The headlights were on but the head light door was closed.so, the driver had no lights.the driver had to drive holding the lever to keep the door ajar.the consumer felt it was very unsafe to have to drive this way.the headlight doors closed while driving at night.also the two headlight lenses had turned colors. *sc

91 chrysler fifth avenue - leaking joint in oem fuel rail. I believe the original design was to be able to rotate front and back rails to align injectors during assembly. This joint is sealed at factory with no replacement parts available, except for the whole fuel rail. Leaking fuel lay on top motor and could be very hazardous if ignited.
Fuel rail leaking gas. Strong smell of gas (intermittent) for last 6 years. Only recently found cause.how much damage to my health? lucky car has not caught fire. And now can't even find a replacement part!

1991 chrysler new yorker fifth avenue v6 3.3l. I incurred 2 fuel leaks from the fuel intake fuel rail. Each occurred at both 'u' joints. The fuel is leaking directly into the engine. My research online indicates that a great number of chryslers have similar problems. Obviously simultaneous fuel leaks into an engine is extremely dangerous. Please have these recalled. Thank you.
The fuel rail feeding the fuel injection leaks at the crimp on the line. This caused a major fuel leak on under the intake manifold. I saw by searching the web site that several others have complained of the same problem. I had to have the entire fuel rail replaced at a cost of $650.48. This should have been a recall due to propensity for fire hazard. When i was inspecting the leak i got sprayed in the face and eyes with gasoline painfully.
Gas is leaking and causing fumes to come into the cab of vehicle. It hesitates to start.consumer feels this is very dangerous to health. Please provide any further information.
1991 chrysler 5th avenue- fuel rail leak at o-ring connections.
Could smell strong odor of gas while idling inside cab of car. Checked under hood and found that both ends of fuel rail are leaking. End nearest fuel injection system is dripping rapidly onto motor. Parts store does not carry this part and its not able to be repaired. I just bought this car from a dealership a month ago. :(

Dt*:the contact stated the brake pedal must be stood upon for the vehicle to stop.according to the dealership, the abs was replaced prior to the contact's purchase.the vehicle has not been seen by a mechanic for this problem.

This is the fourth time this has happened to this car.it is a 1991 chyrsler new yorker.the rear brakes have oneflat pin that comes out of the wheel cylinder.this small flat pin pushes on a thin flat part of the rear brake shoe.because the pin in flat and does not have the fork design like the older models, the pin slips off the brake shoe and over extends.this causes loss of the brake fluid and the loss of the rear brakes.i also now have pictures of what actually occurs.
