Pilson auto center in charleston, il has failedto remedy the situation.when the recall was first issued we called the dealership and they said they would put our vehicle on a list and we have yet to hear from them.when i called the dealership they said we were still on a list and that they would call us.

Takata recall. I received a recall notice from fiat chrysler automobiles (r25/nhtsa 15v-313) that was termed as an "interim notification letter" quite a few months ago stating that i would be notified when the repair parts become available. To date i have not received any further notices about the availability of parts. I had a similar experience with the last recall on my dodge ram 3500. It appears that fiat chrysler is purposefully failing to notify consumers of parts availability. I believe this warrants further investigation by the nhtsa to find out why fiat chrysler has failed to advise consumers of the availibilty of parts. I checked fiat chrysler's web site a few minutes ago and it states that parts are available so i don't know why i was not notified by them.

My 2011 mega cab 3500 was purchased in nov of 2018 with only approx. 110k miles on odometer. After a short while of driving, a vibration started getting worse up until i took to a dealer at approx. 114k for a check on toe & alignment. It ended up being a total repair of upper & lower u-joints & ball joints. Also had to replace driver's mirror-had short, wiring harness on passenger headlight-had short, transmission shifter seal leaked, new pinion gear & seal, & few other items also. It seems like a diesel that has just started breaking in was falling apart on me before it's time. Needless to say, about 4 months or so after i made the purchase, i had to fork out a !!heap!! of $$$$$ for repairs that i couldn't recover. Funny thing is, before i bought the truck, another gentleman told me these years of dodge trucks he had heard they were having a lot of front end trouble. I'm shocked there hasn't been a recall. It sure would be nice to be reimbursed.

On 11/25/19 about 3 am the horn got stuck in the on position and nothing was labeled in the fuse box or manual (book) what is the solution? my truck has only 40,012 miles, i'm totally surprised about this problem, and i was considering buying another dodge ram truck!!!! track was parked

The wipers quit working, then the blinkers and the high and low on the headlights.

I havea 2009 dodge ram 3500. I was riding down the road and all the gauges started going crazy then suddenly i smell something electrical burning by this point nothing is working im just coasting to a stop. There was no smoke from the dash that was my first instinct i then open the hood and smoke is rolling out of the fuse box. I have a friend that has the same truck but a year older and this same problem has occurred on his vehicle two different times i then done some research and found that on copart which is a salvage auction and there are a very large amount of the dodge trucks with the 6.7 liter cummins motor in them thatthe fuse box is just burnt up or in some cases has caused the entire vehicle to burn. I am just wondering why this has not been brought to attention and is my truck gonna burn down. And why will dodge not cover a problem like this when it is clearly a known problem with their products.

When using the left turn signal, both signal lights would become active on the tail lights, but only show left turn on the dash.when using the right turn, no light would work at all.turned out to be the turn signal multifunction switch, which after searching also can affect the head lights working or not, and windshield wipers.i have checked on the internet forums and have found this happening on many dodges, mostly 2006 and newer.

High beam and or low beam lights quit or go off from time to time. Dealer said its a "tipm" computer. At a cost of over $800.00 to replace or $100.00 to flash the computer to repair? can only be flashed 3 - 4 times before it has to be replaced. All the wiring and connections are good. Dealer said it was probably because of a faulty bulb and burned out the "tipm" ? i dont know, but sounds like a problem that dodge needs to address. If left unchecked / repaired it will slowly disable all the head lights high and low, plus the day time and fog lights. Not for sure when it started as i had just bought it from a individual, and only noticed it when switching from high to low beams. The truck has 130,000 miles. They say this can happen when trailer wires were incorrectly added? again this is suppose to be dodges pulling truck but with no $2.00 fuses to replace, just an $ 800.00 fix? really dodge??

