I've had a recurring issue with a fuel smell in my vehicle . Turns out most dodge chargers have defective fuel pumps and lucky us there are 2 at almost 700 dollars together from napa . Why hasn't this issue been recalled?it can cause major damage to the engine if fuel gets in the oil. Major safety concern gas vapors should never be in cabin !!!!

Takata recall - i have a younger driver driving a car with a passenger side airbag recall.this recall was issued over a year ago and it has still not been completed with no target date given.i purchased the car so that it could be driven safely and fully.my child has not been able to have a passenger in the car for over a year.the dealer does not seem to care, nhtsa does not seem to care, and takata does not seem to care.you won't even say not to drive the car because of the potential law suits and loss of revenue that it would cost the manufacturers.you have clearly calculated the cost of death and/or injury at a lower value than the potential loss of revenue that would result from fixing the issue or deeming the vehicles as not drivable.it is ridiculous and unacceptable.i want the car fixed or replaced asap.we are relying on good decisions to be made by teenage drivers when you cannot clearly make good decisions in regards to safety guidelines written in your recall statements?fix this asap!

Towed my car to dealership on 1/24/2019 due to lifesaving recalls and was refused the lifesaving repairs based off my vehicle allegedly not being able to start which is a lie because the towing service jump started the battery at my place of residence and drove the car onto the towing bed.hence my vehicle still posing a threat on life and client safety as a whole. Which will not be eradicated until i fix the car which in that time the airbags could explode and kill myself and other innocent people.

My son and i were traveling home in charleston wv.we merged onto the patrick st bridge in the left lane.there was a disabled vehicle in the lane that did not have on it's hazard lights.due to rain and wet conditions, when i applied the brakes to stop the car hydroplaned and hit dead center in the rear of the 2006 ford explorer that was disabled.the crashed caused the rear of my car to lift slightly off the ground and moved all front end components from the grill to the radiator etc...into the engine.this shifted the engine backwards, crumpled both fenders, and also the hood.the airbags did not deploy at all for either passenger side for my son or driver side for myself.no one was injured in the crash.the car is being considered a total loss at this time.everyone i have spoken to are shocked the airbags did not deploy with the amount of damage the impact caused.i have seen that there was a recall on the 2011-2012 dodge chargers for airbags but i did not see a recall for my make or model.i will be following up with dodge also to investigate this problem.

Takata recall: my 18 year old son was in a car crash and suffered from tbi. He was unplugged from life support 8 hours later. Nothing could be done to help him. It is my belief that the airbag deployed with great force and caused tbi. He had uncontrollable bleeding from both ears and massive bleeding on the brain. We never received a recall notice on his car until two months after the accident. Updated 9/13/18
Approximately september 10 2015 my car would not crank. I took it to the chrysler dodge dealership where they said it was my battery. I paid for a new battery, and within a week my car wouldn't crank again. I took it back to the dealership where now they were saying that its an win wireless ignition node module. There's been a recall for my year make and model, however my specific vin number is not showing up for a recall, and the dealership said that it will be over $1,000.00 to fix it.
Head light go fluxuate dim to bright the car has strut problems tie rod problems at 75000 mile im on third set of tires i have brought my concerns to litha dodge only to be told there is nothing wrong it is hipmotizing to drive in the slightest of fog not to mentin dangerous
While driving on a 2 lane highway with traffic behind me, the car shuts down and i lose power while driving. The steering wheel locked up making it very difficult to turn. I pressed the gas repeatedly and nothing happened. Cars behind me were blowing but there wasn't much i could do.the car was slowing down anyway so i pressed the brake and they worked so i struggled like crazy to turn the steering wheel and was able to put the car into a church driveway. Thank god the brakes worked or it could've been ugly. I tried starting the car but it wouldn't do anything but act like it wanted to start.it wasn't a clicking it was more like a winding noise like a ruuu ruuu ruuu. I tried to start it again and it made the same noise but it sounded worse. I had to have the car towed to my home because there wasn't a repair shop opened that late. I'm going to call a mechanic to see what the issue might be. This is not the first time this has happened to me.it happened two in april and three times in may of this year but it started back up. I wasn't so lucky this time. The last time it happened i replaced the alternator and the battery and i had not had any problems since doing that. I took it in to have it checked and it was placed on a machine and no codes would show up but the guy recommended i replace the alternator and the battery, and i did. Dodge really needs to do something asap. This [xxx] is ridiculous. It happened to me when i was on the interstate and on the highway. Hopefully this doesn't happen with an inexperienced driver or someone in a really high traffic area because someone could get injured or killed. I guess that's what they're waiting on to fix the problem.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Charged battery up and car started right up so we test from it. While driving it only a few miles we noticed that there is a strange new whining noise coming from under there hood, esp/ tration control lights came on and car died againcharged battery again and it started right up again however we are reluctant to drive it again due to this issue.sounds like alot of people in online forums are having this same issue, but yet no recalls or fix's for whatever the issue is

