Hazzard: intermittent head lamp operation (low and/or high beam cut-off) cause: unknown. Safety issue: keeping the headlamps on while driving (dodge ram 1998.5 2500 4x4 quad cab slt; 5.9l 24v cummins diesel; 47re; stock (no fog lights); 170,000 miles). Problem: headlamps (low and/or high beam), and occasionally, but not consistently the dashboard lights, cut-off intermittently -- actuating the dashboard mounted headlamp switch (push-pull) restores the lights. Trouble shooting/repairs (executed by a certified automotive repair facility): (1) checked multiple grounds (clean and tight);(2) checked fuses;(3) checked output from generator (steady - approx. 14.5 with "no load"; batteries - new 6/18);(4) checked circuits (verified continuity and resistance);(5) replaced steering column mounted multifunction switch; (6) replaced "headlamp/security" relay;(7) replaced headlamp/dashboard lighting combination switch (replaced 22 months ago (167,000) - original failed.note: dashboard above switch - warm to touch.(8) replaced headlamp bulbs (both). Horn fails to sound approximately 60% of the time. Force required and size of activating area on steering wheel were severely overlooked by design engineers. I am a6' tall physically active male and i have a very difficult time sounding horn (very dangerous)
The horn difficult to press in to honk if necessary.very difficult to sound horn while driving in normal conditions.would be extremely difficult to sound in an emergency.i have need to easyily sound horn to worn animals out of my path and have been unable to due to this problem.
Horn requires a great deal of force to activate.
The horn pad requires exessive amount of effort to operate.
Horn is very hard to operate.
Horn does not work. It is very hard to make the horn go off. You have to press very hard on the steering wheel. The button is inside of the airbag. If in an emergency you will not be able to honk the horn and will possibly crash.

Dodge diesel lift pump failure.
I drove the truck as normal and the block developed a crack in the right side the failure is the water jacket of the block that keeps the cooling fluid inside the engine. This means i am not able to drive the truck without filling the cooling fluid every 300 miles.this is a 53 block manypeople have had problems with these!!!!!i contacted dodge and the say there is nothing they can do. I will need a new block/engine...$6500 for a new one..$3500 for used.

I have contacted daimlerchrysler on four separate occasions by email and written correspondence regarding a defect in the lift pump of the 1998-2002 dodge rams with the 5.9 liter cummins 24 valve diesels. The lift pumps experience premature failure leading to costly repair of the injector pump. By cummins own admission to me by email on january 9, 2007, dodge has been provided with a more reliable replacement lift pump to be installed in the gas tank in conjunction with an indicator light that illuminates when fuel pressure drops to a level to harm the injector pump.even though daimlerchrysler is fully aware of the defect and the remedy, they are refusing to conduct a recall on the vehicles and have refused to answer my latest correspondence on january 17, 2007.they have referred me to my local dealer, which i contacted and received no response from the service manager.

