Owner took the vehicle to the dealer but was informed that the vin does not match the numbers that were being recalled. Owner has tried to contact the manufacturer of daewoo. However, no one will respond.

I received a safety recall notice on my daewoo nubira regarding the camshaft position sensor. I want to get it serviced, but there nobody will service it! vern eide in sioux falls, who originally sold the car (to the prior owner) refuses to fix it. I went online to the daewoo site to get the nearest shop that would replace it and there is nobody in sd that is on that list.the nearest one is 200 miles away. That is unacceptable. It is a repair that legally has to be fixed, from what i understand...so daewoo needs accommodate a reasonable solution to get it repaired.

Dt:2000 daewoo nubirathe caller stated that she has taken this car to be repaired 2 times and 2 other mechanics have also looked at this car.all have stated that the passenger side front control arms are damaged.when the consumer dorve the car from either a stopped position or while in motion the car pulled to the left on acceleration and when the car shifted it pulled real hard to the right. The mechanics stated that the front control arm bussing are defected. And this is unsafe to drive. The consumer had to replace a front set of tires in less 3000 miles.no one can find the parts and the consumer has not been able to speak to any one on this matter.the consumer found 265 complaints on the internet on one web site regarding this issue. This happens every time you drive the car now.it started out just happening every now and then but now it is everytime.
