They service department is stating the hitch is the issue however the hitch has been replaced 6 times. I am unsure if this is an recall issue or not however i am extremely concerned that i will not survive an accident or the air bag will deploy in a minor situation causing severe damage or death. I bought this car for 11,000 in september of 2019, since having this vehicle i had and have many issues with this car. October my sterotouch screen stop working and my gas tank needed to be replaced. I got it fix for over 500.00 the following month my key fob sensor went out and this was the in the month of november. The vehicle is a dodge challenger supposed to be an sxton the car fax but in person the motor is not a sxt this vehicle has no original parts of dodge. The challenger has aftermarket wires, headlights from asia, and wires every by the motor where open wires should not supposed to be witch is unsafe to drive off the lot. The challenger airbags plus other mechanical mechanics issues was reported from brandon dodge dealership witch qld was aware of and did not resolve the issue before selling me the dodge charger even my seatbelts is unsafe. The month of january, 2020 i was driving my car on the interstate and my car just shut off i had to drive to autozone i got a new battery that same month i approached the manager of qld and informed him with everything that's going on with thevehicle the manager responded that's a personal matterand i was left on my on to care of this car that i can not afford to fix a and pay formonthly vehicle that is not reliable. March 27, 2020 i was driving from my apartment complex and my power steering pump fell out of the bottom of my vehicle i later on that day got the car lifted and to found out the power steering pump was zipped tied and not secured to a bracket. I feel that this company is just looking for a dollar and do not care about what type of dangerous unsafe hazardous vehicles they are selling to customers who are unaware of these issues.

I have been told now 3 different times parts are not available even though letters that i received states that parts are in. It's now been 4 months. I just do not think they want to bother with it. Smart glass draining battery, takata inflator recall, timing chain recall and alternator recallin dec 2017 my dodge challenger 13' ran out of battery & was towed to a repair shop. There were 2 recalls, one being an alternator, causing the battery to drain and not able to be jumped. After 1.5 months of talking to chrysler fca recalls about how to get the recall work complete, my car arrived at covert dodge in austin in jan 2018 (i paid for tow out of pocket). From dec to mar 20th, i was without a car and covert /fca would not put me in a rental while waiting on back ordered parts. On mar 20th, they put me in a rental vehicle. Apr 20th fca called to tell me: 1) all 3 recalls have been addressed 2) the smart glass window module, which is actually what is causing the battery to drain, is still on backorder (eta may 29, but not a firm eta and this part has been on backorder since jan) but the car can be driven without operable windows, 3) i need to return the rental in 2 days and pick up my car. I stated that it is unsafe to drive a car with inoperable windows (getting pulled over and having to open my door to talk to the police, extremely hot weather in texas and not being able to open the windows, little kids and car sickness, unable to use drive-through anything, etc). The service manager stated that he can't comment on safety, but the car is drivable. The case manager at fca said that she can only address safety concerns in bulletins from fca. The smart glass window module has been on back order for me since jan 2018 and no confirmed eta. This part has been recalled on 2012 and 2011 challenger and multiple other mopar part cars. There is a long list of people waiting for this part (probably 1000s), many due to a recall. In the meantime, i'm expected to use my car without working windows - meaning windows have to be closed and can not open.

The vehicle was in motion on the highway. The vehicle unexceptdly stopped accelerating on the highway causing me to put my hazard lights on as cars were iniin motion at a 70mph speed limit. Recall sent to home p60 / nhtsa 14v-634 for 160-am alternatorproblem: the alternator diodes in your vehicle may experience rapid failure.variability in the failure mode ranges from no output, reduced output, and/or a fully shorted to ground condition.dependent on the alternator failure mod and timing, vehicle electrical system voltage may drop to critical levels, disabling systems such as antilock brake system, electronic stability control, electronic control module and/or central body controller.the driver will have limited or no detection of the alternator failing, which can result in vehicle shutdown while driving and/or an under-hood electrical fire. Chrysler intends to repair your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor)however, the parts required to provide a permanent remedy for this condition are currently not available.chrysler is making every effort to obtain these parts as quickly as possible.will contact you again by mail, with a follow-up recall notice, when the remedy parts are available.i contacted chrysler today to see about alternate transportation 800-853-1403 and was told that none was being provided at this time and that our vehicle was safe to drive. This is an irresponsible response, considering the items listed above in the recall such as electrical fire and failure for the vehicle to operate and control abs etc. During driving.i informed the chrysler representative that this was not acceptable to put our family member behind the wheel and that this was chrysler's burden to repair in a timely manner or provide transportation.we cannot and should not have to pay for a vehicle that is unsafe to drive. Other people go on to drive their recalled vehicles, only to have accidents and unfortunately death due to these recalls; (recent chevrolet ignition issues etc.)

