This car seat did not fit into our dodge durango even though it said "great for compact cars". We had to scoot the seat up so far that it would have been very difficult to drive. We needed to use it rear facing (even though it can later be converted). We latched it in, but it was so difficult to tighten. We tightened it as much as we could, but even then, it would flip forward. Very unsafe!we did everything right, it was just a terrible carseat and should not be advertised to use rear facing. I don't know about forward because my baby is still under 1 year old. It is very appealing to parents because of it's low price and should be off the shelves. After i took it back, an employee told me that the company had recently changed it's name because of a bunch of recalls it had not long ago. People need to be aware of this.

Consumer made an appointment for recall (892) and was to stay therw with the vehicle, but when he arrived he was told that vehicle was a drop off becuase it would be a 3 1/2 hour wait, consumer left the dealer without having the repairs done.

Transmission pan gasket failed.
Transmission gearshift can easily be bumped into reverse or park while driving at any speed. There is nothing stopping it from going into reverse or park. A child, loose item in the cab or anything can bump it and send you into a screeching halt.
Driveshaft center bearing failed, causing vibration.
Submission from constituent re severe incident complaint with a rental dodge grand caravan.the consumer stated while driving, his daughter suddenly started screaming, because the seat belt started retracting. The consumer was unable to release the belt, so scissors had to be used, to cut his daughter out of the seat belt. His daughter sustained scratches and bruises.