Two issues: 1: knocking sound when turning at parking lot speeds. I've replaced bushings, linkages, ball joints, and nothing helped. I replaced wheel hub assemblies and the knocking is reduced, but not fixed. Shop owners that drive the same truck say they've spent thousands of dollars on their own vehicles and can't pinpoint the front end noises either. 2:vibration under the vehicle, from the transfer case, through the drive shaft, to the rear differential. Diesel shop says it's a common issue for the seals to get worn out due to imbalanced drive shaft. However, the drive shaft didn't lose any weights and was fine for the fist 90,000 miles. This is a very common issue with dodge adam 2500 and 3500, according to the shop. At first i thought it was the tires, so i had them replaced and kept going to different shops, thinking that some may be better at balancing than others. There's a definite vibration between 45-55 mph and then it's really bad at 69-75+ mph. It's been getting worse for months and after replacing worn out seal on transfer case, it still isn't proper, but somewhat better. Shop said it's temporary and partial fix until i get the driveshaft balanced, but it has to be sent off for balancing and could take 3-4 days. I can't be without my truck for 3 days. I drove a ford for 300,000 miles with no issues in the steering nor in the drivetrain. I drove a chevy for 200,000 miles with zero issues that this dodge ram 3500 has.

First occurrence was a bump entering an overpass.the truck went into a violent shaking and bouncing and went off the road on right shoulder.i had to have it nearly stopped for the undamped shaking to stop.on nov 7, 2011 i was driving on a perfectly smooth piece of highway at 65-70 mph when the truck "exploded" into a violent bouncing and shaking.the truck was bouncing uncontrollably until i finally locked the brakes and skidded off the shoulder and into a bank on the side of the road.if any vehicles had be in the adjacent lane, i would not have been able to avoid hitting them.

We were on the freeway going approximately 75 mph and hit a pothole in the road and the truck began to shake violently.my husband was able to gain control of the vehicle.i thought we were going to wreck.the tie rod had previously been replaced about a month before this initial incident.this is very dangerous because you are traveling at a high rate of speed.we then replaced the stabilizer shock and thought we fixed the problem only to have it do it again.we then went to big o tires and talked to them about replacing the shocks.we took the manager out to show him what it does and once again, when we got up to about 75 mph it hit a hole in the road and began to shake violently, almost causing us to go off the road.this is very dangerous!!!the manager from big o wasn't familiar with the problem but did some research and found an article about the "death wobble" that has been occurring in 2500 and 3500 dodge trucks between 2006 - 2010.the article said the problem is under investigation.in the mean time, how many people are going to crash and/or be killed because the problem is "being investigated"??we paid a good price for our truck and want to be able to use it as it was intended.at this point we are not able to because we don't trust it.we called our local dodge dealer, dale white motors, and voiced our concerns and they seemed like they weren't aware of the problem.

Driving on highway 101 in a northern direction driving in my lane and upon hitting a pot hole my truck went into a violent shuttering and shaking to the point of losing control of my vehicle pulling to the side of the road and coming to a complete stop in the emergency lane, then starting back up to drive until the next bump to send my truck into a front end shake athon, and violent shaking to the point of no ability to stear truck, this truck has been brought in to dealer 5 times and still it does the same thing after replacing stableizer shock absorber tie rod ends and new front shocks. The violent shaking is still continued on vehicle to this day and any bump on the road can set it off and the shaking will not stop unless i come to a complete stop!!!!

8-7-2010, traveling e/b hwy 26 at 55 mph near manning, or.just passing roadside fruit stand heard pop, truck pulled to right jumped the curb and veered directly toward steel guardrail.to avoid head on t.c. With guardrail, i pulled hard to the righttoward what appeared to be clear ravine.had to steer between two trees at bottom and struck pile of 4 foot logs left by dot.vehicle came to rest about another 50 feet.right front tire shredded, rim damaged, steering damaged as well as major front end damage.have digital of same.noted that witnesses at the fruit stand said they heard the pop and observed my vehicle pull to the right and jump the curb.roseburg lithia dodge body shop did all repairs.note that left front tie rod fell off while on blm road.had to be towed in and repairs again made by same shop.