Consumersmelled gas.took vehicle to a mechanic, andmechanic stated that fuel was spraying over engine, which could result in a fire.
When the cruise control was engaged the speed exceeded thespeed set by the consumer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that the engine control module needed to be replaced. There was also a recall on the fuel transfer pump.the pump was replaced, but now a new pump is needed.
On march 2003 while drivingvehicle stalled, and was driven to the nearest dealership, who replaced both fuel pumps at manufacturer's expense. One year latervehicle has the same symptom as the previous year. Dealership indicated again itwas the injector fuel pump, butwas not any longer under warrannty. Dear sirs:i am contacting you on behalf of myself and all owners of 1998.5-2002 dodge ram pickups equipped with 5.9l 24 valve cummins diesel engines.these vehicles were manufactured with a faulty fuel lift pump that is subject to premature failure.this can cause subsequent damage to the injector pump resulting in unexpected engine failure.this fact is well documented on the web among owners, as well as diesel experts.the lift pump fails when it is unable to provide adequate fuel to the injector pump.its failure rate is significant in the cummins diesel applications because the pump is defective and the remote location from the fuel tank places additional stress on the defective pump, thereby causing pump failure.in addition, there is no warning to the customer when the lift pump pressure falls below the minimum 48 oz. In 30 seconds, thereby causing irreversible damage to the injector pump.repair of the damaged injector pump is in excess of $2000. Some owners have replaced the oem lift pump as many as four times.even cummins, who manufactures the engine for daimler chrysler, has acknowledged the defective pump (email evidence can be submitted upon request). Daimler chrysler took no steps to notify owners of this defect and they have repeatedly refused requests by owners to replace the defective pump with the more reliable one, in conjunction with adding the fuel pressure warning lamp.they will only provide such retrofit if the owner is willing to pay the parts and labor cost of well over $1000.it seems as though daimler chrysler has allowed corporate greed to eclipse the safety of its customers.i have not personally experienced lift pump failure, since my vehicle is a 1998.5 with only 5000 miles.i do, however, feel that daimler chrysler should replace the pump with the more reliable pump and fuel pressure warning lamp.this issue should be a recall item since any unanticipated engine failure can jeopardize the safety of drivers.
Fuel sending unit failed.
While drivingat 55mph vehicle shut down for noreason, forcingconsumer to pull out of the road. Dealerstated vehicle was running without gas due a faulty measure gauge sending unit.
Driving at highway speed the cruise control would not disengage via the brake or by hitting off on the steering wheel.if i put the clutch in the engine was idling at 2300 rpms.the throttle was stuck on and i could not slow down... I turned the engine off and turning it back on again the problem was not reset.my clutch and breaks got a little burnt up making it home that night...as the problem happened when i was in the middle of nowhere.one i made it home i turned the engine off and manually jiggled the throttle linkages on the side of the injection pump.restarted the vehicle and theproblem was reset until cruise control was used again....this was very dangerous to have the throttle sticking at such high speed... So i looked into safety recalls #b15 thinking great my truck is covered... Only to find out that recall was already performed.also the fuel heater recall was performed and it so happens in the last 4 moth have to do the fuel heater delete because the wiring and plastic piece was all burnt up.looks like these trucks are having a second round of the same or similar safety recall issues.
I am amazed there are no reports on 1998 1/2 - 2001 model dodge pickups with the cummins diesel engine as the bosch vp44 main (injector) fuel pump has a failure rate of 100%.i've had 3 fail so far & for diesel mechanics it's common knowledge that it's not a matter of if the the vp44 pump will fail, it's just a matter of when.the last time a pump died on me was when i was going down the interstate @ 70 mph & the engine just shut off.i knew immediately it was another fuel pump failure, but other drivers may not realize what went wrong & i'd be surprised if there haven't been any wrecks due to vp44 pump failure, which gives you no advance warning - it just quits.in 2002 dodge/cummins charged the fuel system on the diesel engine for dodge pickups (including a different fuel pump), but all 1998 1/2 thru 2001 models came with the same bosch vp44 main injector pump.

