On the internet, i found where my car had a recall in 1998 for the power train transmission automatic.i never received any notice of this recall.over the last two years, i have been having oil leaks.i had a head gasket replaced in late 1999.i had an oil leak again this year, in march 2001.they had to repair the oil drain plug.then in may 2001, i had to get the main seal valve fixed.late july 2001, the oil light comes on again.now apparently the oil is burning inside the engine.if this recall had been done on my car, could this have been prevented?can i get my money back for the money that i have spent, if it should have been done as part of the recall?i'm now at the point where i have to have oil changes every two months in order to maintain the car until i can afford a new one.any assistance, will be great.
Bolt that holds pulley to crank keeps falling off, causing vavles to crash and catastophic damage to engine.

I had the headlight bulbs replaced and adjusted.in darker driving conditions, the headlights seam to only light up the trees or road signs.when i change to high beams, the lights seam to be aimed ok.sometimes i feel like the lights change their heightafter i've turned the high beams off and on.

When driving the engine will high idle position, open throttle position, to stop vehicle put into nuetral or apply the brakes.consumer states while pulling into traffic, vehicle would not move the engine was racing the transmission grabbed jerking the vehicle foward squealing the rear tires, consumer states this was not the firt time this has happened.

Problems with the transmission, the car jumps gears.
Was getting vehicle up to speed when the wheels locked up. Felt like brakes were on when they were not. Could not go backwards or forward. Had heard a noise as if something snapped, after forcing vehicle forward. At a repair shop, was informed that the axle had broken & the viscus clutch was broke.
Was driving the vehicle & starting to shift into another gear. Was not able to shift into another gear without depressing the button on the stick shift. Whenever button is depressed, the vehicle would go into neutral. This can happen when shifting into reverse.
Cable in the automatic restraint retractor separated fromassembly. Restraints were repaired under recall 97 v 073 002. Replacement failed. Dealer has been notified.
Cable to the motorbelt fell out of the guide rail causing seat belt to stick. Recall on component however vehicle denied due to vin #.

The dealer removed the shoulder belt system and told the consumer that the proper part had to be ordered, several months passed and the part had not arrived, once the parts arrived the dealer informed the consumer that the motor assembly was broken and had to repaired at the owners expense ($1000) before seatbelt recall could be performed.nlm

Brake rotorswore out three times sincevehicle purchased. Vehicle taken to the dealership.
While attempting to brake, kept feeling great deal of motion in steering wheel; had alignment, mechanic discovered left front rotor rusted/cracked.
Note: same problem on talon. Braking system 60/40 because of heat appears to be top heavy and changes percentage to 90/10. Problem cables malfunctioning.
