Was driving 40mph & came upon a stop light. Was waiting at stop light when vehicle suddenly accelerated.gas pedal went tofloor. Was heading towards the water. Managed to turnsteering wheel. Hit the balanet head-on. Neither air bag deployed, an d brakes failed.
While driving they smelled gas fumes.when the consumer pulled over,noticed that there was fuel leaking out of where the fuel hose inserts into the fuel rail.the manufacturer has been contacted.this vehicle is experiencing problems associated with recall number 98v184000.
