While driving 15 mph on a residential street,brakes locked up and would not release, cause unknown. Consumer had to get under vehicle to remove a clevis pin from the parking brake cable, the cable was under pressure.

Ford chassis for motor homes are for 11000 gvwr or 13000 gvwr, and consumer should be able to carry stuff onvehicle.a company by the name of "a weight we go" said thatfront axle weighedin at the correct weight, butrear axle came in over the weight limit.consumer feels manufacturer uses insufficientaxle size,and consumer can't put anything else on the motorhome, such as dishes, etc. *ml

Lost brakes at lowspeed twice

The contact owns a 1999 damon challenger. While driving approximately 5 mph and attempting a turn, the contact experienced a loss of brakes and the brake pedal abnormally fell to the floorboard. The contact examined the failure and discovered that the rear driver side wheel was abnormally hot. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic where the wheel screws were tightened. The failure recurred three times following repairs and was not corrected. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.

On a ford chassis; while driving over bumps or railroad tracks,motorhome is dragging the rear gas tank which may possibly cause a leak/fire.fordindicates there is too much overload onmotorhome. Front unitwasdesigned to hold 7,000 lbs, and the rearend 11,000 lbs. But when gas tank is filled up, motorhomefront endholds 5,700 lbs, and the rearend 12,800lbs. Please provide further information.

The contact owns a 1999 damon challenger.he received a recall notice for the vehicle speed control (nhtsa campaign id #07v336000) in september 2007.the dealer initially stated that the part would be available in december however; in december, they stated that the part would be available in march of 2008.the manufacturer could not provide an anticipated date of arrival for the part.as of the december 5, 2007, the dealer had not repaired the vehicle.the contact stated he is not satisfied with the wait time.the current mileage was 20,000 and there had been no failure to date.the engine size was unavailable.updated 12/31/07updated
