When changing lanes steering wheel vibrated. The tires were wearing unevenly.vehicle was driven to a dealership, who indicated that this occurred because the lower control arms were defective, and needed to be replaced. The parts were replaced, but the failure recurred.

Car quit in midst of driving.i thought it stalled.towed to shop to find out the timing belt broke.this car had 44813 miles on it when this happened, mechanic said this is unheard of and dug to find the reason.water pump was leaking internally, caused the timing gear to rust and freeze which caused the belt to break.this caused engine problems and had to have the head resurfaced.this problem caused major problems and expense ($2245.17).owner of the shop said that a timing belt doesn't even have maintenance (look at it) until a vehicle has 60,000 miles on it.there was no way to know that the water pump had a problem.

The dealer reports they have 6 with the same problem.car swerves on acceleration.

I have already reported to the dealership of problems with decreasing speed, acceleration and cruise control of the daewoo nubira.i have a standard shift vehicle with five gears.when i get the car up to 60 mph or more and let up on the gas, the car jerks forward and back!!i had the dealership take a look at this problem.they compared my car versus a newer model (with an automatic transmission) and they found the same problems that i faced.they used the cruise control and found that the car has a jerking action while trying to maintain its cruising speed.they informed me that they filled out a "tech report" and that in future models they will work on the problem.i really do like my car, but i cannot stand the jerking action.i don't know if others have reported this problem or if it is just a couple of nubiras that experience these problems.either way, i consider this a defect in the cruise control and acceleration/decrease of speed.thank you for taking this request and, if possible, could you inform me if there has been any other problems such as this reported.thank you.- brian p. Blythin
