Defective cylinder heads - rocker arm support tower failure on two vehicles. 1990 dodge dynasty w/3.3 engine and 1992 chrysler new yorker/fifth avenue w/3.3 engine.both vehicles had the exact same failure mode wherin the rocker arm support tower (cast as part of cylinder head) failed by detaching from the casting body of the cylinder head.this resulted in severe valve lash necessitating the complete replacement of both cylinder heads.both owners of the these vehicles are middle-aged and use conservative drive practices. Additionally, both vehicles were well maintained prior to failure.
Serpentine belt slipped/failed, causing power steering to fail. *dsh
Tensioner belt replaced due to belt falling off. *sd
The serpentine belt continues to pop off.occurs when turning right and going up a hill.i end up replacing the belt twice a year.
Serpentine belt tensioner made of plastic, allowing tensioner to break/serpentine belt to come off, without warning. *aw

While driving at 55 mph the automatic transmission failed w/power failure and grinding noise.please describe details.
I was given this vehicle by my mother 2 years ago, she had many repairs done. One major repair happen when the vehicle went dead while drive in a rain storm. In the 2 years that i have had this vehicle i had to replace the gear shift cable which broke and most recently my 18 year old son was taking a left turn going approximately 10-15 miles and the transmission blew up. I had to have the car towed from md to va, when the transmission mechanic called me he said that he couldn't even roll the car to the lift, he said that the transmission literally blew up, metal parts imbedded into each other. There was never any indication that the vehicle was having a problem, no gear slipping, nothing. I am greatful that my son had just gotten off the highway and that he was not traveling at a higher speed.
Differential worn out and failed, needs to be rebuilt.
I calle chrysler care and they in november 2019 told me that it still has to be fixed under the recall but in june they say that they already fixed the recall in 1996 and they didn't have to fix it. I has to do with the abs recall so i shouldn't drive it with the brakes not working to stop the car. I ended up getting another car to get myself to work.thank you time and i hope to find out if this is true though you folks.
I was on my way to church, driving in a 30 mph speed zone, going down hill, coming to a stop and it had just started raining. As i applied the brakes i started sliding/hydroplaning all over the road, first into the oncoming lane, then back to my lane, but off to the edge and finally managed to stop just at the stop sign. There was traffic all around me, but thankfully i didn't hit anyone or go off into the ravine.i had just had new brake pads put on 2 weeks before.my tires were wearing, but my mechanic/tire salesman said i didn't need new tires yet, i still had plenty of tread. As soon as i could pull over and call him, i scheduled an appt. For new tires 2 days later. I am a widow and am very careful to keep the car in good shape so my chances of getting stranded are as low as i know how to keep them. My son and some other men at church had also looked at the tires and said i didn't need to change them.so, i started wondering what could have made me hydroplane like that if the tires weren't bad, and had i spent the money on new ones needlessly?that's when i decided to research the recall site.and i found another incident almost identical to mine, complaint filed 10/06/2008. Also, the odometer doesn't work, so i really don't know the actual miles.it is more than 165,000. That is what is showing. If there is something that needs to be fixed, i need to know. The car runs good, but i don't want to be unsafe in it.that was a very scary incident and i know the lord was with me and the other drivers around me, but i don't believe in testing him, knowing that something can be done!in this incident there could have easily been a crash, injury or even death.
Abs not functioning properly.

Total brake failure occurred after the abs warning light lit up on the dashboard.
The contact owns a 1992 chrysler fifth avenue.while slowing down for a traffic light at 5 mph, the contact rear ended another vehicle.the pavement was wet at the time.the vehicle sustained $1,500 in damages.the failure was caused by the front and rear brakes not holding the tires properly in order to stop the vehicle.the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer.the vin was unknown.the failure mileage was 121,000.
When driving vehicle at 3mph there were no brakes. A mechanic said that abs pump needed to be replaced.please provide any further infomation.