The key fob will not work with car, will not open the car, start the car without several attempts to use the key. Even after replacing the batteries and reprogramming new keys key fobs fail to open doors or turn car on. I also have been looking online for similar malfunctions thousands of dodge car owners are having the same problem.i have been stranded in the middle of no where because the key would not start my car nor would the spare.i spoke with the dodge dealer as well as dodge corporate office they said there is nothing wrong but thousands of people are having the same problem where dodge is charging $1000 - $2000 to fix the problem however that does not fix the problem a lot of the time. I please ask that you look into this it is a dangerous malfunction in any situation where you may need your car in a moments notice and it does not work. Key fobs from 2009 - on fail to work with car. Does not unlock doors does not start car without attempting to use the fob over and over.

I encountered a rough bridge expansion joint on the highway, the key fell out of the ignition killing the engine in heavy fast moving traffic. I was able to coast to the shoulder, it took four or five tries to re-start the car. This problem has continued for over two months. Dodge diagnosed the problem as a bad win module. This same part was a recall on 37,355 other cars of this make and year, but not on mine based on the vin? dodge will do nothing to cover the fix, they say the repair part is unavailable, i'm forced to drive it as is and take my chances.

I need assistance in having fca (fiat chrysler automotive) important safety recall p60/nhtsa 14v-634 alternator honored (vanished according to fca) to cover the cost of replacing my alternator and battery in my 2010/2011 dodge charger (manufactured in late 2010) which according to the dealership, are now in need of replacement.i have experienced variable electrical/power failures with my vehicle over the course of the summer/fall months of 2020 from reduced and random, temporary power failures, electrical system voltage drops, and lightning bolt sensors coming on which instantly reduced the acceleration of the vehicle on the highway and on occasion even led to complete power failure, shutting off the engine when idling at a stop.this issue came to a head around the end of november 2020 when my vehicle electrical sensor came on randomly while at a stop light and the engine died and made no sound; it would not start.
The key stuck in the ignition the engine shuts off but the accys stay oni can't remove the key

Car shut off on me while going down interstate 70 miles and hour left lane passing traffic, no power steering, brakes.thankfully a trucker saw my distress and let me over to get off interstate. This could have caused serious accident and bodily injury as air bags would not have deployed either.would not restart had to have towed, starter replaced, not the issue. Upon research it appears this has happened with several chargers and other models produced by chrysler. Appears to be a win module issue but no recalls only for the t& c . Win module is being replaced at a hearty price. Something needs to be looked into this situation as the win module is being used in newer models. And this random shutting off is a huge safety issue put appears to just keep getting pushed aside. Will have repair bills available once completed.
Both front windows have failed to go up or down. I've had the switch and the motor replaced and they still don't work

