On may 24th, 2014, we purchased a 2015 sunset trail 33bd, manufactured by ds corp, dba crossroads recreational vehicles, from mactaw inc, dba pete's rv center, at their indiana location.we went camping on july16th, 2014 thru july 20, 2014, as we were leaving, water gushed out from underneath the rv.on july 21st, 2014, we took a few screws from the underbelly of the rv to see if we could see where the leak was coming from.when we let down the underbelly, we were shocked at what we had found.all of our electrical wires, plumbing lines, and hvac ducts were laying in water on top of this 3/32" thick cardboard looking underbelly, running through six, 6 to 8" jagged holes cut in 2 of our main beams.i immediately contacted joe vartuli, our salesman, and informed him of what had happened.i then sent him pictures and videos on july 23, as i was having problems uploading them due to their size, as well as contacted the manufacturer and was put through to terry baughman.after many conversations and sending numerous emails to 8 different people at crossroads rv, i get a call from angie cox, his supervisor, and we had a very lengthy conversation, resulting in she wants to, in her words, tidy up things and feels there is no problems with the electrical wires, plumbing lines, and hvac ducts rubbing against the 6 jagged holes cut in the main beams as well as them being exposed to hazardous locations.she also has no problems with the structual integrity of the beams that were cut as she said that was by design.i told her that the only way to fix the numerous problems underneath and to bring it up to code and proper standards was that the unit would have to be dismantled to properly install and replace the electrical wires, plumbing lines, hvac ducts, as well as the 2 main beams, as their condition now and in the future has been greatly affected by negligent and improper installation.

The contact owns a 2015 crossroads sunset trail reserve. While attempting to park the rv, the rear frame's spring hanger fractured on the driver's side. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v156000 (suspension). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 1,200.
