The contact owns a 1991 chrysler town and country.while driving 65 mph, a pop sound was suddenly heard and the air bag deployed.the vehicle was driven to the contact's residence and then towed to the dealer.the dealer inspected the vehicle and stated that the seat belt shorted out.the dealer had an engineer inspect the vehicle and take pictures.the failure and current mileages were 99,000.

The contact owns a 1991 chrysler town and country.while driving 30 mph, the abs failed to operate and the vehicle took 20-30 additional feet to stop.the abs light illuminated intermittently.while at the dealer on february 15, 2008, they stated that there was failure with the wiring and the vehicle needed a cylinder module and electrical work.the repair would cost approximately $200.the contact had the vehicle repaired, but the failure recurred.the dealer stated that nothing further could be done.the failure mileage was 104,000 and current mileage was 118,000.

Vehicle started to overheat, blowing white smoke & then stalled. Took vehicle to dealer. Was told engine head gasket cracked. Mechanic put a gasket on engine head, but did not replace engine. Transmission was replaced due to failure, seals were leaking. Engine problem still exists.

On two occasions engine belt came off, reason unknown. Dealer/manufacturer were not notified at this time. *sb

Vehicle smelled like gasoline inside of vehicle. Fuel rail was defective. Consumer had a mechanic look at it, and when he liftedhood up there was gasoline spilled all overengine.dealershipwas aware.

Crossing the highway and hit by other vehicle on side left rear tail gate popped open and riders were ejected.tt

The contact ownsa 1991 chrysler town and country. While the vehicle was parked the contact noticed the abs warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact also stated the abs function was constantly on which made the vehicle difficult to drive. The dealer stated the vehicle had previously been repaired under nhtsa campaign id number: 96v099000 (service brakes, hydraulic:antilock) and would have to be diagnosed for the failure. The contact stated prior to the recall repairs she had not experienced a failure with the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 72,000.

When the brakes are applied there is a delay before the vehicle will stop.

Dt:the contact receivednhtsarecall, campaign96v099000 concerning abs brakes. While pulling out of a parking space the abs activated.the vehicle was stopped without incident. The vehicle was repaired under this recall.however, the brakesfailed twice within a week.the vehicle was repaired again,and the contact was afraid to drive the vehicle.

Vehicle experienced 3 episodes of complete abs failure while driving, the manufacturer refused to rectify the problem under recall 96v-099.

Nhtsa recall 92v030000 concerning brake pump failure.consumer contactedthe manufacturer, and was told that vehicle was recalled, and toproceed to the dealer forrepairs.consumer had the repairs done, and experienced brake failure four times since the pump wasreplaced.on each occasion the pump was replaced with a defective pump.

I'm trying so hard to get a database of the history of recalls for my car without luck .can you help thanks. No safety defect listed.

When getting out of the vehicle door's will automatically lock the consumer out of the vehicle.

While closing sliding door, doorcame completely off without warning.manufacturernotified, and gaveconsumer a file # 8125457 concerningincident.

Goodyear tires were replaced twice.
