After 425 miles of using the trailer i wanted the tires balanced for the summer trips around the mountains of arizona. Took the trailer to discount tire, they could not balance the five(5) wheel/tires. We replaced each wheel rim with their w21-4612 and each of these did balance with only weights added to two of the five.with each and all cars, trucks, campers and trailers that i have had i always was able to balance the tires with the original rims; this is the first unit that i could not do this for without replacing the wheels.this is something that most will not consider necessary(balancing trailer tires), and that i consider a safety issue if that cannot be done with the oem equipment.six thousand pounds attached to my truck and the tires are the only thing touching the road, tires will wear out very fast unbalanced and other issues could also occur.how many others will think that the tires where at the failure, or their driving when it could have been just the wheel rims that caused a failure or accident , unknown to them or others.i have all five original rims at home for any inspect you may require just let me know.the inside of the wheel rims are "jingu 02 09 13 made in china 14x5.5 maxload 1870 lbs dott a13382"on the zhejiang jingu co. Ltd website jgwheel.com these are either called jg08j20 or jg08j24 as the only 14x5.5 tires listed.i have already contacted the wheel and tire warranty company that dutchman manufacturing, inc. List on the warranty page, this is "lionshead specialty tire & wheel, llc."i have send to them a complete outline similar to this complain.i have been informed that the wheels are not covered for balancing and that is a not warranty issue, that the rims where not mean to be balanced.