I own a 1998 dodge ram 2500, i have noticed this problem on multiple dodges and read about it on the internet, the front lower axle mount rots out due to poor design leaving nothing to hold the spring in place my coil mount is rotted out and there is barely any left of it, and dodge nor do any auto part stores sell coil mounts to replace it the mount is welded directly on the axle so the axle housing would need to be replaced, this is very unsafe if the axle were to give out dew to this.
Event: pulled up in front of barn to get a load of hay.moved gear selector lever to reverse to back up to building, but when accelerator was pressed, vehicle moved forward. Failure:internal parts in steering column had become disconnected from each other, the result being that movement of the gear selector lever did not affect the lever at the end of the steering column that is connected to the transmission control rod.the only way that the vehicle could be placed in park, started, or put into a gear position was to raise the hood and move the transmission control rod by hand.solution:since the steering column is a welded assembly and is not serviceable, it was replaced.the old assembly is available for inspection.the assembly part number isp55351175related complaint: similar to complaint odi id 892310 which was entered as a problem with component : powertrain: automatictransmission: p/n start switch.my problem would have manifested itself in the same way if i had placed the shift lever into park position and had gotten out of the vehicle without setting the brake.
The gear shifted out of drive when the vehicle went over a bump.
I was pulling a car from indio ca to phx. Az when it started ticking and smokeing and lost power i pulledover checked the oil and it was 2 quarts low it had never used oil before this it never got hot though i slowed way down and barely made it home.
While i was driving the vehicle at about 35 mph, the truck began revving, then stopped. I could see transmission fluid leaking. The truck was towed to the dealer, who removed the transmission and rebuilt it.
Transmission failure in my 1998 dodge ram 2500.jasper.com lists this transmission as a high rate of failure due to lack of lubrication.this problem exists in all dodge trucks manufactured from 1995 to 2001 and maybe more.local transmission rebuilders also agree that the transmission was built with to low a volume transmission pump and that you should not let the truck idle, because there is no lubrication.
Automatic transmissionhas difficulty shifting between drive and overdrive. Also, vehicle will not accelerate properly with gas pedal being pressed allway tofloor.also, therewas erratic operation ofoverdrive kicking in without provocation. The consumer was informed by the district manager that the manufacturer was increasing the horse power and torque to help solve the transmission shifting problem.
From day 1 of the new truck, i had shifting problems. Before i had 1200 miles on the truck it was in the shop twice. The first time they took the transmission apart and inspected and placed back into the truck. Problem shifting continued. The 2nd time in the shop, they replaced the transmission, clutch and slave cylinder, this worked. Then at 53000 miles i took the truck in for recall work (828), to replace the slave cylinder. At 60000 miles i had shifting problems again. They replaced the transmission and clutch which was 50% out of my pocket. The day i picked the truck up from the dealer i went on vacation for 2000 miles which resulted in shifting problems. I took the truck back at 62000 and they replaced the slave cylinder, but the transmission was leaking. At 64470 miles the trans went dry and dealer replaced another trans. After i picked the truck up from the dealer, the slave cylinder blow apart 5 miles away from the dealer on the way home. Hydralic fluid spilled on to the hot exhaust pipes, which cause smoke. After picking the truck up from the dealer on 11/28/01 the slave cylinder blow again 1 mile from the dealership with fluid again pouring onto the exhaust pipes which cause smoke. The truck is currently at the dealer putting in a 5th cylinder with 64477 miles on the truck.
Automatic transmission jumps in and out of overdrive, the speed control does not fuction properly as well. When the truck had 2,987 miles on it the original transmission destorted by itself, a new one was installed and 2 recalls performed (788 and 799).ever since that time the truck has been to the original dealer twice for repairs and to a local dealer for repairs.as of last week chrysler motor corp. Believes there is a problem with the computer that is causing both problems, but will not give me a time frame when the program fix will be available.in the meantime i have been told to drive the truck because it is still under warranty, and if the transmission should destory itself again the corp. Will replace it.i purchased this truck to pull a horse trailer and i cannot use it for the purpose in which was intended for.
Whileacceleratingtransmission down shifted at will, almost causing an accident.

I noticed automatic transmission fluid leaking under the truck when returning from a trip. Close inspection revealed that two of the transmission lines had been rubbing together which resulted in a break in one of the lines. Fortunately, i noticed it before the transmission had lost enough fluid to fail. Had i been on a long trip towing a trailer the results of a highway speed transmission failure might have been far more serious, especially on a mountain road. The line should be replaced.this appears to be a design/manufacturing/assembly defect.
While driving, the transmission started slipping.vehicle was taken to dealer.the transmission cooling lines had been rubbing together, which caused them to leak.the transmission had to be replaced.*scc

Transfer case went completely out and required replacement.no reasoning was given for cause of failure.i am concerned after getting a new 2000 dollar transfer case that the problem may occur again if the cause is still out there and not fixed.maybe the cause was a weak part in the case itself.either way, transfer cases usually do not go out with so few miles on them and i do not even drive on gravel roads let alone go four wheeling with it so tough driving could not have been the cause.i also question why a new transfer case for my truck has taken four weeks now to get.are that many going out that the manufacurer can not keep up? i am wondering if this has happened with other similar vehicles or if this was just a fluke.thanks for your help.

Having transmission problems with a 1998 dodge ram 2500. Transmission overheats and "transtemp" light comes on after overdrive shuts of while doing highway driving. Truck has high miles but i believe the problem is attributed to a poorly designed torque converter malfunctioning and is not directly related to the age, miles or normal wear and tear of the vehicle. I have learned it is common to have the transmission rebuilt or repaired one or more times during the duration of the trucks life. If what i have learned is true then this is unacceptable business practice from dodge and the consumer should not have to pay for a defect in manufacturing.

