Defective hood molding (part number 4805004ab) .while driving down the highway when, for no reason, the hood molding broke loose, bounced off the windshield and onto the road behind us.startling driver so badly that they drove off the road at highway speed.chrysler was contacted, their response is as follows:thank you for your email to daimlerchrysler regarding your 1999 chrysler lhs.i regret your dissatisfaction in your lhs and appreciate the time and effort you took to bring this matter to my attention.comments like yours are one way to learn of problems that may develop and improvements desired by customers.the information received is used in product development and quality analysis.daimlerchrysler has made tremendous gains in customer satisfaction and vehicle quality.apparently, your expectations have not been met.please accept my apology for the problems you have experienced.thank you for sharing your concerns.

A crack approx 10 inches in length to the left of the passenger side airbag and a new crack just started to the right of the airbag.i've contacted chrysler two years ago only to be told tuff luck.they wouldn't even consider paying for materials.it scares me as i'm afraid that it's a safety hazard.my car is parked in a garage and well maintained.i only have 69,000 miles on it and when i complained i only had approx 40,000 miles on it.not sure of the exact incident date so i've just added one so that i could proceed.

Was on my way to class, was hit on passenger front side of car, then hit head on by sitting truck, air bags never deployed (have pictures to prove this), and i have been disabled from work with ongoing daily pain. If airbag would have deployed i know i wouldn't have been thrown around in the car like i was.

The contact owns a 1999 chrysler lhs. After the vehicle was started, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. In addition, the horn and cruise control failed to operate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the clock spring assembly failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 04v480000 (air bags). The failure mileage was 100,000. The vin was unavailable.

When the vehicle was hit at 45 mph in the front center, theair bagsdid not deploy. Dealer notified. A semi truck pulled out in front of the consumer.the air bags and seat belts were on but the consumer had gone over the steering wheel and injured herself.(the consumers daughter was ejected out her seat as well) *scc

Consumer's vehicle was rear ended. Upon impact, it hit the vehicle in the front at 20 mph. Air bags did not deploy, but there was a crack in the dashboard.

Consumer noticed two sudden cracks (slits) along the airbag area. *phthe dashboard had to be replaced.

While parked at a stop light another vehicle came across centerdivider and hit consumer's vehicle head-on. Upon impact,air bags did not deploy.contacted dealer with no results.2 people were injured in accident, consumer has contacted dealer who has not responded back yet.

Consumer states while traveling 55 mph rear ended another vehicle vehicle, air bags did not deploy,causing injury to consumer.

While driving 45 mph, had a direct frontal impact in which driver's and passenger's airbags did not deploy, failing to protect the occupants in the crash.manufacturer stated the airbags did not deploy even though it was a direct frontal impact.

Dt:when the consumer's wifestarted the vehicle it went forward while the vehicle was in park.this caused vehicle to run over a short wall.this resulted ininjuries to the driver and the passengers.upon impact,airbags failed to deploy.the consumer believedthat the problem wasthe transmission.recall work done on this issue.the consumer felt that the recall work was the reason for the accident.when the consumer contacted the manufacturer, they stated that it was not their fault.the accident occurred on 7-17-05.just the week before this accident a new battery and transmission were installed at the service dealer.the consumer believes the computer malfunctioned.

Driver of another vehicle was traveling down a major highway on the wrong side of the hwy, when the car in front of me swerved and i was hit head on in my 1999 chrysler lhs concord by the oncoming vehicle, where i tried to swerve over but was too late my chrysler went air born, flipped and rolled, out of the impact my air bag didn't deploy and i was thrown from the front to the rear, back to the front of the vehicle. I have read several complaints as mine regarding the chrysler air bags not deploying, and on a head on collision, they are automatically suppose to deploy. I'm now in and out of therapy and without a vehicle. But thankful to still be alive.