The smart glass will cycle up and down 1/4 inch, while the ignition is off. This is happening on both the driver and passenger doors, causing the windows to go up and down which then causes the battery to drain while parked overnight. There was a 2011-12 dodge challenger smart glass technical service bulletin put out for older models, which replaced the door latches causing this issue. However, it is still an issue in my 2013 challenger. Dodge knew of this issue and still installed the same parts in later models. They should do the right thing, and issue a recall or tsb, and take care of this issue for their customers!

My son was driving this car going back to college on the i 49. He noticed smoke coming out of the trunk. He stopped, opened the trunk and it was on fire. Luckily he had a bottle of water and put the fire out. In the process he burnt his hand (minor burn). He called the fire department who showed up and told him that the battery or wiring had shorted out and caused a battery meltdown and a fire in the trunk. His clothes and speakers were burnt. The car is now sitting at the dodge dealership in alexandria la. Dodge was contacted and so far has denied any manufacturing defect. This car is one year old. I know that there was a recall on this type vehicle last year. This may be related. I am afraid that even when repaired this may happen again. This is very unsafe and dodge should take responsibility for their vehicles.

On this date 7/3/17 my husband and daughter were visiting the library when our vehicle stalled. Thankfully they were in a safe location and had just parked. Prior to leaving the house my husband noticed a whistling sound coming from the hood of the vehicle. After the car stalles the vehicle was towed to our home. It was later identified that the alteenator has gone out. It was replaced. Now mpving forward to 9/6/2017 my husband and i recieve a recall notice in the mail from nhtsa stating in bold print and great detail that prompt action to repair this vehicle is needed. The recall notice also gave direction on how the dealer and nhtsa must rectify the situation in a timely manner. Action on our end was taken and my husband took the risk of driving the vehicle to a dealer sure that the issue would ve rectified. Now the part to remedy this recall is currently unavailable and no accomadation on either nhtsa or any dodge dealerahip has been given to my family. This is risking a vehicle being driven on a road that was stated in bold print detailing the severity of the issue and the risk of injury and crash. Yet noone is concerned about the saftey of its customers. All that is veing asked is that a rental vehicle be accomatated until the recall is fixed. The recall states the vehicle must be repaired yet how am i suppose to continue on with getting my children to and from school and my husband and self to work. I am extremely concerned and upset that nothing is veing dobe to ensure the saftey and lives of your customers. Your taking the risk of injury with a unsafe vehicle on the road. And would greatly appreciate promt attention on this matter

As i was driving on the free way, i noticed my check engine light came on. At first i thought it may have been a minute issue. However, my car started jerking, declining speed ,and became hesitate to continue motion as if the power of my car was about to stop. After ten minutes the engine light went off as i continued to drive the car at a reducing speed. However, the light came back on and the symptoms continued again. At this time i'm very concerned that my car needs to be on the recall as this is a serious issue. My light is still on as of 3/6/2017.

Car caught on fire as i was driving it this was 4 hours after i picked it up from the dealership for getting the tourque converter fixed. I think this is an electrical problem that caused it. I was driving in a parking lot only going 7-10 mph. Dallas pd doesn't come out if it's on private property i am still waiting my fire report in the mail. I have unsure claim numbers from 3 different people. (chrystler. National general insurance. Harco national insurance.)

Electrical system: alternator::once push to start ignition is activated vehicle will begin to run and then stall without warning. It has stalled while driving down the street almost nearly causing an collision! vehicle has stalled more than 10 times since purchase. Battery checked and was checked and passed x3 checks. Alternator was checked and voltage reg failed x3.