Clutch when depress does not disengage. It is to my believe it is an engineering flaw in the clutch slave cylinder. It happens more fequent when vechile is warm than cold. Vehicle parked in driveway. Upon getting in vehicle, i found both the driver's side and passenger side seat belts locked in the retracted position. I stopped at a local dealership for part #p56043003ad and was informed this part on national back order. This seat belt timer control module is necessary for the seat belts to function as designed. Truck can only be driven without seat belts in use.

I have a 98 ram 2500 v10 if i goabout 65 mph there is a massive wobble in the steering wheel but if i speed up to 70 it stops or if i slow down to 60 it stops. There should be a recall on this because all of the ram trucks that i have had do this exact same thing.
I have recently exerienced what i would describe as a "wandering front end" on my '98 ram.i had a local dealer look at the problem.they spent 0.60 hrs diagnosing a "slightly worn lower column shaft".they were quick to point out that this may not fix the problem and that perhaps i should continue driving the vehicle in hope that the symptoms would become more evident.i declined any repair.i later went "on-line" and was surprised to find a technical service bulletin on the subject. (tsb 19-10-97 - "steering wander")in addition, i found an entire web site dedicated to this phenomena.(key search, dodge ram) the stories are very similar to what i am experiencing and some are much worse - scary!i e-mailed daimler chrysler and asked if they were considering any sort of corrective action.their answer was no. Ts
There has not been an incident.the vehicle tends to wander and requires constant adjustment to maintain proper location tin traffic lane.$1000 repairs last a few thousand miles.talking with other owners of similar vehicles indicates this is a common problem for this vehicle.ma 10/8 updated 12/11/2017

Dashboard cracking and now has holes which could lead to electrical problems due to wire damage under the dash. Incident date below is when i first noticed the cracking. This is on a 1998 dodge ram 2500.
Dash board has cracked and is falling apart for no apparent reason.
The contact owns a 1998 dodge ram 2500. While driving at any speed, the air bag light remained illuminated and the horn sounded without being promoted. In addition, the contact heard a noise under the vehicle. The contact noticed that the metal parts that held the wheels were corroded and caused the spare tire to detach. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.
Dashboard is seriously cracked and broken, chunks are missing, cracks go from front all the way to the windshield, giving vehicle to son next year, worried pieces of plastic may fly into his eyes, and it looks embarrassing also.
The dash started cracking a couple years after new purchase of ram 2500.
Upon removal of dashboard to replace heater and evaporator cores while removing the dashboard it crumbled into dust the dash had no visible cracks until view from below seeing about 200+ cracks from dashboard becoming brittle from being improperly made, this occurs with all dodge ram dashboards from years 94-98.5 and yet no recall has been made, had this dash shattered while driving or in a crash i could have had lots of sharp plastic cuts from the shattered dashboard but it seems that the nhtsa doesn't respond to the amount of people submitting the same problem. Cost to replace dash is $600 from dealer with the same dashboard that will last approx 3 years according to dealership.
The contact owns a 1998 dodge ram 2500. The contact stated the entire length of the dashboard had numerous hairline cracks. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.
Plastic dashboard materials are defective.1998 year model dodge ram 2500hd 24v dsl 4x4 qc sb truck...dash started getting very brittle after only 6 years of use...recently had to access the a/c evaporator core...and the dashboard literally crumbled. Cracked dash on 1998 dodge ram 2500 pickup truck.crack is about 6 inches long and working its way down to where the airbag is stored.no particular event led to the dash cracking, it just started one day and has increased in size over time. This is a common issue and several other people with the same vehicle have the same problem.i would like dodge to replace the dash as i am concerned about airbag deployment.
The contact owns a 1998 dodge ram 2500. The contact stated that the dashboard exhibited several fragmented pieces. In addition, the faulty horn switch was no longer being produced as an individual part and was currently being manufactured as one assembly part with the combination of the horn switch and frontal air bag. The contact stated that the part was more costly. The vehicle was not repaired. An authorized dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.