There needs be a recall for the 2010 dodge chargersxt. While driving home on the interstate, just as i'm merging on to my exit, the car shuts completely down while in motion during traffic. I had no idea that it had completely stalled until i tried to give it gas and turn the steering wheel as i was going into to a curve with cars in front of me and behind. Had to fight like [xxx] to turn the wheel and use the brakes to bring the car to a complete stop. I tried to start the engine with no success. It kept turning over making a "ru rur rur rur rur" sound which was accompanied by the smell of wires burning and a red lightning bolt that appeared on the dash. Tried to start again, it became worse. Had to have the car towed to repair shop to see what the issue is. Have not heard anything yet. Called dealership to see if they could shed some light on the subject, they reluctantly declined to do so in every way possible. The dealership i took it said they could not find the problem and suggested that it is not their problem. Dodge needs to do something asap. This [xxx] is going to get somebody killed if a recall is not issued. I'm sure i'm not the only one with this problem.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
The battery light comes on when vehicle after vehicle is running for about 20 minutes .
I received a "fix-it" warning from the nevada highway patrol due to a non working "3rd brake light". Checking the fuse and the led bulb did not solve the problem, an internet search told me to check the wire harness between the body of the vehicle and the truck lid.i noticed that several vehicles of the same type and for several year models have the same problem.when i pulled back the rubber from the wire i found 5 out of 6 wires in the harness broke in the same place.i reconnected the wires matching the color codes and this solved the problem. ( i also found out i have a trunk light !! )the local service dept and also dodge customer service denied there was an issue and did not accept responsibility.

Had my first problem with my 2010 dodge charger r/t ~ 6k miles on the clock. Driving down the road in ~ 5 degree f temps - the car was fully warmed up and it was around 9am in the morning, the car suddenly died, with all the error indicators coming on. Luckily i was able to get off to the side of the road as power steering and braking went out. I stopped the car, checked under the hood for some sort of visible damage. Seeing none & checking the oil level - i went to restart and found that the car wouldn't turn over. Double checked i was in park, everything was squared away - took the key out - put it back in, turned - and heard a single ignition - like one coil went off - then stopped. Tried it again, wouldn't turn over. So i call dodge roadside for a tow and sit there for 10 minutes. While waiting i decided to then try it again, then magically the starter actually goes and it turns over. I was maybe 5 miles away from the dealership - so i took it straight there where they took a look at it. For whatever reason, they were unable to duplicate the problem nor tell me why it occurred or how i can prevent this from happening in the future.
My key will not come out of the ignition after running the car. I have to pull out the fuse #8 in the trunk and i hear a click and it resets and then i can get the key out of the ignition turning it to the left.

Wife was driving charger when the gauges, radio, ac went hay wire and a few seconds later the car just died in heavy traffic and would not start back. Had car was towed and very costly as she was far from home. From what i could find online it sounded like the battery or alternator, removed both and had them tested and both are in good working order.

This is the second time in one year - the no. 2 cylinder has broke.the dealership can not tell me why this is happening.but they did tell me that all replacement parts are rebuilt - no new parts.that is outrageous.also, if the part goes bad and returned to chrysler/dodge - they will not make it known what the problem is to the dealership or to the consumer.. There is something wrong with the engines in the 2010 dodge chargers.they are deceiving us.

Valve seats fail
Bought my 2010 charger in 2012. Slight engine ticking when cold from day one. Worse in winter, barely noticeable in summer. As time goes by, ticking is getting worse. Checked for engine codes and nothing. Checked for oil issue and nothing. Ticking is getting more obnoxious, especially when cold. When the car warms up it fades out somewhat. Took it to the dealership after doing some research and there's a known issue with 3.5ho engines. Rocker arm issue, pins shear off, etc. Dealer confirmed this is my issue. Bad rocker arm assembly, lash adjusters. Factory part numbers end with "aa" and the new replacement parts with "ac." this is also an indication of a known issue. Ticking is on startup, louder when engine is cool. It gets better when it is warm but as of recently, it's more constant. Rocker arm assemblies need replaced on both heads, and the estimated cost is $1100. With so many people having this issue, you would think there would be a recall. Mileage is 55,446 currently. Car had 20,000 when purchased.

The car proceeds to shake and make noise
This car has been a nightmare. The automatic transmission went out at 85,000 miles and had to be completely replaced, thank fully the warranty covered it. This month i was driving to work and the car just died. I called aaa and had it towed to a total of 3 mechanics including the local dodge dealership. Final prognosis was my timing chain broke. Not from wear and tear or stretching, it just snapped. The snapping of the timing chain caused the valves to bend which lead to the entire motor being tore down and piston by piston and ultimately having the bottom end rebuilt/replaced/etc. The part that sucks is this is a recall for my motor, year, and vehicle however my vin number wasnt listed as part of the recall. So i had to pay $4000 to have my car fixed by aaa mechanic because the dodge dealer wanted $7000 to fix it.
I was driving at approximately 35mph when my car stalled. And then eventually turned off. Has not turned on since. No lights came on or warnings of any kind. Car only has 78k miles on it. Dodge is not willing to investigate why motor went out or replace it.
At approximately 95,000 mile i had my rocker arm shaft lifter assembly replaced under warranty due to a broken rocker arm and loud knocking noises coming from my engine. 10,000 miles later a rocker arm broke on the new assembly. I researched this issue and it is a know problem with dodge charger 3.5l engines. There is a defective part in the assembly that causes the rocker arm to break. People have replaced this item in their engine numerous times. The rocker arm shaft lifter assembly should be recalled. People pay over $1500 for this repair just to have faulty parts installed and have the same issue over and over again. There are multiple forums about this problem with dodge's 3.5l engine.