Window started rolling down about 1/4 inch (draining battery so i bought a new battery) and then other issues started occurring. Check engine light came on(while starting the car) then went off, (i had just put the car in park and turned it off), 5 mins later i turned it back on and window will not roll down at all now. As soon as the went stopped completely other things such as performance and brakes seemed to be hesitant.

I have a 2013 dodge challenger with 45,000 miles and the driver window goes up and down by itself once the car is powered off. It is only supposed to do that when you open and close the door. Why does dodge not have a recall on this issue? it causes my battery to go down overnight.

Several months ago i received a recall notice (p60/nhtsa 14v634) stating due to problems with the alternator the car could lose power while driving and/or catch on fire under the hood.also stated there were no parts to correct the situation. On the night of feb 26 i started the car in the parking lot of a store close to home and heard an unusual sound from under the hood. Was already moving so i drove the half mile home pulled in garage and opened the hood. The alternator was smoking heavily. I pulled the car out of the garage turned it off, called the chrysler recall line and they set up towing to the nearest dealership for the next morning.it took 2 hours for the alternator to quit smoking.the next morning the electrical system was completely dead.no power anywhere for anything. I called service department of elk grove chrysler and talked to a service manager about the car coming in on a flat bed.was advised that it sounded like the recall problem and they would take care of it and that i couldn't get a loaner because i hadn't taken out the extended coverage..??he said the fix may only trake the one day anyway so no need for a loaner.the fix took 2 days.picked the car up and seems ok.the only problem is that it was fixed with the same type of alternator that the recall is for.still no alternators available that have the problems corrected so i' right back where i started or worse, this website now shows my car as being fixed and having no applicable recalls. I don't trust my car, not sure i trust chrysler at this point.

I was driving my car like normal for the past 2/12 years.it's a 2013 challenger 5.70. My car went dead while driving. I lost control of the car, but, thank god i didn't hit anything or anyone. I ran tests on my car battery, it's good. Interesting note: i had the alternator replace six months ago on a factory recall. The dodge dealer told me it's not the alternator, though replaced it anyway. They said it's the power steering pump and electric problem due to a wire not communicating to the bus or computer. (don't know what that means i'm not a car guy) however, i also own a 2006 chrysler 300 that did the same thing to me on the freeway while i was driving 70 mph. Could have died both times.at this point, i don't know it dodge is simply making cheap parts or dodge service is trying to turn a 2nd alternator replacement into a profit. I say this because i was able to disconnect the batter, then reconnect it to pull forward on the tow truck now they are telling me the car dies when they reassemble it.i also say this because they are telling me the pump is damaged yet i'v had work done there before with no indication of a problem.i've had work and repairs done including smog checks within the last year with no negative readings indicating a problem or miscommunication. I see recalls on the electric system, power steering pump and alternator yet none based on my vin. Meanwhile browning dodge wants to charge me $1800 bucks.

In october 2018, i went to your dealership (planet ford) located in humble texas.i purchase (debit card) two vehicles off of the lot.i purchased a dodge challenger 2019 (hemi v8 rt), and chevrolet tahoe 2007. I was told that the dodge challenger since it had less than 50,000 miles had a bumper to bumper coverage still with dodge. I started having mechanical problems with the dodge challenger.i spoke with steward (who sold me the extended warranty) at planet ford in humble, texas and was told to take it to texan dodge.i was told that the vehicle had multiple engine problems and it would require another engine to be put into the car.in december, i picked the car up and had to pay $160.00 deductible. I lost time from work, and ended up being fired. In december 2018, the vehicle suffered a throttle problem.again, i had to pay $ 114.00 deductible after the vehicle was released (after a week).now, january 2019, i have an oil leak.i went into texan dodge and spoke to mrs. Sheffie (after calling her multiple times), and she told me that i might have to pay another deductible and that the car had prior issues when i bought the vehicle.i told her that the vehicle had a new engine that texan dodge (their dealership) put in and also worked on the faulty throttle in 2018.she told me that she want sure if planet ford (with the extended warranty) would cover the oil leak.i also found out that a prior claim was put on the vehicle before i purchased the vehicle in october 2018. Not only am i getting the run around, but i know that according to the prior insurance claim that was put on the vehicle that planet ford was aware of the damages to the vehicle.i also paid 2 times for deductibles and now the vehicle still has an oil leak.thank you.

