace part.

At 8,000 miles the valve cover gasket was replaced.two front and one rear wheel bearings went out; also,all seat belts will cut into passengers when locked inposition.please describe .

Vehicle is subject to mass oil consumption with cause unknown after several inspections by mechanics.

Wheels cannot be removed road side with equipment provided to install spare tire.special equipment is required.

Trouble with the power train

Transmission failed while driving. Consumer believed this condition is premature for 68,000 miles of wear. Dealer notified.

Transmission is slipping.

Vehicle had finished warming up, withfoot on brakeand putting vehicle in reverse, it started jumping backwards and stalled.consumer put vehicle in park, retarted it, and it took off. Aftera mile, vehicle started losingpower. Mechanic and consumer were going for a test ride, andvehicle woldn't go into any gears.

Transmission failed.

While in park position with engine running,gear jumped into reverse by itself.engine raced during and with such force that car jumped curb.

Vehicle experienced the same defect with the transfer case as stated in recall 98 v 168 003;but this vehicle was not included in recall due to vin.

Driver side seat back release lever can and has caught drivers seatbelt causing rear of drivers seat to unexpectedly recline backwards when taking off from stop light. Very dangerous and hazardous to, as driver be unexpectedly propelled backwards because seatbelt has caught under release lever on left bottom of drivers seat. Can result in accident if drivers unexpectedly is prone because seat back reclined and no line of sight of other vehicles or hazards on road can be seen, just the interior roof of vehicle suddenly is all that drivers can see.

I am sending a letter to daimler chrysler on 3/13/02. Dealer has failed to resolve an intermittent failure of the abs system, but has charged me $140 for the time spent.chrysler district manager says there is nothing they can do.i am stuck with a vehicle that cannot pass a state safety inspection but manufacturer will not take any responsibility for the problem.

When driving at low and high speeds the vehicle loses control and i momentarily loss control of the steering , thats what happenned when i had the accident and it happened 3 times after the accident.

Improper design of lift points on car can cause vehicle to slip off jack when being lifted.

Dealership would not repair/replace under any kind of warranty. Cost to me would be $500 plus. Warning light on dashboard coming on and staying on is what prompted me to take vehicle into dealer.
