I was on your web site and noticed that a recall notice was placed concerning my 2000 daewoo nuberia.i called the nhtsa hotline, as there are no longer any daewoo dealers in the us.the lady who answered stated that, even though i was never informed of the recall - concerning the breaks on the car - i have no recourse because there are no daewoo dealers in the us.the only notice that i received from daewoo was the letter stating that they are no longer conducting business in the us.i think that it is incredulous that i can not have this issue taken care of.i will be saving the page that documents the break and hose problems attributed with my car.if my car encounters problems, the dot and nhtsa will be sent the bill to reimburse any costs that incurr, as i was told by a representative of nhtsa, a division of the dot, that "there is nothing (i) can do."
