My vehicle is equipped with headrest air bags. A year ago my passenger side headrest air bag engaged while the vehicle was parked in a parking lot and we were inside a restaurant. There was no damage to the vehicle to indicate it to go off. I contacted dodge and the dealership and both told me that they would not do anything about this. Fast forward to last week, i was sitting at a red light when all of a sudden my driver side headrest slammed me in the back of the head when it spontaneously went off. I have now been trying to get dodge to do something about both headrests once again, and i am not being contacted back. I am trying to get the dealership to help and their communication is horrible so i have no idea if i am even getting a resolution to this. I feel that this isn't a random situation and feel very unsafe driving my vehicle with myself and children it it.

While driving airbag light came on with interior lights flicking on/off while driving on every occasion for last 1-2 months. Also while driving would say right rear sliding door was open with lights on while driving. Air bag light has since gone off and came back on/off but interior lights remain on at times while driving. Sometimes rear sliding door sounds like it's trying to latch. Local garage unable to find anything wrong it. I believe there is a electrical shortage that started with airbags and from reading there is a takata recall on other vehicles causing a circuit shortage like this.

Original owner. Van was in use and most of the dash warning lights went on. Most electrical items (horn etc) not working short distance to home but the motor would not shut off. The van kept running even with the key removed. Started to overheat since the fan wasn't working. Called dealer, advised to remove negative battery cable. Motor shut off. Tried a restart to position for tow truck. Van restarted and functioned. Flatbedded to dealer where "tipm" was replaced under warranty. Invoice chcs398350 teterboro chrysler, nj owned-driven many cars/trucks never saw one that would not shut off.
Air condtioner started to only work on the drivers side. Everywhere else was blowing out hot air.
Back passenger door lock is stuck in the locked position.nothing will unlock it. Dangerous for the passengers in the back, they can't get out on that side.
This morning at 7:58 am 7.16.2019, my car just stopped. Lost all power, could not steer, breaks became hard, no light came on indicating an issue. I was slowing down to go over a speed bump and the car just stopped. I put on my hazards and waited a moment restarted the car. Before that as i was driving the car seemed to feel like the engine was fluttering (?) or losing power then gaining it back. That flutter has been happening on and of for a couple of months, but no lights have come on indicating any issues with the engine. I have gone online and seen many, many posts with people complaining about the car just stopping, taking it to the dealer and dealer not being about to find a cause. This is incredibly dangerous, if this happens on a busy road or on the freeway someone could die!. Thank god my kids were not in the car and i didn't get hit!

The contact owns a 2015 dodge caravan. While the contact was driving approximately 55 mph, the engine revved and stopped. Also, the check engine indicator illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence where an independent mechanic diagnosed that the transmission pressure fluid was low and provided the contact with the code. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,668.

The contact owns a 2015 dodge caravan. While driving 55 mph on an interstate, the vehicle stalled without warning in the middle of traffic. The contact restarted the vehicle and described a jerking motion that occurred without warning. The contact pulled to the right side of the road and placed the vehicle in the reverse position; however, the vehicle failed to reverse. The vehicle was towed to jt's chrysler dodge jeep ram fiat (4838 sunset blvd, lexington, south carolina 29072, (803) 220-3725) where it was diagnosed that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer stated that the warranty coverage expired on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 102,002.
The contact owns a 2015 dodge caravan. While driving 50 mph going uphill, the transmission made a clunking noise and hesitated to shift into the correct gear. Also, the vehicle made a high pitched noise when the engine was revved. The vehicle was taken to west hills chrysler jeep dodge ram (900 w hills blvd, bremerton, wa 98312, (360) 377-4418) and they rebooted the computer system, which temporarily corrected the failure. The dealer stated that the vehicle had over 36,000 miles and was out of warranty. The manufacturer also stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 25,000. Consumer stated vehicle is now working due to powertrain/ transmission failure. Updated 11/28/18
Takata inflators. I was driving down us 41 at a speed of approximately 50 mph when my van suddenly revved very loudly and all systems seemed to begin shutting down. I removed my foot from the gas and it continued to climb in rpm's and would not accelerate. I was almost directly in front of a car repair shop so i basically coasted in there and was told i had to be towed to a transmission shop. I did and was told that the torque converter and transmission pump had likely failed and that the extent of the damage could not be determined until the transmission was opened up but that it would likely require a new transmission. I had a second opinion at a different shop and was told the same thing. The shop owner advised me of recall s44. Upon contacting the dealership they say my vin does not appear however the issue is exactly what is happening with my vehicle. The vehicle is currently unable to be driven and i am seeking legal counsel.

Rodent chewed through brake fluid level circuit wiring. Wire connector chewed through. The vehicle was parked on the street in green valley ,az. Repair at larry h. Miller dodge of tucson, az. Cost 451.65 which was a rip-off.

My driver side sliding door is stuck in the lock position. Cant open it with the fob or manually.no warning just stopped working. I have small children this is a hazard to not be able to open this door.

In 18 wheeler came in my lane in side wipe the company car i was driving on the highway.
Car was sitting in park and stationary with engine on in our home flat driveway and driver got out of car to return to house while car was in park. Air conditioner isn't working properly. It does blow cool air but not cold. Il have digital climate control and when it works, it freezes me out but when this happens, which is happening on a daily basis... It will not get cold. The air it blows is the same whether my thermostat is set on 79 or 60.not sure what is going on but i read a lot of complaints regarding the ac in the 2015 dodge caravan. I've already paid almost $400 to get the rear ac fixed. It wasn't blowing cold and the fan was going in and out. If there are this many complaints, you would think chrysler would do something about it! i've tried checking my vin and it's saying something about not being able to process it at this time and to contact my local dealership.
Air conditioning - only blows heat on the rear side of the van. Purchase august of 2015 and did not use the ac until summer of 2016 when i notice the problem.took to the dealer and they fix it one.call them to see what the problem was, but they have no record of the repair.
Rear window exploded without warning sending shards of glass forward in the car.car was travelling in right lane of i-95 at approximately 70 mph.we heard a loud pop and then the sound of the shattered safety glass pieces falling in the rear of the car.there was no construction or standing vehicles on the side of the highway, no traffic immediately behind or next to us, so we do not think it was the result of anything striking the window.the photos were taken after returning home (about 50 miles after the incident).there was initially a large hole, about 12 inches in diameter, to the left of the electrical connector for the heated window (on the right - second picture).more glass fell out between the incident and the photo.