Unfair monetary harm to customers due to defective part. Same issue as many have mentioned on here with driver's side window repeatedly going up and down without stopping while stationary with car off, which drains the battery and you can't stop it. My 2013 challenger had a bad window latch, causing the battery to die (left stranded). Had to pay $300 out of pocket for dealer to replace latch for 'smart glass' that isn't necessary. Recall already issued on the 2011s, yet recalls haven't been issued for newer models despite same problems. I'm thankful for nhtsa and hoping dodge is held accountable.

This vehicle has been under recall since november and the dealer has not even fixed the problem.

This car has been a complete nightmare, and the worst car i have ever owned. When i first bought it was taken to the shop within the first month and they replaced the oil sending unit, then this year when driving at highway speed and when accelerating with the rpm going above 3 the car would loose power. I took it to the shop again and they didn't fix it but updated the transmission which resolved the problem for a little while. Well today the transmission started again doing the same thing. I will have to take this car back into the shop. I've owned this car since it was new and it currently has 60,250 miles. I was always a dodge fan but i think this car has changed me to a different brand.

Car stalled on highway without warning, not even a check engine light. Car would not restart. Car was fixed by dodge do to a faulty tip computer. Car again stalled after repair on 03/22/2015.

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. While operating the window switch, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was unable to restart and the contact mentioned that the vehicle needed to be recharged. The failure recurred multiple times. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 59,000.

Vehicle warning lights started coming on...esc, abs, brakes, dashboard went dark no radio or nav.power steering failed.was able to bring vehicle to a safe stop... Vehjicle was completely dead..will not start again...

The left cylinder head recall on my 2013 dodge challenger makes my car mis fire very bad

I recently purchased my 2013 dodge challenger less than 2 years ago and now the car has been misfiring giving me various error codes while i am driving on the freeway and on the roads. The dealership that i purchased the vehicle from, acura of fremont, has not returned my calls. The vehicle has given me the p0132 and recently p0300 error code. I took it to my local chrysler and dodge dealership in san leandro, ca and they said they can't find an issue wrong with the vehicle even though they saw the p0300 error code and the car shaking immensely. I told the representative that i do not feel safe in the vehicle after i felt the strong shaking and the engine light blinking making dinging sounds and ticking sounds. They kept the vehicle overnight to try again in the morning and they said they found no issue on the vehicle. The next day, the car starts jerking on the freeway slipping in power causing the car to shake. After researching, there is a problem in this specific year and model that i have, a cylinder head misfire that they are not addressing.

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger.the contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle by shifting into park and pushing the start button. In addition, the contact stated that two months later, there was an intermittent clicking noise emitting from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v634000 (electrical system) however, the part needed to repair the vehicle was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 13,000.

Oct. 30,2018 wile making a 15 mph. Left turn on to las vegas blvd.in my 2013dodge challenger sxt. Tik noise valve inside motor smock oil and no power

Takata recallengine stallinggiving code p0369 and p0365 cam shaft position sensor bank 1.very dangerous as car will stall when driving without notice and could lead to a very bad accident. Took it to shop twice same issue..

The vehicle was in motion on the highway. The vehicle unexceptdly stopped accelerating on the highway causing me to put my hazard lights on as cars were iniin motion at a 70mph speed limit. I was able to pull over on the side of the road. I turned the car off in an attempt to turn the car back on. The car wouldn't turn back on and the car became disabled. I had to have my car towed.

Automatic lights stopped working. Dealer says the light assembly is bad and needs to be replaced and it is a $800+ part. I have searched and there are many dodge owners with different years that have the same issue. This seems to be a dodge related issue.

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. The contact stated that the side running lights located on the front vender and quarter panel had malfunctioned. While changing the light bulbs it was discovered that the bulbsockets had burned and melted. The cause of the failure was not determined. Also while driving at various speeds the vehicle would erroneously increase speed and decrease speed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer randy marion chrysler located at 601 gaither rd, statesville, nc 28625 who diagnosed that the wheel sensors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Also after shifting to the park position and pressing the stop button the engine would not immediately shut off. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 130,000.