Dodge 3500 recall #09v00500 steering linkages/tie rod assembly.swift dodge, 4318 chile road, davis ca informed me in august 09 that my truck was subject to this recall.in december 09 they purported to have completed the recall work as specified in invoice #25289.this was verbally described as necessitating complete disassembly/reassembly of the front end/steering. In june 2010 the steering track bar bolt failed and lodged between the drag link and tie rod end causing partial loss of steering. The upper and lower control arms and spring blocks were also found to be loose.vehicle was taken to stead chrysler in walnut creek.they attributed the failure to the installation of aftermarket leveling kit (installed june 09.)when i insisted that swift dodge had the front end apart in december 09, they researched the invoice and stated that it showed only an inspection was done.i contacted swift dodge to clarify- they admitted this was a discrepancy and said they would research it.they have ceased all communication with me as of july 1- phone calls and voice mails not returned.either they failed to complete the recall work or they completed it in a slipshod fashion.neither is acceptable.nhtsa should be aware of this dealer's and chryslers cavalier approach to safety related recalls and poor customer service.

Recall number: n49/nhtsa 13v-529 received january 2014we contacted our dealer to get this recall taken care of.they put us on a waiting list because chrysler does not have the parts to fix this recall. We also called chrysler customer service .they also tell us that there is not a time frame for these parts to be available.we have steering issues with our truck :vibration when going straight and when turning.taken in to dealership 3 times for repair they keep telling us it is tires. Truck has been checked bytire dealership: , alignment, balance.they believe it has something to do with the truck itself. We believe it is directly related to this recall and now we are concerned with driving this truck.we want it fixed sooner than later but chrysler doesn't seem to feel it is a concern to have parts available.

Received safty recall notice #n49/nhtsa 13v-529, on dec. 26, 2013, & told to bring to dealer after jan. 6. Was to leave for fla. !/4/14 with 14k 5th wheel.went to dealer on 12/29, & was told no parts till after 1/6. Took trip, & took truck to vero dodge in fla. As i would be in the area till 3.25/14. Truck was inspected & i was told a 20 week back order on parts. I called riverhead dodge in n.y. & was told that there was in fact a 20week back order & i would be put on a list. I am now 1400 miles from home in an unsafe , that dodge says they can't, or wont, fix & need to tow a 14k 5th wheel home. I was told "be careful l driving home".

Dodge issued a recall for faulty tie rod ends on this vehicle, safety recall $ n49/nhtsa 13v-529. I am 12,00 miles from home in fla. Towing a 14,000k 5th wheel. Went to the local dealer & was told there is a 20 week wait for parts. Phone calls to other dealers, including my local dealer in n.y. Confirmed a nation wide shortage of parts to fix this recall. I was told to "be careful driving home". Dodge is obviously not facing it's responsibility in this recall, & is forcing owners to drive dangerous vehicles.

I have received a recall notice from chrysler about our ram 3500 for a left tie rod replacement.it has currently been over two months since i have been to the dealer to initiate the replacement.they are now telling me i have another 6 months of waiting due to chrysler not shipping the parts for the recall.chrysler has also informed me i am operating the vehicle at our own risk in the event of a part failure, and a crash.it would seem to me that since this is a huge safety issue, that they would be making the parts available so owners are not risking self injury, and injury to others by operating the vehicle.many of these trucks are utilized in hauling horse trailers and such, and a rental cannot be found, and owners should not have to either quit driving their vehicles for extended periods of time, or be forced to pay for a rental in order to be safe.

I received a notice for a safety recall n49/nhtsa 13v-529 back in december i believe for a possible problem with the tie rod ball stud.the recall stated that the parts were not available at that time and to check with my dealership.i went in the dealership two weeks ago and they checked out my truck and stated that my vehicle qualified for the recall but they would have to put me on a waiting list as dodge would not let them stock the parts.they had to order the parts for each individual vehicle and then it was a two part process.i received another notice of recall today 6/30/14.i believe that if they are going to issue a recall then the parts need to be available or readily available to correct the problem.this truck was purchased specifically to tow our large 5th wheel camper and now we are in the middle of camping season wondering if we are going to crash every time we go out with the truck and trailer.