It turns out it was a failure of the wheel bearings.according to the mechanic, this is a common problem with sealed wheel bearings - the seal goes bad, the bearings dry out, then they lock up.it typically results in a tire falling off and an ensuing accident - often fatal.my 5 year old son was with me and i was fortunate not to have taken the highway where i would have been traveling at 65 mph.i'm quite certain i would have killed someone if not my son and myself.i have a 1998 dodge 2500 with the cummins diesel and it has 99985 miles on it - the diesel engine exacerbates this problem due to the noise level - i may have been able to hear these bearings going out sooner.i had to replace the wheel bearings and other misc parts that were torn apart - either when the bearings went out or i hit the snow berm.
Three bearings in the rear went out.
Sway bar bolts that hold sway bar fell out, and almost caused an accident.went to dealer and got it fixed. But then all four bolts that hold the sway bar fell out again, causing an accident.also, worn gear in the steering box caused a loss of steering.dealer cannot determine the problem.problem still exists. *ml
This vehicle has a dana 70 rear end.manufacturer failed to shim when originally built.this caused rear end to shift and elongate mounting section thus destroying entire rear end.manufacturer claims no liability due to passing 100,000 mile limit of warranty.my concern is that anyone pulling heavy trailers could experience a total failure of the rear end while moving.this would almost certainly cause the trailer to jacknife and could lead to injury or at least considerable damage.we haul show horses that are valued in excess of $150,000 and we just wanted to alert the nhtsa and the general public in what we see is a potentially dangerous problem.perhaps ours is the only occurance or perhaps there are others waiting to happen.
Consumer complaintng while driving vehicle the back end go out of control whenever the vehicle go over a bumps or pot hole. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop more then twice, condition still occur. Dealer can find or locate the problems.
While checking air pressures, found crack in sidewall about four inches long parallel to tread and about 2 inches from edge of rim.on further inspection found another tire with similar crack about 1 inch long (dot number: mk11tiresize: lt245/75r1)
The correct tire size lt245/75r16.local dealer confirmed tire failure but was unwilling to replace tires or work out a suitable exchange.wrote email to mfgr on 10/26/00, they in turn down played the problem saying no problems with the tires.have read several times in the local new since that there are problems and they are not acknowledging.both tires have large seperations in the side walls.i have since replaced all four tires with another brand and did not feel safe with goodyear products after the experience. (tiresize: lt245/75r1)( dot number:tire size: lt245/75r1 )
Tires out of round.
People in service dept. At dealership told me that my gear box and tie rod needed to be replaced due to an oversized tire (approx. 2 inches taller than factory tire) also due to the fact of using a lower gear to pull a trailer. The truck is an automatic.
Tire blewout while drivingvehicle. Goodyear, wrangler, ht p235/75r15.
The belts in the sidewall of the tire separated causing a bubble that leads to a rip (2-4 inches long) that ran parrallel to the rim, goodyear was contacted and they stated that there was a flaw in the bonding of the belts in the sidewall (goodyear wrangler lt 24575r16e).nlm
This is a "load range e" goodyear tire problem.at 30081, 30805, 35213, and 38060, miles one eachof the original equipment tires failed due to sidewall separation and was replaced at varying charges by dealers.now, at about 50,612 miles, one of the replacement tires has failed for the same reason.goodyear is giving me a "run around" as has been the case in all previous occurrences variously claiming that the tire is "no longer avaailable""on backorder""no longer manufactured""not adjustable"etc.it has now been two weeks since the last failure was shown to goodyear, and they claim not to be able to locate a replacement.i have complete documentation of each of these situations, dealer names and locations, and am ready to assist you in whatever way is appropriate. I have a 1998 dodge 2500 quad cab with the cummings diesel. I tow a enclosed lawn trailer that weighs about 500 lbs. Hitch is rated at 10'000 lbs.about a month ago i started having trouble unhitching my trailer. Had to put rear wheels on a 2x4 to get the dolly down. I checked the hitch and found the 2 rear boltholes hat tore outand the 2 middle holes were cracked allowing the hitch to drop about 1 1/4 inches. I contacted the local dealer the stated no recall so no repair. I contacted the mfg. And was told the same thing. So about a month later i tried again no hitch. I found a recall on line #872 called again the stated no recall on my truck. I purchaed a new hitch from dodge which has 4 bols on each side not 3. Info i found states inferrior material in hitch if cracked or torn unit must be replaced. A friend of mine had the exact same problem on a 97 2500 but he had a recall and they replaced the hitch. I still have the hitch and if you need pictures i can send them.