Takata recall windows on driver side keeps clicking makeing the window go up and down with the car not running or the keys not in the car which cause the car to completely shut off so i had the car towed to the shop which was dodge jeep off of 10th and shadeland last year this time and now the problem is back again they kept my car almost three week and then i pick the car back up and the problem was still there and i was charge 700.00 for a problem that is still not fixed and also the door is hard to open also very heavy.

2013 dodge challenger srt89000 miles, break stop lights all 3 in rear, stopped working due to faulty break light pedal switch is faulty and needed to be replaced. There was no warning lights in the car notifying me i had no break lights. I was driving and almost seriously rear ended by a car from behind. The driver told me i had no break lights and could not tell i was stopped or breaking. This is a serious, dangerous condition and needs to be investigated.

Since the vehicle was purchased on february 2013, we noticed that the fuel indicator would never show a full tank of gas. It would stop at 3/4. However, when you turn off the engine, especially around a 1/2 of a tank, the gauge would register 1/4 tank. On 4/29/2013, my spouse noticed the check engine light and we decided to take the car to the dealer. The onboard computer showed 68 miles to empty and we needed to travel 30 miles. As soon as we entered the freeway, the car stalled and would not start. It had to be towed to the dealer. Dealer replaced the sending or (ascending) unit. The vehicle only had 1275 miles on the odometer. On 1 may 2013 we picked up the vehicle and my wife drove it home, i followed in a chase vehicle. That night she complained of headaches(not normal for my spouse). The next morning, 2 may 2013, i open the door of the vehicle to place safety seats and was overcome by the noxious fuel fumes. My wife decided to drive the vehicle to work and could not make it there due to the fumes getting worse. She pulled over and had the vehicle towed to the dealership. Their fix was to use odor neutralizer which now renders the vehicle unserviceable. One cannot stand the smell. My spouse fears they care may combust at the first sign of an open flame and is afraid to drive the vehicle. Dealer will not entertain any ideas of checking o-ring seals.

Fuel link at the rear on left; odor of fuel consumes the vehicle. This is a serious issue reported from many challenger and charger owners!!!!!!! mechanics states its faulty fuel tank that leaks and/or seals on fuel pumps.

We had one of our 2013 dodge charger ppv fail to crank. After determining that engine was not getting fuel, we removed fuel pumps.we found drivers side fuel pump electrical connector had gotten so hot that it melted top pump cover and created a fuel leak. This condition happened inside fuel tank which seems like it could have caused a fuel tank fire. We replace both fuel pumps with new cover. We have 7 of these vehicles but this is the only incident that we are aware of so far. I do have old part and pictures.

The car leak gas if i put more than 10.00 in it..

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. The contact stated that the driver's side window rolled up and down independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer informed the contact that the vehicle year was not included in the manufacturer repair for the driver's door latch replacement. The manufacturer advised that the driver's door latch caused the driver's window to roll up and down independently. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 81,776.

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. While accelerating from a stop, the vehicle hesitated and unknown warning sensors illuminated. Also, when turning the vehicle, it seemed as if it would shut off. Lastly, when switching gears, the vehicle hesitated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (miami lakes automall, 16600 nw 57th ave, miami lakes, fl, 33014) to be serviced for an unknown alternator recall. The contact was informed of the failure, but no diagnosis was provided. The manufacturer was not contacted or made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

At first the car wouldn't start sof i had to.pump the brakes and force it to start up. Then i get it the vehicle and it is going nuts the lights are check engine light. It goes from full to empty and it's says the tcm is out or needs service

Pilot bearing failure due to misalignment of transmission shafts causing vibrations in drive wheels causing possible loss of traction.