My 2010 dodge charger caught fire and exploded. I was sitting in it with the air conditioner running, waiting for my son. I smelled something burning, but not like plastic or the smell when it's overheating. I looked at my dash and the thermostat needle was straight up then i saw a little puff of smoke out of the corner of my eye. I popped the hood and flames shot across the windshield. I opened the door and rolled out because my seat was reclined. I could see fire under the hood, i reached back in and turned the engine off thinking maybe it would help. I grabbed my phone which was stuck to the dash with a magnet and i ran like hell!

Charged battery up and car started right up so we test from it. While driving it only a few miles we noticed that there is a strange new whining noise coming from under there hood, esp/ tration control lights came on and car died againcharged battery again and it started right up again however we are reluctant to drive it again due to this issue.sounds like alot of people in online forums are having this same issue, but yet no recalls or fix's for whatever the issue is
I was attempting to leave walmart parking lot and without warning the car died. I took it to be serviced and was told that it was giving no diagnostic codes. I picked the car up 3 days later and while bringing it home it died 3 times. I researched for reported complaints and found that this appears to be an ongoing issue. Why are these cars being sold? this is a very dangerous situation and i'm paying for a vehicle that i can't drive because there is a great risk of bodily harm or death to myself and others. This needs to be acknowledged and rectified!
Vehicle had a horrible start up sound. The engine constantly knocked and i told the shop they waited until i had to get it towed there. The engine went out and my warranty paid for it but they still chargered me for things i asked them about like the termistat and the cooling fan.... The mechanic said they was not working but my car had not check engine light and went out on the interstate
A week after purchasing my 2010 dodge charger sxt 3.5l ... I developed vibration/shaking during idle until about 900 rpm's. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and cylinder 1 was misfiring. Cylinder head, gasket, exhaust manifold were replaced. Then went the egr valve, that was then replaced. The shaking is still current and i am able to not get any answers. There has to be a recall that is not being announced. I have read many people having the shake issue on their same model and year as well.

There's a open recall for my 2010 dodge charger r/t & i took it to cueter chrysler dodge jeep ram. They had it for 8 days & had not touched the car since i dropped it off. They said they were waiting on parts now it's been 16 days & have not gotten any word back. What am i supposed to do. The recalls are for the passenger airbag & the engine timing chain which is very serious in my opinion but must not be to them.

When filling the fuel tank of this vehicle, the fuel tank accepts only a very small amount of gasoline at a time, approximately one-tenth of a gallon at a time. Although the gas tank on the car is far from full, the person fueling the tank then continues to squeeze the handle on the gasoline spigot, but the tank rejects the gasoline and the gasoline spills out onto the car body, the person and the ground beneath the vehicle. I have experienced this problem with a number of 2010 dodge chargers rented at various locations across the country over the last nine months. This may be a filler tube venting problem.