Owner was making a turn at 20 mph and hit a tree. The air bags failed to deploy. The vehicle actually hit a tree and split the tree in half. The tree was about 8" to 10" in diameter.provide further details.complaint filed on behalf of consumer who is recovering in a nursing home.*tc

Interior lights go on and off,instrument panel,blinks,while driving. Alarm goes off for no reason. I've had to replace 3 batteries,as it seems there is a drain in the system somewhere that knowone can find. Its sitting dead once again in front of house. Barely touch cables to battery extended connections and it will start right up. After charging battery it is dead within 24 hrs. Turning key,interior lights do not flicker or dim,but you hear click of like dead battery. Definite problem with wiring in this car,and a safety issue when driving. Just spent 1800.00 in 6 months also replacing 3 injectors,and all o rings.gas line on back firewall was also cracked and putting fumes into interior. Only did this when at idle. This wiring harness problem needs to be addressed before someone gets into an accident. Also switch on headlights cannot be used on auto,drains battery quicker. Now heat/ac/lights goes out on dash. Seem to hear a continue hum even when car is shut off..not radio! help,spent to much on this car with 126,000 miles on it to feel i can't put my children inside to be safe,or stranded. Recall wiring harness! all above happens either highway,or city streets. Now front interior dome lights have stopped working,but directional indicator still works. Just waiting for this to catch on fire. About time chrysler did something about these issues. I will never buy another chrysler vehicle again.also replaced fuel pump,timing belt,pulleys etc,before injector and fuel line problem,that occurred 3 months later.

When driving the dash light dim and the idiot lights come on and the gas and speedometer go dead. Sometime the front drivers seat decides to readjust itself and almost caused me do wreck. Was told all this is know by chrysler but cant afford to take to shop.

Takata recalli have just spent $435 to replace the starter assembly in my chrysler.had just purchased a new battery.the car only has 60k miles on it.has there been any recalls for this issue?that seems fairly low miles for a starter replacement.

When it rained, the electrical system shut down.

All of the dashboard gauges stopped working, the driver seat started moving, all at once.the speedometer stopped working while the driver's seat was adjusting itself--super dangerous!

When the car was towed out of the driveway, aaa tow jumped the battery it held for about aminute and then would not hold the start.the tow driver indicated that he believed that it was no transmission.sometimes there is an engine knock and sometimes as the charge is about to stop the engine runs with no noise.this car only hasapproximately 61,0000 miles, and has only been long distance to traverse city.further one shop indicated that the battery was only operating at 25%.no one would do a paid diagnostic on this vehicle.it was towed to firestone and mo's, in southfield and oak park respectively.

Consumer stated there are two key to the vehicle and neither one fits the ignition properly. Upon putting the key into the ignition consumer has to work with it for a while. Consumer had the ignition repaired twice already.

Key can be removed from the ignition switch at any position. Dealer contacted. Feel free to provide any further information.

The consumer was unable to start or turn the key in the ignition switch.

Consumer states that the starter caught on fire while driving 35-40 mph. Local fire department and state police arrived to extinguish the fire. Dealer and the manufacturer has been notified. Feel free to provide any further information.

Occasionally while driviigwith headlights on, (day or night) all dash related lights just start flickering. It will continue sporadically for some brief or extended period of time (less than a minute or as long as 10 to 15 minutes). My concern is a possible short exists which could either shut down the electrical system or create an electrical fire in the vehicle.

I am concerned there may be a problem with my wiring in my 1999 chrysler lhs, i have replaced fuses, two radiator fans, and my heat on my seat does not work, my climate control panel will not work and a friend of mine that owns a 300mhad similar problems, i thinkthere should be a recall to check the wire harness.

I have had to replace the horns on this vehicle four times. Every time it rains the position of the horn assembly under the hood and adjacent to the front wheels, apparently permits water to enter the horn and cause it to short out. Whatever the reason, the horns do not function properly. If the decibal level could be measured i am sure it would not be considered at all safe. The manufacturer claims not to have had a problem with other vehicles of the same design, etc. My opinion is not having a working horn is absolutely a safety issue and needs to be addressed by the manufacturer and ntsa.

Lights inside the dash keeps blinking on and off i need to know if this car was ever in any kind of acciendent . I would also like to find out if the mileage was turned back. And also who was the actual owner, because i was told that the car was a demo and the manager used it to get around in. For this to be ture why am i having prombles with it. I have an appointment friday 6/22 at 9.30 to take it in. I also found out that there is a recall on the car for it's seat belts. Would i be able to find out if this has been fix. The door open light comes on andflashes randomly when the car is being driven.the dome lights come on at the same time and flash.lastly, the ding-dong sound goes on/off.all of these happen at the same time.very embarrassing at night while driving ,a huge distraction for other drivers.

Dt*:the contact stated while driving 60mph, the engine stalled without warning.the vehicle would not restart and was towed to an independent repair shop for a diagnostic test.although a failure code was not detected, the problem persisted.the vehicle is currently at the dealer awaiting further inspection.