The contact owns a 1998 dodge ram 2500. The contact stated that the trailer hitch fractured in the area where the trailer hitch mounts to the frame. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign id number: 00v107000 (trailer hitches). The failure mileage was 158,000.
Keyless remote malfunctioned.
The throttle linkage is a recall. I took it to douglas chrystler jeep dodge ram dealerin venice, fl and they said they couldn't help me because the recall had already been performed once. Seeing that it is a safety recall i was under the impression that they would take care of it but when i called they said they can only replace a recall item once. Vehicle lunges forward when i am at a stop light and idles high.
I have a 1998 dodge ram 2500 diesel which i bought in 1999 and in may 2001 the dash cracked. Ibought a new one but the dealer wants $400.00 to install it.i understand there is problem with the dashes in these trucks. And a recall is pending.
I have had the steering damper replaced several times.it is unknown to me why this happens and the dealer has no answer either.all the components on this vehicle are "heavy-duty".braking is becoming more of a problem as the brakes wear down.the truck only has 21,000 miles on it.the power door locks i have no idea about they just stopped working one day, but, they do work w/ the remote entry.i also noticed the horn actuator is hard to activate due to the hard "leather" for the airbag cover.the driver's door keeps getting missaligned,i have never heard of a vehicle having this much of a problem like it.
The dash board on my truck is cracking and i am very concerned with the air bag being rendered useless as a result of this and also the dangers to myself and possible passengers due to the broken pieces of dash being thrown around in the event of an accident.
1998 dodge ram 2500 24 valve cummins dieseldash board crackingseverely, anti lock brakes not functioning properly, overdrive locking and unlocking around 45 mph. After trying several remedies.
Speed control (cruise control) was engaged when vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own. When going uphill, would maintain speed.was cresting the hill when it picked up speed.
Cummins diesel engine; intermittently while the cruise control is activated cruise vehicle accelerates unexpectedly up to 15 mph.when turning off cruise control, it will unexpectedly turn on .dealer readjusted the cruise control, but problem is reoccurring. *ml
Cruise control failed.yh
When the cruise control was engaged the speed exceeded thespeed set by the consumer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that the engine control module needed to be replaced. There was also a recall on the fuel transfer pump.the pump was replaced, but now a new pump is needed.
1998.5 24valve cummins diesel, one owner with factory ecm (799) update, never any "chips". On cold start up, everything normal until i go to take off, any application to the accelerator and asif i put the accelerator all the way to the floor, truck will continue to accelerate until either i remove my foot completely off the pedal, or the governor kicks in.
The vehicle experienced sudden acceleration.
While sittiing in park position and running, vehicle took off and hit a car. Then ran into a pile of snow. Dealer has not seen vehicle.
Cruise control knob malfunctioning.
While i was driving the vehicle at about 35 mph, the truck began revving, then stopped. I could see transmission fluid leaking. The truck was towed to the dealer, who removed the transmission and rebuilt it.
While waiting at a stop light, i had the clutch pedal depressed and the truck in first gear. The truck suddenly started to drive off as if i had released the clutch. I had to struggle to shut off the engine and regain control of the vehicle. Nlm
Cruise control failed.
Without prior notice while driving at any speed, the vehicle keeps shutting down due to excessive wear.
The cruise control on my vehicle is erratic and unstable.
While accelerating vehicles throttle pedal goes to the floor.consumer has to cut off engine in order to release throttle cause is unknown.please provide any further information.ts

I have a 98 ram 2500 v10 if i goabout 65 mph there is a massive wobble in the steering wheel but if i speed up to 70 it stops or if i slow down to 60 it stops. There should be a recall on this because all of the ram trucks that i have had do this exact same thing.
I i purchased new truck tires that self destructed in 4,000 miles. Complete a massive tread separation resulting in freeway speed tire blow out. Veerubber taiga h/t r33. Four out of two failed. Dallas dealer said they were unsafe at any speed upon examination.
Front wheel rim bent during normal highway operatios, causingvibration invehicle.there was no determinationwhat may have caused this defect with only 25,347 miles onrim.note:after first rim was replaced, there were currently two more rims on this vehicle thatwere bent, and were causingvibration.the vehicle's vibration became worse.the dealer tried to balance and rotate the tire.
