Proceeding through a grassy overflow parking lot at local resturant, vehicle crossed a small dip in the area, similar to an inverse speed bump,at approximately 10 mph when air bag deployed causing minor burns and skin irritation to the driver. Cost to replace estimated at $800 by dealer. Note this vehicle was involved in a accident approx 3-4 years ago, this vehicle rear ended another vehicle.the airbag didn't deploy, all front end damage was repaired by the selling dealer referenced in this report.

(if an owner complains of repetitive instances of throwing the serpentine belt during wet weather, check the upper alternator bracket mounting bolt location for breaks or cracks.) the bracket was removed, a piece of steel was worked to replace the broken area of the bracket and mig welded into the bracket.

The most recent failure was when i was driving up a very curvy road (hwy 101) in oregon. The temperature was not overly warm, the car had only been driven 20 miles or so that morning. I was using the air conditioner off and on so as not to have the windows open. We reached the crest and when starting down, the engine died when the gas pedal was released and brakes applied, andthe power steering stopped. I managed to break to the side of the road and was towed to town. The next morning when the mechanic's opened, they started the car and it didn't fail after 20 miles of driving the same terrain, and we returned home (90 miles or so) without a problem.this has happened on several previous occasions, intermittently, months may go by, then without warning, usually when removing my foot from the gas, the car loses power and dies. It has always started up again immediately except for the latest incident.the former owner of this car said this also happened to him. He seems to think adding a fuel cleaner to the gas helps prevent occurrences. Mechanics say it's impossible to find the cause if it's running. Needless to say, i'll be looking for a newer vehicle.
Vehicle's fuel rail pipe spring is defective,causing a fuel leak on the manifold.this causes a fire risk. The part to fixis on national back order and there is no recall.

After normal servicing on the fuel rail on my 1992 dodge dynasty 3.3lv6, the non-replaceable seals in the crossover tube at the end of the fuel rail began leaking.this is the same leak fixed in recall campaign 00v268000 for the dodge caravan 3.3l v6, however my local dealership could not provide me with the seals that are used to repair this leak.through much investigation on the internet, i have found many instances of other owners of dodge/chrysler vehicles with the same 3.3l/3.8l v6 engines that are experiencing this same issue, and feel that this recall should be expanded to cover all makes and models shipped with this engine and fuel-rail combination.*la

Steering:wheel and handle bar:was driving to school when the steering wheel sheered of steering column. Was not able to steer car luckly i was not on a major street or freeway. Spent about $100 at e&j to get used steering column and $200 to get repaired by aamco. This failure is not reported as a recall by chrystler.

Driving about 35-40mph when a noise like a creak or click was heard. Checked the windshield & noticed a crack. No rock or anything had hit windshield. Drove to glass shop & mechanic felt inside/outside for crack, but did not feel anything. Called manufacturer & informed not responsible for windshield.
The windshield wipers are inoperable,making driving dangerous in rainy weather conditions.please give any further details.