The contact owns a 1999 chrysler lhs.while driving 20 mph over a small bump, the vehicle made a loud noise.the mechanic replaced the headlight and stated that the cable bushings needed to be replaced, which are connected to the transmission and the engine.the contact replaced the tie rods five times.the front lower ball joints were also replaced.the contact is the second owner of the vehicle.the approximate failure mileage was 60,000 and current mileage was 173,000.

Car intermittently runs hot, have replaced radiator, thermostat, and the fans are both running at the time of the problem, when taken to the dealers they say they cannot recreate the problem therefore it must not be happening, i have read more than 100 blogs of other consumers having the same problem with no answers offered by the manufacturer.

While driving at 70 mph check engine light illuminates on the dashboard, thenvehicle will stall. When this occurs, vehicle loses all power, resulting in no steering or brake.the dealership is unable to correct the problem.

When temperture is about 75 degrees and consumer will turn on the air conditioner , hot air will come out instead of cool air.

This vehicle was purchased used in december of 2004.during the spring of 2005 it was found that the a/c was not functioning.after $300 in diagnostics, it was determined the evaporator was leaking freon and would need replacing, at an additional cost of $870.i contacted the previous owner of the vehicle and he stated that the a/c situation was the sole reason for trading the vehicle in the fall of 2004.chrysler refused to replace the defective evaporator for the previous owner and the repair estimate was in excess of $1000; therefore, he traded the vehicle with less than 60k miles.the gm dealership which took the trade also failed to repair the a/c and falsely represented the a/c as functional when the car was purchased.at this time, chrysler refuses to acknowledge the continued defect of their previously confirmed evaporators, which were voluntarily repaired up to 70k miles on previous model year vehicles.the reselling dealership does not take responsibility of the repair because the vehicle was beyond their 6000 mile warranty period after the sale, even though they knowingly sold the vehicle with a defective a/c system.this evaporator problem was brought to the attention of chrysler prior to the 7-year/70k mile mark, and the evaporator is clearly defective.chrysler should extend the model year to include 98 and 99 models, and should honor their extended warranty period to allow for these defective evaporators to be replaced.

Nar 05/23/2003 *mr while traveling the consumers engine stalled twice with in a few hours apart. The air conditioner was also broken.

Ac lost charge and was not cooling properly in feb 2002. Car was seviced at meineke in summerville, sc. No leak could be detected so system rercharged. System failed again in jun02 and again in aug02 at which time atlantic air and access. Inc located a leak in the evaporater.took vehicle to rick hendrick chrysler and they verified evaporater failure and replaced the evaporater.car was out of warranty due to mileage (vehicle less that 3 years old) therefore they would not cover repairs under warranty.contacted chrysler coorperation to request consideration due to evidence the hs body cars had experience evaporater failer in the the 1996 and 1997 models and it appeared this problem still existed (they had increase the warranty on the evaporater in 96/97 to 7years/70000 miles).they also refused to provide consideration even after i based my arguement that the evaporater was not a moving part and therefore not effected by mileage and it appeared they were still having problems with evaporater failure. They restated the car was out of warranty and were under no obligation to cover any repairs. Request assistance from nhtsa to determine if chrysler is still have evaporater failer problems and not addressing their responsibility to effect repairs in my and other owner's vehicles at the company's expense and not the owner's.

While driving, driver's side front tire failed, goodyear, p23555r17, dot 8302135, consumer tried to take tire off, however he and 4 others were unable to, vehicle was pulled from the jack and it flew to the side, the tire finally came off after beating on it for about 15 minutes, spare tire was only a 16 in. Tire while the other tires on vehicle were 17 in.

Vehicle has automatic lights that come on by themselves when it gets dark, consumer states headlights and dash lights go off by themselves, after 2 or 3 seconds they come back on, sometimes this repeats for 2 or 3 times before they stay on again.

While driving with headlights on the consumer noticed poor lighting. Consumer inspected the headlights andsaw discoloration of the headlight lenses.