Was travelling on the freeway at about 55 to 60 mph, began to gently accelerate to pass car going in same direction on freeway. Suddenly the engine rpm increased rapidly, but car did not speed up, then suddenly it appeared to slam into gear. Person travelling in passenger seat began to look all around as he thought we had been hit. Again, this does not occur with pedal to the floor acceleration, just normal driving.car has done this many times before, it slams back into gear so hard it stalls the engine. Once in a curve it caused the vehicle to spin out.. I have taken it to dealer twice before but was not able to demonstrate the problem. On last visit i took transmission guy from dealer with me and was able to get the vehicle to do a slight version of what it does at highway speeds. He stated that he wanted to check the k2 valve. He told me that he had 5 vehicles that he had found problems with the seals. Car is currently in the dealer having this checked.

About 25% of the time, while driving on a city street at 40 mph and gradually pressing the accelerator to begin a climb up a slight hill, the engine rpm and vehicle speed will not increase, and the vehicle will continue to run at 40 mph with accelerator position increasing from 10% to 80%. During this throttle response failure, the auto stick shift was used to downshift from 4th to 3rd gear, the evic display changed to 3rd gear but and transmission remained in 4th. After 8 seconds of throttle delay (timing may vary), the vehicle will down shift and accelerate.this unpredictable throttle response has a potential of causing an accident if this throttle response failure occurs during a situation of passing or avoiding another vehicle.i have brought the vehicle back to the dodge dealer on nov 2015 and apr 2016, and they took it for a test drive and concluded that the vehicle is fine. They could not repeat the failure and told me everything is normal. Dodge will not, or cannot fix the root cause of this throttle response failure.

I was entering the freeway and getting up to speed, when i merge onto the freeway my car loss power and would not accelerate and doing the time it was high traffic time of day, and there was a big truck coming up behind me and the driver blew his horn and slammed his brakes to keep from hitting me from behind.i gave my car more gas and there was no acceleration, when i lifted my foot completely off the pedal and pushed it again then my car accelerated.it was a real scary moment not only for me but also for my daughter who was in the car with me.i made a appointment to bring it in to the dodge dealer to get it checked, when i brought it in the service writter told me that it did the same thing with the tech when he took it for a test ride, and they told me it was my transmission torque converter.i ask if they encounter this problem before and he said that they had history reports where the transmission had to be replaced.i had also did some research online and found a page called challenger forum, and there are some other dodge challenger owners who is also having the same problem.

I was driving down the road at 50 miles per hour when my car suddenly died. I figured it was due to the alternator recall. After getting the car to the dealership they are saying there is water in the intake and i must have driven through high water. This car has never been through high water. I have read online that this has happened to other 2013 dodge challengers. This seems to be an ongoing issue. It could have caused a major accident. How can water get into a motor for no reason and cause it to die as you are driving? if you drive when it is raining or if you hit a puddle on the blacktop it is going to cause your car to just die? if wasn't raining when it happened to mine and there was no water on the road but it had rained earlier in the day maybe 4 hours prior to the car dying.

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. While driving various speeds, the vehicle hesitated to accelerate when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle suddenly accelerated forward at a very high rate of speed. The failure was also present while at a stop light. When depressing the accelerator pedal to the floor, the vehicle hesitated to accelerate forward at a high rate of speed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was taken to three separate dealers before the failure was duplicated. The manufacturer sent master mechanics to examine the vehicle, but the cause of the failure could not be identified. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 23,400.

The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.

The vehicle suddenly started smoking, immediately followed by fire while i was stopped at a red light in the middle of town. My 2013 dodge challenger only had 20,000 miles on it, and all service was done as recommended by dodge, at a certified shop. I reported the issue to dodge, and they denied any manufacturing defect, despite the fact that there is a recall for my model, because ofknown issues regarding alternators overheating, or short circuiting, causing thermal diode fatigue. The car was consumed by flames within minutes, and was deemed a total loss by my insurance company. I have not yet received a settlement.

The vehicle was in motion on the highway. The vehicle unexceptdly stopped accelerating on the highway causing me to put my hazard lights on as cars were iniin motion at a 70mph speed limit.

Air bag indicator light intermittently lights and renders the airbag system useless due to the malfunctioning switch in the airbag system. This could cause injury or death to the occupants of the vehicle

Bearings started falling out, which allows the seat to slide forward and backwards. Without these bearings the seat will no longer slide forward or backwards, when an adjustment is needed. However, when the brakes are applied, the seat will slide forward for no reason, or when i accelerate the seat will slide backwards. My mom's knees were damaged during a minor collision because of this issue. She is in her 80's. This is very concerning and may thrust someone forward during an airbag deployment. My airbag didn't deploy as i was able to brake and this was during a right turn at a traffic signal, so there wasn't enough speed to deploy the airbags.

