While driving. All my warning gauges will come on and gauges flutter or drop to zero and engine might stall. This is happening numerous times and as all other complaints on this subject. No one can seem to find a problem. This is going to cause crashes. Chrysler had better take notice and have a re call on this., afraid to drive my car
The gauges on my car heat up when the headlights are on.i had the bulbs taken out of the clock to see if that was the cause, but it doesn't help.the whole front dash heats up from the clock down to the gauges and get very, very hot.i am afraid there will be an electrical fire.is there something that can be done without replacing the whole front console?
Abs and stability control lamps illuminated, for the next week, the fault was intermittent. Workshop checked out fault, couldn't find fault with wheel sensors and couldn't reset fault. Developed into multiple instrument panel display indications, upto 10 flashing panel lights, and momentary power failure effecting all systems and engine. Internet including youtube states common problem not acknowledged by chrysler. Some suggestions that ignition switch is fault but nothing certain. Car has only 37k miles so reluctant to start changing expensive electrical parts without guarantee of repair, i.e. Abs computer ecu, instrument pack etc. Looked at recent recall for gm, my pt cruiser cabriolet was manufactured in mexico in 2007. The parts involved in gm recall are delphi from mexico between 2005-7. Is this the same problem? please note i live in england, great britain so the zip and daytime phone number are from beverley hills! use [xxx] number which is uk cell phone, [xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

This is not an accident but a concern about the drivers seat...when i purchased the vehicle the drivers side seat control panel was broken, plastic parts would not hold. The dealership tried to tape it to fixed it. Lasted 5minutes!!they had too order a new control panel, replaced it, last about 3 mo. Fed up with dealership had friend drill hole in metal frame to insert a screw...worked for a few more months, now broken again, the screw part is ok, but the front part is broken!!just want to say i am not obese, just a normal weight person!this is the part that moves the seat up and back and up and down. Just very aggravated about the whole thing. This is my 4th pt cruiser, so i know the car. This one has a crappy seat control!!