Due to extensive usage, the headlights lens became foggy. Thisdecreased the visibility for night time usage.the consumer was told that it would cost $1,100 to replace the entire headlight assembly and lens system. *sc

The headlights were completely fogged on both chrysler vehicle.it appeared to be the outside plastic covering that has discolored.the dealer stated that there was a fix, but it cost $500.00per light.the consumer concerned that this caused the lights to be less effective, and seemed to deteriorate over time.*sc

Headlight lens are deteriorating on the inside & the complete headlight box assembly must be replaced to correct. The lens problem is making night visibility diminish as time goes by possibly causing an accident.*

On 4-18-02 my wife was backing our 1999 lhs chrysler out of our drive onto a busy highway, the shifter cable on the transmission malfunctioned, leaving the vehicle stranded inn the middle of the highway. My mechanic called our local chrysler dealership to order the part and the service dept. Told us that there was over 600 on backorder for the n.c. And va. Service area. Well, how many were in circulation before the supply ran out??? i called chrysler customer care about any recalls on the mannner and there were none and the person at chrysler said that it would not be recalled. I think this is a very dangerous situation and should be investigated. The vehicle can be stranded, unable to move, in some very dangerous situatuions and could harm the occupants.

I was stopped at a traffic light and i was rear-ended by a large suv. My driver-side seatbelt un-snapped at moment of impact..my wife was in the passenger seat her belt was fine..the car was damaged and everybody was ok...but was curious why the seatbelt un-snapped..

I tried for over a mile to disengage the cruise control with the switch and brake. I started on level land, went uphill and down and had the brake to the floorboard. There were toll booths with a number of occupiedvehicles in line. To avoid injurying or killing someone, i left the roadway hitting barriers and unoccupied vehicles. My wife suffered numerous bruising and bent glasses. I suffered a broken strernum and have developed fluid in my lungs and possibly around my heart. My prognosis is uncertain at this time.

Me and my wife have a 1999 chrysler lhs with some serious steering issues!!! i was told to notify you do to the extensive reports of prior lh series steering issues. We have owned the car for one year, it has 91,000 miles on it. When you turn to the left past center the steering almost completely stops working. This is very dangerous when driving. We have taken it to the dealer and explained the situation. They said they had to drive it for $45, which is a joke considering you could barely turn it left just sitting there. We went ahead and let them and they informed us the steering rack was failing, and it would cost $1200 to fix. The steering is almost completely useless now, unless i'm driving in the indy 500. I have ordered a steering rack and will install it myself for $275. The bad steering rack is still in the car now.

Car has 40k miles, 1999 model,no crashes. Driving down residential street, slow down and make right turn into parking lot. At completion of turn attempted to straighten wheels and lost function from steering but steering wheel turned like normal. Luckily very low speed so was able to stop without crash.root cause is bolts (2) sheared below steering gear where tie rods connect.repairs in progress, will attempt to drill out sheared bolts and replace, before having to replace gearbox and bolts.

I was pulling out of the driveway and the steering froze and i could not with all of my strength turn the wheels to the left.....when it failed, the car only had 34,544 kilometers and now has 35000. I have had it repaired at a local garage at the approx. Cost of 1400.00 dollars. Seems to me that the car has very low mileage and i have been doing alot of reading about this and this should definitely qualify as a recall item. What i really think is that chrysler should make every attempt to repair and repay all of the consumers that have already had their vehicle repaired. Also i would like them to make some serious changes to the steering system which in my eyes is a very dangerous system and is prone to failure that can cause serious injury. Now that it has been repaired, i still find some clunking noises and the steering is very stiff when you first begin driving...i also had to replace the outer tie rods because they were very noisy and unsafe and that was done approx 30 days before the steering rack was replaced....if i can assist you in any way, please contact me and i would be happy to do so. Vehicle steering would start pulling to the right and then the left. Noise coming from front end and very loud at times while turning. Andsometimes would not turn it would lock up no control then you would get control of the steering. We had car into the dealer and they could not find a problem. Dashboard is cracked around the passenger's sideair bag. Dealer and independentrepair shop indicated that they couldn't fix dashboardbecausethe cracks were near passenger's side air bag.needed a newdashboard,and it would cost about $2000.

My lhs has some type of front end problem we have had to buy and replace many tire for this car. Im lucky to have had found the bad tires before blowing out each time. I want to know if im the onyl one having this problem. I try to go with the customer arbitration and got no where.the dealer wanted to put me in a different car and give me $6000.00 dollars less what pay off was. Whenever turning the vehicle would hear a loud squeaking noise. This happened when going over speed bumps or up driveway. Took vehicle for service & had oil changed. Mechanic ordered parts for front suspension: sway bar links. Vehicle repaired & taken for test drive. Experienced major strut problems & struts were lubricated. Problem still exists.

