A 2001 daewoo leganza(believe that is the model) hit my parked pick-up. The police estimate the vehicle was going about 40mph. The reason i am getting involved is to inform you that the airbags in the daewoo did not imploy. Even the police officer thought that they should.
While driving at various speeds and when applying the brakes tail lights failed. Also, air bag light would illuminate after starting the vehicle, air bag light would stay on the remainder of the time that vehicle was being operated. Dealership would be notified.

In september 2004 i received notification of a recall relating to the cam shaft position sensor in my 2001 daewoo leganza.the faulty device was supposed to cause the check engine warning light to illuminate (which it did), and a burning smell and/or visible smoke (which also occurred).the letter mentiond a range of vin numbers of vehicles included in the recall and my car is well within that range.i took the car to an authorized service center for the repair and was told that, despite the fact that the problem resulting in this recall was exactly what was happening to my car, this was not a covered service because the lot number of the part they removed was not within the affected lot of defective parts.the letter i received made no mention of specific lots affected, but it did clearly state, "this service will be performed for you at no charge..." i was charged for the service and the daewoo customer assistance center representative claims no liability for the faulty part and repairs when i spoke to them on the afternoon of march 8,2005.

Was driving approximately 65 mph. While applying the brakes to slow down, the brakes locked. This resulted in a front end collision. The cause of this is still undetermined.