Passenger seat adjuster: some roller bearings came out of the sliding tracks causing the seat to be loose and not completely lock in place, presenting a safety issue.

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. While the vehicle was stationary or driving various speeds, the passenger seat became loose and would not latch onto the floorboard track properly. Holden dodge of dover, delaware stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and the extended warranty had expired. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and there would be no warranty coverage for the defect. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

In my car my anti lock brake system just came on with the traction light and will not go off it just came on itself and when it rains it's like i ride on top of the rain it be on the highway and i don't know what the problem is..is there a recall on this situation

My breaks make a very loud noise every time i stop. This has been going on since my car was only 6 months old and i'm being told its not covered that its normal wear and tear.

Driving on the highway at about 70 mile the car power went out on abs and then all gages showed zero, steering went out and car shut of completely going at 60 then. No brakes no steering engine shuts off was so scared .... Car had to come to a stop on it own had stopped on the highway

My door doesnt realize its shut so my smart window goes up and down on its own until battery is drained. Happens when vehicle is stationary. Was recalled on 2012 model. My brakes or brake area squeals when im pressing the brakes to stop.i have new rotors and brakes, stops for about a week even have had rthem resurfaced. Lots of complaints on this in the challenger forum.

On several occasions the emergency brake does not work. I have engaged the emergency brake and my vehicle still rolls. Icontacted stateline dodge in kansas city, mo. They advised it is a known issue with my year and model and they want to charge over a thousand dollars to fix also they advised that even with the fix it still may roll.it should be noted that the listed date of occurrence is the last date. I am the original owner and the vehicle has less than 50000 miles and this has be happening for about the five or six years now. I don't drive the vehicle much

Air bag indicator light intermittently lights and renders the airbag system useless due to the malfunctioning switch in the airbag system. This could cause injury or death to the occupants of the vehicle

The contact owns a 2013 dodge challenger. While driving and turning the vehicle, the contact heard an intermittent clicking noise. There was no warning indicator illuminated. Also, thesteering did not operate well. The vehicle was taken to addy's harbor dodge ram fiat (843-945-3100, located at 4849 u s 501, myrtle beach, sc 29579) to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to nhtsa. The failure mileage was approximately 59,000. The vin was not provided.

Steering locks up making left turn intermittently in motion.

Power steering just randomly goes out. Had dealership check it out. They say that it has happening all over the country on several mopar vehicles. They said nothing wrong with my pump, module or rack. Alternator recall was already performed so was ruled out. This is ridiculous!!

The steering is real stiff when the car is first started. It gets exceptionally stiff when turning left.

Power steering started leaking at roughly 60k miles causing steering issues.

When backing out of a parking space the electronic power steering stopped working almost causing an accident. Extremely hard to steer far worse than any manual steering i have driven in over 50 years. Only 17,500 miles on car.steering pump on national back order. Car was in motion. City and highway both.

Challengers steering always goes out. Their are forums all over the internet about the horrible steering issues of dodge vehicle ranging frombrand new models to older models. This issues makes it difficult to turn which is a safety hazard.also the book inside the challengers show that there is a power steering reservoir but it does not have one so even if low fluid was an issue we could not fix that.

Driving on the highway at about 70 mile the car power went out on abs and then all gages showed zero, steering went out and car shut of completely going at 60 then. No brakes no steering engine shuts off was so scared .... Car had to come to a stop on it own had stopped on the highway

Weather strip between front bumper cover and hood has deteriorated already only 4years old. Wtf

Twice when driving down highway i went to pass a car and when i pressed the accelerator pedal my car did not accelerates,so i hurried and got back behind the vehicle i was trying to pass, it scared my daughter who was in the car with me.today i was on the on ramp to merge onto the highway and tried to speed up and my car didn't ,the rpm stayed the same and no warning light came on,im guessing that taking it to get check would not help being it didn't have any warnings came on, and i don't have any warranty and i only have 57272 miles on car.