Takata recall my dodge is fairly new. A 2010 and the gas gauge has completely stopped reading correctly. It'll die when it reads there's a quarter of a tank left or even when it says there is half a tank left. I've been in multiple situations when the car has died and i read a lot of forums with people the same make model having this issue.
Takata recall, driving at highway speed the vehicle will supply shut off and after stopping vehicle will start up like normal. Has happen at stoplights and when turning, happens randomly. Not safe at all.
I have 2 problems first problem is the gas tank the filler tube on the gas tank is not working right you can not put gas in tank until the gas tank is half full if you try to fill it at 3/4 full it will not go in tank it keeps clicking off the gas hose.second the wire harness from alternator was attach to the exhaust manifold from factory and the wires burned up the dealer cut the wires and tape them back together and the lights on the whole car blink off an on all the time this is bad i am afraid of a fire the dealer ship will do nothing i have been fighting with them since i brought the car new in 2011 you can not use the car at night because of the light blinking off and on.
An overwhelming smell of gas starting around 9/6/14.i took my car to the dealership for the standard oil change and advised that i smelled gas.they indicated that when changing the oil they would perform a preliminary check. At that time they didn't notice any visible leaks and scheduled me an appointment to bring the car back in on 9/15/14 if the car still smelled of gas and did not go away.the smell eventually went away, but start noticing anytime the car was filled up with gas the smell would returnon 9/30/14 filled the car up with gas and by the time i made it home it was pouring gas near the left passenger rear. Further observation showed that there is a leak in the gas line. I have scheduled in appointment to take it back to he dealership with the 1st available appointment 10/8/14.i was advised to not drive as the car can possibly ignite.it is now parked in the garage.it is hot. Not sure if the garage should be opened to give air or if opening the garage will allow sunlight that may could cause fumes to ignite.the garage smells of gas and the fumes are now in my home.do we know of any issues with the dodge charger and gas line leaks.
My car had a check engine light so i went to an official dodge dealer to fix. They claimed it was a faulty valve in my fuel system and charged me $470 to fix.since fixed, i filled up my gas tank and now whenever i enter my car, it smells of raw fuel.after driving for about 10 minutes, the smell goes away, but i have found many different people are complaining about it.i took it back to the dealer and they could not determine the reason it was smelling like gasoline..i did not track fuel into my car and was not storing fuel in my trunk.the car did not smell like fuel before the initial repair.
Dodge dealership told us over 600 fuel pumps for the 2010 charger were back ordered and that we would have to wait to get a replacement part for mine. 600 back ordered fuel pumps sounds like a common enough issue that may potentially need to be a recall. My 2010 charger will not start unless this fuel pump is replaced.

The contact's wife owns a 2010 dodge charger. The contact stated that upon depression of the brake pedal, the shifter lever made an abnormal clicking sound when shifting gears, without warning. The contact linked the noise to a defective transmission shifter interlock lever. The vehicle had yet to be serviced or diagnosed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vin was not under recall. The contact was then referred to nhtsa for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.
Power accelerator and brake pedal movement system has a toggle switch on the drivers side seat that is easily caught by a jacket or a coat.this causes the accelerator pedal to move towards you while driving and in turn causes the vehicle to accelerate faster because your foot is still on the accelerator.the toggle switch to move these pedals forward or back away from the driver needs to be relocated to the dash or inoperable when the vehicle is in the drive position.

I had help to get it offthe main road and asked for a jump start the car started up and ten minutes into the battery light came on again and the car killed. Called a tow man due to the risk level of not knowing when the car will kill again and most importantly where if i did the jump started again. Replaced the alternator/battery but issue remains with battery light coming on and shortly after car kills. A slight difference is the replaced battery allowed car to remain driven longer before it kills. Battery light comes on two to four minutes later car kills. (replaced battery) battery light comes on fifteen/twenty minutes later car kill.
The wiring harness coming out of the transmission burnt and also the wire's going to the o2 sensor burnt.
I was driving normally about 20 mphand i made a sharp turn and the engine shut off the power steering shut down there was a chime and the oil light turned on. I put the car in park and was able to start it up again. I hear and read that is a constant problem among consumers.
The contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. The contact stated that the vehicle was involved in a crash. The failure mileage was 39,700 and the current mileage was 39, 974.
Takata recall.bad noise coming front under the front of the car when go over a small bump sounds like somethings going to break. Engine light tire pressure light and traction control like won't go off. Took it to multiple shops and i get a different story every time.. Traction control like came on one day and i can't go over 60mph without the car shuddering violently and losing a little bit of power.
While driving down the road all the park reverse neutral and drive lights started having flashing squares around them and a 8 appeared at the end of them.then the transmission started getting stuck at high speed and nearly made me loose control.
I am not able to put my car in gear from park. I will have my foot on the break and shift to reverse or drive and it won't budge at all. It acts like it's locked up. What is causing this. This never happened to me until i had the air bags replaces for the air bag recall.

The contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. While driving and making a left turn into a service area, the vehicle turned off. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to keffer chrysler jeep dodge ram (located at 8214 e independence blvd, charlotte, nc 28227, (704) 532-1050) where it was diagnosed that the battery, power train control module, and alternator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was currently being repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.
I recently rented a 2010 dodge charger with power seats.none of the adjusting buttons are marked.at the front side corner of the seat is a toggle button.while driving the vehicle; i moved this button to adjust the seat which i thought was logical.this button has nothing to do with the power seats.this button when activated raises and lowers the gas pedal position and brake pedal position.it can be activated while the vehicle is in motion.the result of this is that the acceleration and braking can be increased or decreased unexpectedly.i believe this to be a design flaw that could result in a serious accident.at the least; it should not be possible to move these pedals while the vehicle is in motion.no accident resulted; but it is very disorienting at highway speed.
The contact had not experienced a failure however, if the vehicle was not repaired, the shifter interlock lever may become inoperable. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vin was not under recall. The contact was then referred to nhtsa for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.
Takata recall:i have a 2010 dodge charger which since 2.5 years ago i've been having issues with the front end of the vehicle. I have replaced all the parts dealing with the suspension. I've purchased the car in 2014. In 2016 i've replaced the front end parts.2017 same thing. It's now 2018 it's making the same exact noise once again.i love my car. But with these same issues year after year have to be a recall on the front end suspension.
My esp keeps coming on and it's been changed. The clear coat is peeling off in different spots of my vehicle and i've notioced that other vehicles with the same year as mines is doing the samething. My co-worker has the same year as i do and was wondering if she got a lemon and i asked her what year she had and we both have a 2010 dodge charger

Having the same problem with my brakes as nhtsa recall ref. #12v197000 that 119,000 2011 dodge charger where recalled for the same reason as my car there is only 4 months between my car and the recalli have spend over $500 on new brake booster and master cylinder the recall states that abs need to be relocated because of over heating and u lose all your brakes it is my wife car and can cause a accident please help me with this problem dodge is saying it not on recall list
The contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the brakes seized. I have had the car for 2 years and already have replaced both outer tie rod ends. When is it considered a lemon?
The contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. The contact received a voluntary recall notification from the manufacturer associated with the power steering hose. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they informed the contact that the part needed to make repairs was on a massive backorder. The manufacturer and dealer were unable to provide an approximate date for the availability of the recalled part. The contact had not experienced a failure.
This december 2011, i have owned the car for two years.it has stalled in traffic three times while turning to the left and once while turning to the right.it felt like the vehicle had run out of gasoline, however there was plenty of gasoline.i have avoided three collisions, the last two because i was able to restart the vehicle quickly, due to experience.i have taken the vehicle to the dealer ("redlands dodge" california) however they say the computer has no record and of the problem and they can't recreate the problem. I have found on the "internet" several sites of owners of the same vehicle and year with the same problem.this problem is not being addressed by dodge because the dealership told me there is no fix at this time or recall.
From the time we bought this car, it feels like the front end is going to come out from underneath it. At 65 mph its shakes voilently. Replaced both outer tie rods. Replaced all 4 tires due to uneaven wear. Going back to the shop this week to see whats next to fix. For the longest time, i thought the dealership sold me a totalled car. But after reading all the complaints abought the 2010 dodge chargers, looks like dodge put out a piece of crap car for that year. I would not suggest anyone buying one of these, unless you have the money to feed the shop.
In 2011 i purchased this 2010 dodge charger from a dealer located in paramus nj. The vehicle was purchased as a certified used vehicle. After about 2 weeks of ownership, i began to notice a slight pull of the steering wheel in the vehicle to the right. I had to maintain constant left pressure on the wheel in order to keep the vehicle traveling straight. I then noticed that when i depressed the break at approximately 60 mph the vehicle violently shook. I also noticed a noisy that was coming from the right front wheel area as if there was a part that was rubbing and would fall off. I immediately contacted the dealer and advised them of the issue. They did set an appointment up for me to address the issue. After taking the vehicle to the dealer they advised me that they found nothing wrong with the suspension and that the vehicle was fine. I took the vehicle and returned it to my garaging area. Later on in the month, i noticed that the same issue was occurring once again and i then decided that i needed to call the dealer again. They told me that there was nothing wrong and looked at the car again. About 2 months later i began noticing the issue once again, only this time to find that there was also an issue with noise coming from the steering column, the noise sounded as a windshield wiper against a dry glass. I decided that i would take the car to my personal mechanic. My mechanic advised me that there was an issue with the tie rod ends and that they were a known problem. He stated that the steering column as well and that they both required replacement. I had the tie rod ends replaced in november of 2012 we are now in 2013 and i am once again being told that the tie rod ends are bad and require replacement. I am constantly forced to maintain left pressure on the steering wheel. This is a problem that needs to be recalled. Please investigate.
While driving i began to experience hearing a knocking noise coming from the right front passenger side of car. This problem was first noted several days after purchasing from dealer. Dealer was notified and advised the problem would be taken care of. Received the vehicle back and no noise. Several months later same noise vehicle was taken back to dealer because along with the noise the tires on vehicle was worn irregularly. The dealer refused to repair issue. Goodyear inspected vehicle and advised that the tires and alignment was severly off. I was advised by goodyear that vehicle appears to be ok but is known to have suspension issue. Recently i took vehicle for tire rotation and was advised that outer tie rod ends are loose and required immediate repair. This explained my inability to steer effectively and knocking noise which returns.

The contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. While driving 60 mph, the throttle body and electric power steering warning indicators illuminated. Afterwards, the vehicle automatically slow down from 60 to 40 mph. Grainger honda (1596 chatham pkwy, savannah, ga 31408, (888) 229-4632) diagnosed the vehicle, but could not find a failure. The contact believed the failure was due to the electrical system. The manufacturer was not notified. The vin was unknown. The failure mileage was 92,000.
My dodge charger r/t has had repeated sunroof leaks, the headliner looks awful and the sunroof was replaced a month ago and i'm still having problems, but now its on the other side of the vehicle.i'm tired of paying monthly for a vehicle to be put in the shop for a week at a time to fix a problem that is still a problem.i want dodge to buy this vehicle back and they can make the payments.
The contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning. The abs indicator illuminated without warning and the vehicle completely lost power. The contact stated that the vehicle was also severely rusted and corroded underneath the steering wheel panel, which created an unbearable odor inside the vehicle. The odor created a breathing issue for the contact, which required medical attention. Jeep, dodge, ram of ontario, california was made aware of the failure and replaced the motor and alternator, but the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the vehicle was out of warranty coverage and the rust odor would not be covered. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and referred the contact to the dealer. The contact purchased a three year power train warranty from a third party, but the warranty was not honored by the dealer due to a 7 year warranty expiration date. The failure mileage was approximately 137,000. The vin was not available.

The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was told that the vehicle was designed for the driver and not the passenger. The contact also noticed rust on the spoiler of the trunk. The vehicle had not been repaired. The vin was unavailable. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000 and the current mileage was approximately 16,000.
Rear seat door passenger side handle will not allow door to open from the inside....
While driving my 2010 dodge charger r/t i was stopped at stop light. When the light turned green i accelerated, immediately after i started accelerating a noise and clunking feel happened. I maintained a very slow speed because of not knowing what the issue was. I was able to pull into the first parking lot i could easily access. Again not knowing what the issue was but knowing that there was a different physical appearance to the rear of my vehicle and also how it drove while finding a parking location i had the vehicle towed to a trusted mechanic. Once on the lift we were able to see that the rear sub-frame bushings had completely separated from themselves. Being that i was going at a slow rate of speed the situation was kept under control, but had i been going at a higher rate of speed as i often do on my daily commute i am unsure if this would have turned out to be as controlled as it was. The impression my mechanic gave was that this was a catastrophic failure of a part that should not fail at this point of a vehicles life.after the initial assessment of the vehicle i did have it towed to a chrysler dealership to do their assessment. I have also contact chrysler multiple times and have been given little to no information on this particular issue other than that the engineers are looking at it. I did do some research and was able to find that other owners of the dodge charger, challenger and chrysler 300 have had similar issues. Most of which were situations where owners replaced the bushings with stronger aftermarket parts prior to failure but it does seem to be a more common concern among owners.i know that i am just one person reporting an issue but my main concern currently is that at a higher rate of speed i do not know if the outcome would have been as controlled, and that is very concerning to me as i do have a family with small children.