Sometime after receiving my recall notice i called to schedule the appointment for my recall (n49/nhtsa 13v-529) at the wyatt arp dodge dealership in seguin, texas.i was told that dodge had called back all those parts for fixing the recall problem and they didn't know when they would get more so i would need to just call back regularly to check if they were in yet.i asked if there was a waiting list i could go on and she said yes but it was 5 pages long.i asked to be put on the list anyway.some time later i made an appointment for an unrelated problem and asked for the recall to be taken care of.at the appointment she said there was a list and i asked her to look and see how far down we were and she couldn't find our name anywhere!so then she said she would just add my name to one of the pages in the middle of the stack.i have yet to hear from them!this is terrible service from wyatt arp and it makes dodge look bad too since the parts to fix the recall were called back from dodge.i was able to make an appointment today to take my truck to bluebonnet dodge in new braunfels, texas for a couple of weeks from now so hopefully we will remain safe driving our truck in the meantime.i had to send this complaint because it is terrible to receive a recall notice and not be able to get it taken care of for 6 months!

Recall n49 states "the left tie rod ball stud on your truck may fracture under certain driving conditions.this could cause a loss of directional control and/or crash without warning."sounds fairly serious.the recall notice further states "simply contact your chrysler, jeep, or dodge dealer starting january 6, 2014 to schedule a service appointment."i did contact my dealer on january 6, 2014 and several more times since.i have also contacted other dealers in my area about five times since january.always the same story.parts are not available.parts are backordered.no expected date for parts availability is known.i am somewhere between #50 - #60 on my dealer's waiting list.no one can tell me if the truck is safe to drive or when it might get fixed.chrysler needs to step it up a bit.do i have any recourse against chrysler at this time since my truck has been more or less setting in the garage for nearly 5 months and apparently will remain there for who knows how long?

I received the "important safety recall n49/nhtsa13v-529" during jan 2014.at the time i was told by the chrysler group recall assistance center that the parts were not available.i pull a very large fifth wheel rv and obviously am concerned about this part.i just got off the phone with the local dealer here (march 22) and was told that they did receive 2 of the parts for this repair (very courteous and respectful--apologetic).those parts were recalled shortly after they arrived (before being placed on a vehicle) and now i'm told april 2014 is when they expect to start receiving the parts.s/f, a concerned us marine.

Death wobblewhile driving down the interstate going around 50/60 miles i hit a bump in the road and the truck shakes out of control. The truck doesn't stop shaking until you slow down til about 30.it's very dangerous, just today i hit a bump going across a bridge on the interstate and the truck started shaking dangerously and another truck was behind me and on the side of me. The vehile on the right side of me had to hit the shoulder because while my truck was shaking the truck was going in that persons lane. I was scared out of my mind, it seemed that the truck just wouldn't slow down while i was on my breaks. This is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. These trucks need to be recalled and fixed correctly before a life is lost or someone hurt badly because of a faulty vehicle by chrysler/dodge

The violent shaking is still continued on vehicle to this day and any bump on the road can set it off and the shaking will not stop unless i come to a complete stop!!!!

The title and all of the paperwork shows 81,000.the title does not show true miles unknown or it does not show not actual miles.the dodge dealership in covington, ga ran a carfax report of the vehicle in may 2017 and it had discrepancies of mileage rollback.based on carfax and the calculations the vehicle has approximately 330,000 plus miles on it.i can not sell the truck.i can not trade it in because of the mileage rollback.this is something that i just found out in may 2017.i contacted the dealership and the owner would not talk to me about the issue.the owner had one of the employees to tell me that he will not be doing anything about it.this is against federal and state laws. Please help.thank you.

On it & we had chkd psig on all tires just previous to the blowout. This tire was a lt265/70r-17/10 terramax ht all position owl made by dynamic tire. Les schwab replaced it with one just like it. We had a 4,000lb arctic fox cab over camper on the truck at the time. Dynamic states there is not enough evidence of poor quality or anything else that would name them as the responsible party.
