Dt:the contactreceived a recall letter in 6-2005. Concerning trans axle/floor shifter/ignition park interlock. She was waiting to get the recall repairsdone when the dealer repossed the car on 7-20-2005.she told dealer about the recal,and dealer was not worried about the recall. If someone else bought vehicle he could get it fixed. Consumer wanted to file a complaint because she was afraid that someone with childrenwill buy the car and not be aware of the recall.

Car will not start in moring after a cold night. There is also tapping in the motor untill car warms up.

Transmission failed causing the car to shift itself into second gear and stay there until you cut off the car.

Consumer heard a knocking sound coming from the transmission.took vehicle to dealer, and they replaced the lower control arm bracket.however, theknocking was still present.

I own a 1995 eagle talon.according to the office of defects investigation,there is a recall regarding service brakes, hydraulic:antilock system.when i called the chrysler eagle service center,they have told me that this recall doesn't apply to my car,i explained to them that the abs indicator light has been on for a while,which means that's there something wrong with it.they replied by saying that it has nothing to do with the recall.i am filing this complaint to find out if this recall should has been done on my car or not.please let me know what are my options in resolving this problem,thank you for your help.*nlm

The contact owns a 1995 chrysler eagle.while driving 45 mph, the control arm failed and the vehicle swayed to the right.the vehicle lost steering ability and the tire was turned to the side, and would not go forward.the vehicle was towed to a mechanic and they stated that the control arm failed.as a result, the failure caused the driveshaft, strut, and several parts relating to the control arm to fail as well.nhtsa campaign id number 00v421002 (suspension:front:control arm:lower ball joint) was referenced.the contact was informed that the parts, other than what was included in the safety recall, needed to be repaired first.the failure mileage was 115,000.

Consumer had transmission replaced due to losing acceleration pressure prior to manufacturer's recall, consumer is requesting reimbursement for replacement as well as rental car costs, the recall stated that if the lower control arm attaching brackets fail, the transmission half-shaft may pull out of the transaxle and cause a loss of power, this is what consumer's vehicle experienced.

The left front tireblewout causing the motorhome to hit a cement wall causing damage to the l/f bumper and side along wheel well, lug nuts and rim, left side gas cap and fiberglass around front bumper was broken off (tire information not given).nlm
