The contact owns a 2016 dutchmen denali 307rls camper. The contact stated that the rear end the fractured due to holes to the marker lights. The contact stated that the screws holding the lights detached, which caused the rear sub frame to fracture. As a result, the contact stated that water leaked into the vehicle, causing water damage and mold. The vehicle was taken to the next level mechanical & kustomz dealer, located at 5447 w 700 s, salt lake city, ut 84104) where the contact was informed that the vehicle would be repaired by keystone, the manufacturer, factory in oregon.the contact stated that the repair process was not resolved. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.
Faulty tires:this is my second complaint concerning tires that came with this vehicle.tires are ridgway sport xt.i was traveling north on i75, 60 mph, pavement dry.had an immediate blow out (second tire).tire was mounted on right side, rear.st225/75-r15.i believe these tires are constructed with inferior materials and should be investigated.as with the previous claim for another incident, the vehicle's tires were inflated to the recommended psi (65) before the start of the trip and there did not appear to be any debris on the road and this was a trailing tire (there are 4 tires on the vehicle).i have two more tires that i have taken off the vehicle that are not damaged should you want to have them for investigation.please contact me for any further information.[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).updated 11/24/2017
Recently i had a tire explode on the highway.this tire has less than 1000 miles on it and is just a few months over 1 year old (delivery was march of 2016).the tire is a ridgway sport stst225 75 r15 h173 load range d.i am worried that there may be tires out there that are substandard and might possibly cause major injuries and damage (human and property).my speed on the roadway was 60 mph at the time of the incident and i never went over 65 mph.i was on interstate 77 just south of rock hill, nc, in traffic.i have more pictures than allowed to upload.regards,[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).the consumer requested to be advised on whether or not to keep possession of the failed tires.
