The airbag light is on and the horn does not function.i was told that it is some type of a clock spring that is mounted under the steering wheel.my parents had a 1996 dodge grand caravan that had the same issue and there was a recall on it and it was fixed, but i cannot find a recall for my vehicle which is also made by chrysler just one year older.i believe this to be a safety problem that is unique to chrysler.i own a 1995 dodge ram3500.

While driving 55 mph owner tried to stop the vehicle. As soon as owner hit the brake, the front left wheel locked up, causing the vehicle to skid into three vehicles. Owner also states that the airbag did not deploy. Service manager at the dealer said that the brake shoes were installed incorrectly.

Brake light switch keeps burning out. Wire over heats and melts plug and switch/ brakes don't stop the truck loaded. We change the frount pads 20 to one set of rear brakes. Rear brakes very in afective

In july i received chrysler recall #875 which stated:the ignition switch and/or steering column wiring on your ram truck may overheat when the blower motor is operated at high speed for an extended period of time. This can cause stalling, loss of blower motor or power window operation, abs or airbag lamp illumination or a steering column/instrument panel fire.the day i received the notice, the starter died before i could get to the dealer. I tried to call chrysler to determine the likelihood of a connection between failure and recall. The dealer performed the recall service and replaced the starter and solenoid. By the time i reached chrysler, the repairs were complete. The mechanic, performing his first 875 recall said nocorrelation. I asked if there were other starter failures that might be related to the recall. The dealer said he would have chrysler call meto answer the question and provide information. The dealer continues to say that only chrysler would know, chrysler says only the dealer can answer.because failure of electric motors and solenoids can often result from low-voltage, over-heating, or over-current or rapidly repeated voltage application and the existence of such conditions seems to be well documented in recall 875, these conditions are reasonable cause of starter failure. Chrysler should pay for the atarter or show there is not a history of similar failures of other trucks recalled on 875.

Ignition switch was replacedthree times.whenputtingkey inignition there is a clinking noise. Dealership is aware ofproblem.

I am the original owner of a 1995 dodge 3500 with white paint and back in 1999 i noticed that the paint was starting to peel. I do use the truck for work so it is hard to bring the truck into the dealer unless it is something worth taking it off the road for a few days.in march of 2001 the truck had to go to the dealer for some service and recall work so i pointed out the paint problem and they could do anyting about it. They said it is not covered. Now it is so bad that i have to get it fixed. Their service manager has said he might be able to do something but ever time i get a minute to call he is never around and he does not return my calls.so i am filling out this report to see if there is a recall on the paint of the 1995 dodge 3500 and if there is what can i do to make the dealer honor the recall...thank you.