Continue to have flat tires on 2010 dodge charger.valve stems leak.air pressure sensor is attached to valve stem.
We have three 2010 police package dodge chargers on our department.all three we have had problems with the valve stems leaking.each time this happens we have to replace the whole stem.the air pressure sensor is attached to the valve stem.this is a safety concern in my opinion.if your going at a high rate of speed to a call and the stem comes apart you will more than likely wreck your patrol car.our state highway patrol is having the same problem.if you contact the dodge chrysler dealerships they will tell you the same thing.why can't the sensor go on a band that is attached to the center of the wheel as they have done in the past.
"takata recall"about april 2014 my car steering wheel felt tight so i pulled across the street from my house in the parking lot check the engine , oil power steering ,everything was full well the next week my car was in a accident my car had jerked to the right in a alley way i the only one in the car an all my air bags diploid it has already had an investigation on the vehicle since then threw dodge they said it was my air bags and electrical but they wanted to have a double check on ect,

While driving at 50 mph my car shut off with no warning i looked it up online many other people have had the same incident happen to them i feel it's very serious matter
The car proceeds to shake and make noise
I brought a vehicle with a rolled back odometorand the check engine light was caulked over so you could not see it was on.after i brought the car from an individual it failed emission testing. My mechanic discovered the check engine light was cualked. I decided to look up the vin online and saw the car was sold at auction on 9/25/17 on the odometor read 199955. It was also on title as 99,000. The car lost 100,000 on the odometor in 2 weeks. Title showing 99,000 is atached.
The vehicle caught fire while i was sitting with my car running parked.
Approximately 8 months or so ago i had to replace my battery because it was "too weak" for my car. I did so and everything was fine until about a month ago when i tried starting my car and it took about 5 minutes for me to finally start it, it was stationary. I came home with my eyes stinging and swollen and this only happened when i was in the car. Upon further investigation i realized the battery blew up and there was battery acid all over my trunk. I went online to see if it was common and i have seen several forums of people complaining about their batteries blowing up. This is a serious safety hazard for the driver and passengers in the vehicle. I don't know if it is a problem with the car itself or the battery, but i do think this needs to be addressed. The battery is a duralast battery.
The "win" module on my 2010 dodge charger srt8 is having the defects associated on other 2010 regular chargers but isn't on the recall list .. Why is that ?

I was attempting to leave walmart parking lot and without warning the car died. I took it to be serviced and was told that it was giving no diagnostic codes. I picked the car up 3 days later and while bringing it home it died 3 times. I researched for reported complaints and found that this appears to be an ongoing issue. Why are these cars being sold? this is a very dangerous situation and i'm paying for a vehicle that i can't drive because there is a great risk of bodily harm or death to myself and others. This needs to be acknowledged and rectified!

The tire trackson light came on in 2014 i have had a set of new tires put on twice and get the oil and tires rotating every 4 months and the light has yet to go off and they can't tell me why the light is staying on and says low tire pressure. I am really scared to drive it because i don't want the wheels to lock or something else and causes me a bad accident,so i really don't drive it anymore because of that, so could you please look off into it and let me and others know if it's any danger to it. Thanks
I had a flat tire and tried to remove it and put the spare on but could not get the lugs nuts off because the tire wrench no longer fit them. I had to get car transported to dodge dealership by flat bed.when we got there the service manager told me this was a common problem on dodge chargers, challengers, and chrysler 300's. The lug nut is manufactured in two parts, and the outer part swells making the lug nut defective. So therefore the dealership had to pry them off. When they checked the other lug nuts they were all bad due to a defective design. Even though this is a product of dodge and therefore their fault and well known problem they charged me over $350.00 to replace all of these lug nuts. I feel this part should be recalled because it is unsafe and could possibly cause me to be stranded somewhere if i have a flat tire, because i cannot change it myself due to this defect. I am thankful that this happened in my driveway or else i would be stuck in the middle of nowhere with no way of putting the spare on. I feel i should be reimbursed for this faulty design. Thank you in advance for addressing this problem.