1999 chrysler lhs is a death trap. After driving on the highway, i heard a noise. It was time for oil change also, so i took it to goodyear for service. The technician call me back 15 minutes later to tell me my car was unsafe and he couldn't do an oil change. He explained my car was dangerous. My inner tie rods were broken and can cause a deadly accident, my power steering was gone, and he advise me to have my car towed to a dealer for trade in. Well i took it to another technician for a second opinion and my car has been in the shop every since. I have had inner and outer tie rods replaced, power steering pump, rack and pinion, and an alignment. My car is still not fixed after a large repair bill.

Chrysler crome wheels will not hold air pressure in tires.it is a everyday job to check the air pressure in tires to be sure the car is safe to drive.i have returned to the dealer many times to reseal tire bead and rebalance tires.it is obvious to me that the crome wheels are defective and i fear i may have an accident because of lost air pressure in tires.

The car has had regular oil changes and was due for a transmission service.sensors were replaced approximately three years ago.mechanic indicated that the pan below was wet with oil. When the car was towed out of the driveway, aaa tow jumped the battery it held for about aminute and then would not hold the start.the tow driver indicated that he believed that it was no transmission.sometimes there is an engine knock and sometimes as the charge is about to stop the engine runs with no noise.this car only hasapproximately 61,0000 miles, and has only been long distance to traverse city.further one shop indicated that the battery was only operating at 25%.no one would do a paid diagnostic on this vehicle.it was towed to firestone and mo's, in southfield and oak park respectively.

When placing vehicle from park into reverse, vehicle accelerated and went into a semi circle.consumer has contact dealer and they cannot find cause of acceleration.

Consumer was backing out of the garage.vehicle wasin park and driver had foot on brake pedal when vehiclesuddenly took off, and went inside of consumer's dining room area. Vehicle stopped by the brick wall.consumer put vehicle in reverse, and itstopped.

While wife was pulling out of parking garage vehicle suddenly accelerated, and driver could not control vehicle,hitting other people around.vehicle finally stopped,and had to be towed.dealer could not tell what was the cause of acceleration.

While drivingat 70 pmph vehicle's speed suddenly dropped to 35 mph, and that was as fast as the vehicle would go.the speed sensor had to be replaced at consumer's expense. *tc

Uncommanded acceleration of vehicle to 65 mph. Only by long pumps upon the brake, was speed bled off to allow a safe stop. Upon arriving at a complete stop and shutdown, the dealer was notified by phone. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for evaluation.

The vehicle experienced sudden acceleration.

Vehicle suddenly accelerated as soon as the key was turned and the vehicle was placed into drive, causing itto run into two other vehicles.dealer has been contacted.

The vehicle surged forward when the consumer attempted to brake, and caused her to lose control of the vehicle which resulted in an accident.

When applying brakes to shift into reverse or drive vehicle suddenly accelerates, brakes would not hold, dealer contacted. Consumer states when shifted from park to drive with foot on the brake the vehicle shot forward with a roar at 30-40 mph, foot was still on the brake but vehicle continued to accelerate at high speed and crashed.*yd

Dt*:the contact stated while shifting into reverse the vehicle suddenly accelerated without warning.the sudden acceleration occurred on three occasions.during the first occurrences the vehicle stopped when the brakes were applied.the third time the vehicle bumped into a telephone pole before stopping.upon inspection the independent repair shop found the pin in the throttle body came out.the pin was reinstalled by the independent repair shop. Speed control/transaxle.2nd occurrence.1st with 98 chrylser concorde.2nd with this past saturday, 3-22-03.when the speed control module goes out, you are left with only 1st and reverse.according to the service tech at hemet chrysler, it happens more than it should.if it goes out while at highway speeds, it immediately shifts the car into 1st and you almost come to an abrupt halt.no accident, but it could result in one in heavy traffic and would probably hit in the rear with the sudden deceleration inspeed.

Had right foot on brake while pulling my car into gear from park.suddenly without warning my car accelerated on its own without my having depressed the accelerator.my car took off with a loud screech of tires.my right foot remained on the brakes the entire time as i desperately tried to stop my run away car.no matter how hard i tried to depress the brakes, they did not respond, or even slow my car down.a lady at the doctor's office where we were said that my car sounded like a jet engine taking off.my car jumped a curbing, climbed an embankment planted with shubbery and finally centered a pine tree which stopped the forward progress of my car.my daughter-in-law who was riding in the back seat with her eight month old son hit her head hard on the window.the car dealership and chrysler motors corporation said they found no problem with my car, and that this car is safe to drive.they refused to pay for damages or try to find a hidden malfunction in my car.

