Electrical problems caused the cruise control to fail.

Steering column has too much play in it and makes the vehicle hard to control,when a bump is hit the vehicle pulls too much to either side and is hard to manage. Dealer has not been contacted.
When the consumer turned the steering wheel to the right, he/she was unable to straighten the wheel which caused the vehicle to crash.the vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated the problem was in the steering gear box.the consumer stated the steering gear box was replaced approximately a month ago.
Dt*: the contact stated while driving 50 mph on dry and flat road conditions, the front hood flew open, which pushed the windshield into the cab.no injuries were sustained.there were no warnings prior to the incident.the vehicle was pulled over, and another driver assisted the contact in pushing the hood back down, so that the vehicle could be driven to the residence.the dealer was contacted, and offered no resolution.the vehicle had recall work performed that involved oiling the hood spring months prior to the incident.on 08/28/06, the contact noticed online that there was another recall for the replacement of the hood latch.on 09/28/06, the manufacturer was contacted and offered to cover only the parts and labor stated in the recall.the contact asked the manufacturer why a recall letter was not received, and the manufacturer expressed that recall notices are not sent by certified mail.
While driving he vehicle constantly pulls to the right. Has had vehicle in shop several times and they can't find the problem. Had steering column and the steering box replaced and the problem still exists.
Shock absorber failed causing extreme vibration.
Locking device/mechanism that holds the left rear axle in place within the axle housing failed and the axle came out while traveling down street.the safety issue is that this could have happened at highway speeds and could have coused great damage to other as well as owner of vehicle.the vehicle was brought to a stop before the axle could completely depart vehicle thus minimizing damage.
Tire exploded at 45 miles per hour.with 25,000 miles on tire. Bridgestone dueler a/t lt285/75r16

While driving down road felt bump in tires, slowed down,looked in rear view mirror and saw tire tread going around ontire. Consumer pulled to the side and changedtire.it was a b.f. Goodrich size16 " tire.
