Affected parts: axles, brakes, hub, wheel bearings (all are lippert parts).retaining clip that holds the magnetic braking coil on its' arm were not installed during manufacture on all 4 wheels.therefore, the magnetic braking coil was always rubbing against the side of the brake drums and applying the brakes.thereby creating excessive heat and boiling the grease out of all brake drum axle bearings.one brake assembly caught of fire after the bearings completely failed.we put fire out immediately in the middle of the road as there was no shoulder.after putting fire out we very slowly drug trailer to a parking lot one mile away.had to replace complete rear axle assembly, install magnetic braking coil retaining clips on front axle's brake magnets, replace bearings and seals on front axle as they fell apart on dis-assembly inspection and grease all four wheel bearings with correct grease, even the new rear axle - axle bearings received from lippert.lippert and forest river customer service tech's acted like this is a known issue that has happened to other trailers/rvs.lippert manufactures axles for many other trailer/rv manufactures.
