The contact owns a 2020 coachmen prism rv. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, an abnormally loud banging sound was heard on the passenger's side of the rv. After stopping to inspect the rv, it was discovered that the 12 foot motorized retractable awning was unsecured, and nearly detached from the rv. The road rancher was called to the scene and a report was taken. The rv was later driven to the local rv repair shop appalachian rv repair located at 5606 nc 226 s, marion, nc 28752, however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 13,000. The vin was invalid.*dt
