Consumer pressed on horn and it did notwork.also,air bag light appeared on the dashboard and remained on until the vehicle was turned off.
There is a spring that is located in the steering wheel assembly that controls the airbag.i believe they call this a check spring.it has stopped working and resulted in the following: a) the air bag indicator light stays on. This means that the airbag system in my vehicle is not working at all. B) the horn system is connected to this system and it now does not work. The chrysler dealer says that the part has a lifetime warranty for vehicles made in the year 1998, but vehicles made after this date are not covered.it is my belief that this should be covered since the design of the airbag system affects another safety apparatus, the horn.i can not caution or alert a pedestrian or an other motorist and i have had occasion where i wanted to in a recent trip to columbus, ga. I would like to have this looked into at your earliest convenience. If you can assist me in getting this repaired i would very much appreciate that, especially if there is no cost to me.

The vehicle caught on fire from the under the truck and it was from oil leaking onto the engine. Please describe.
While pressing the remote for the door to open it made a noise and failed to open the door. Driver took the vehicle to the dealer for analysis, and mechanic noticed a short in the wire inside of the remote. Itneeded to be replaced.

The spare tire that came with the vehicle could not be mounted because the metal wheel had the lug holes in the wrong place, consumer attempted to get another spare fron the dealer but has had no luck.nlm
Drivers side sliding door and vent window grazed plastic mailbox resulting in the sliding door window shattering and vent window imploded into the vehicle.