The smart glass which is caused by the door latch in the vehicle will malfunction and while the vehicle is off will cycle up and down causing the windows to go up and down and causes battery to drain while parked and driving refer to 2011-12 dodge challenger smart glass recall

Safety power windows (anti-pinch)standard it's keeps going up and down when the car is off

I had just purchased my vehicle made one payment with 2500 down.we had as rain storm on july 31 and i was in city limits on the 24th block where i also reside at and there was running water but not higher than the curb and my vehicle stalled on me and just slowly began to die off...an adjuster was sent to my house not checking deep in the motor and not being a liscened mechanic either said vehicle was total loss..floor board was not wet either...occurence, of this incident was due to the intake and its position..in the front of the bumper facing down mesning any smalk or large amount of water trash is absorbing into motor..not only did i lose money but i am upside down still owing a vehicle i do not own and i am without a vehicle...im simply asking for any considerstion in helping me get another vehicle with no down payment please...the incident occured in odessa tx 79763

My window goes up and down about 1/4 inch on its own every 10 seconds. This is started on its own. I have a 2013 dodge challenger rt. Due do the window consistently going up and down on its own, it causes the battery to go dead meaning i have to jump my car to get it started. I have called the chrysler recall center and they told me that it is indeed a recall for this issue however, when i bring my car to the dealership they say don't find any recalls for this issue. I called chrysler back while at the dealership and to my surprise another representative tells me they don't see any recalls for my vehicle. Keep in mind someone else from the recall center told me different. Please make this recall official. Most people will not report but there is surely an influx in the purchases of control module switches that should raise a red flag

Both parties were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was neither diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the air bag failure. The failure mileage was 2,300.

One of the speed sensor has stopped working, someone else i know is having the same problem on their dodge charger

While driving on the highway, multiple lights began to flash across the dashboard. The odometer moved freely back and forth without giving an accurate measurement of speed. (video too large to upload)

Saw light on dash (etc malfunction indicator light) and next memory is being at hospital.during the 60-90 seconds after i saw light witnesses watched my 2013 challenger r/t accelerate up to high 90s and ultimately crash through fence and into house.edr shows steering at traffic circle but no accelerator pedal input during last five seconds.engineers say probable cause is malfunction in electronic throttle control and poorly designed brake-throttle override.

My vehicle only has 7,000 miles and i've notice the front windshield with a large number of small chips. I'm wondering if the windshield is defective and what would happen if something larger hits the glass will it break easier.i drive the same way to work and my other vehicle which has 40,000 doesn't look like this.

I bought a 2013 dodge challenger rt classic new in may of 2013 in nampa, idaho. The car came with 245/45zr20 goodyear eagle f1 supercar tires. Last summer, we had one tire replaced due to a nail in the sidewall with the same goodyear tire (although it had a year newer manufactured date code). The other 3 tires were still original. The car is now a little over 2 years old. There were only 20k miles on the car and tires when this took place. The car has been well cared for and stored inside. The tires have never had any pressures less than 32 pounds of air in them (due to sensors monitoring the tires). The weekend of 7/11/15 we started out on a trip from caldwell, id to kalispell, mt (we were taking the scenic route on windy back roads). We got 50 miles into our trip before we got a low air pressure warning on one of the tire sensors (the right rear). We stopped and had the tires checked. They found all 4 tires at various stages had the inner sidewalls coming apart on the tires (even the newer one with 10k miles on it). We had all of the tires replaced. I have these old defective tires in my garage. I did not put goodyear tires back on the car due to them not being available at the tire store. I have worked on cars all my life. These tires were never abused and this is not normal. I fear for others lives. If the sidewall of one of these tires completely blew out, the car would likely be uncontrollable. I have done searches on the internet and i am not the first to experience this problem with this make and model of tire. I really feel this is a manufacturer's defect. When trying to address this issue with dodge and goodyear, all that was offered to me was a 'road hazard' voucher for $491 and only if i put goodyear tires back on the car. They were well aware i had already changed the tires and did not have any interest in putting unsafe goodyear tires back on my car.