While backing out of a parking space the vehicle suddenly accelerated backwards, nearly causing a collision.cause unknown. The vehicle accelerated in reverse on its own numerous times causing accidents.on one occasion, the sudden acceleration caused a 6 car collision, consumer is requesting a response back, luckily there have not been any injuries in the four accidents caused by sudden acceleration.

Dt: contact complained ofa lot of problems with the car. There wasa new water pump/new battery cables/ new brakes/rotors, and pads on the car. Also,put in a new heater coil.they did something to the air conditioner, and it will cost approximately $500-600 to fix it.currently there is an electrical problem. Whiledriving down the street the carautomatically shuts off.it isan electrical problem because they have replaced the lights in the car and they shorted out.consumer wastold there was an electrical problem.

Two front power windows are stuck in the up position and will not roll down.the dealer was contacted but could not find the cause of the problem, the vehicle was re-examined and repaired.*nlm

While drivingvehicle filled up with smoke from the dash area.all electrical components shut down. Vehcle was towed to the dealership. Owner was told that radio shorted out, and shut down entire electrical system. Radio/both wndows motors, andfuses were replaced.onmarch 13, 2000 the driver's side window failed to open, and vehicle smelled electrically hot. Please provide any further information.

The contact owns a 1999 chrysler lhs. The contact stated that while trying to open the front passenger and driver side windows, the windows became disengaged from the track. The vehicle was not taken to a mechanic. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. Rear view mirror design shows objects smaller than they are, visibility problems.

If dashboard in color is other than black or charcoal, because of the angle of the windshield, a terrible glare is emitted when driving into the sunlight. Visual aidis distorted terribly, enough so that an accident could result from driving into the sun.

Glass windshield splintered when hit by a deer causing them to be scattered through out vehicle.

Reporting a design flaw in the front windshield from the bottom base up to the middle of windshield (horizontal); a dark film or cover causes a poor visibilityduring day light. Dealer / mfr notified, and informed consumer that nothing can be done. Seeking help from nhtsa in this matter.

Chrysler crome wheels will not hold air pressure in tires.it is a everyday job to check the air pressure in tires to be sure the car is safe to drive.i have returned to the dealer many times to reseal tire bead and rebalance tires.it is obvious to me that the crome wheels are defective and i fear i may have an accident because of lost air pressure in tires.

The chrome rims on the chrysler is defective.the inside of the chrome rim starts to flake where the chrome rim meets the beading on the tire and the tire starts to leak at the flaking.i cannot find a chrysler recall on this chrome rim defect in spite of numerous complaints.

The chrome rims after a short period of time will peeled whichdid not permit a solid seal. This caused the tires to leak air.consumer has had a total of 3 blow outs, 2 within the same week. Due to this problem the front end parts had to be replaced.tires were replaced a total of 20 times.

Tires began to lose air pressure, consumer feels this is due to the 17 inch chrome aluminum rims.

The tires did not hold proper air pressure, consumer had tubes installed on the tires, however the air pressure problems continued, tire dealer diagnosed the plating from the chrome rims, flaked off, the flakes had eaten through the tubes.the chrome rims were defective.scc

While driving ,the driver side tire blew out without warning.the dealer stated the chrome rimbubbled up and caused the blow out.the consumer couldn't keep any of the tires properly inflated.air was added to the tires 3-4 times per week. *sc

Consumer complained aboutall fourtires becoming flat while vehiclewas sitting in the garage.consumerhad to check the tires beforegoingout and returning. Shehad this problemchecked by the dealer,and was told that the problem might be the rims, but were not sure.also, consumer was told that the problem was unexplainable. Consumer purchased 4 new sets of rims and tires.*la

The tires on my car go flat every time the weather changes. I have the factory 17" aluminum rims. Discount tire said the chrome on the rims keep flaking off breaking the seal at the rim and going flat. They usually go flat when i'm parked. What happens if i'm driving on the freeway at 70 mph when it fails?

Tires began to lose air pressure, consumer feels this is due to the 17 inch chrome aluminum rims.
