The contact owns a 2005 dodge stratus coupe. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 15v338000 (air bags) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. Takata recall:3rd recall notice received for air bag striking passenger sun visor; 1st notice received mid-july 2015; despite multiple requests to cross chrysler in louisville, ky where vehicle is now serviced nothing has been done; per cross chrysler parts are not available; this is 2nd report made to us dept transportation regarding failure to fix recall item. This is unreasonable amount of time to fix the problem.must a passenger of mine have to be injured to get the problem fixed?
I called to check on the recall status of my car.i went online and there are numerous recalls.the dealership i called said it shows my car has been cleared of all recalls; however, i have never taken my car in to have a recall fixed.who updates this information?
