I did not have a accident. But i have had this car for only 15 months and i've had to take this car in for the same defect several times and many times over and over again especially the last 3 months. I've had it with this car and i can't deal with this any more. And toyota of escondido where we bought the car can't seem to get it right or give us another car.

My vehicle was first hit on the driver side by a hit and run driver. Then it went into ongoing traffic to hit another car head on and finally went on the side walk hitting a tree.

The contact owns a 2004 chrysler concorde.when the vehicle is started, the air bag light illuminates and remains lit on the instrument panel.the vehicle was taken to a mechanic and it was discovered that the side air bag malfunctioned and needed to be replaced.the air bags would not deploy in the event of a crash.the current mileage was 69,000 and failure mileage was 68,000.

I hit a car in the back, did $7500.00 worth of damage to my front end in december and the air bags never came out. It is a 2004 chrysler concorde.

May 21, 2013 at about 8 am i was on my way to work driving on the freeway when the passenger airbag deployed for no reason, it startled & shaken me to the point that it almost cause me to get into an accident, i thought that i had a tire blow out or gunshot to my windshield because i seen a flash, i pulled over and exit to the next off ramp to calm myself for about 25 min then drove my car to the car dealer service area hoping that the driver side airbag wouldn't deploy on my face as i drove. I am very concerned and hope to have some one look into this very dangerous faulty airbag issue that i've encountered and for the damage to my vehicle.please contact me regarding this complaint. Thank you

The car head lights & dash lights dim when driving. If you play with control switch it sometimes makes them work right. Car stalls and doesn't want to restart. We have done the recall for exhaust.thea/c all the sudden started making noises when stalling and now does not work makes a hissing sound. I have kept this car in great shape and have it maintained & serviced regularly. I have had several sensors replaced and the engine light refuses to go off. I put it in the shop and they said it was because gas cap was loose. That wasn't the case, car is now sitting in driveway unable to start. Had the heads removed and fuel injectors cleaned and car still won't run.

Car sputters, check engine light will come on suddenly, car will stall. Has happened while driving on freeway, as well as stop and go traffic. Has caused several near crashes. I have to pull over when car stalls, put car into park, and restart with no problems. Happens on several occasions, without regard to gas level or speed. Will also cause other components to malfunction, such as air conditioning, radio and cruise control. Has been happening for almost 6 mos now.

Electrical system, engine, transmission problems.our 2004 chrysler concorde lxi has developed many problems over the past 2 years, i will try to list them here.we have had many events of false readings from the brain of the car according to our mechanic.the check engine light comes on as does the oil and transmission light. There has been many times that the car has just cut off at different stages in driving.we have been in stop and go traffic, or going down a city street, or driving down the highway, or just come to a stop light, or just making a turn after slowing down. So as you can see the speeds that the car cuts off varies from 0 to 5 and from 5 to 40 and from 40 to 70 miles per hour.this car has sputtered, jerked, spewed black smoke, ran so rough that we thought it would shake apart.we have had to pull over to the side of the road so many times because the car cut off, that is if it would make it to the side of the road.sometimes it takes from 5 minutes to 45 minutes before the car will re crank again.we have had the car serviced regularly as it should be by certified mechanics.they have put the diagnostics machine on it so many times and the readings are always false according to them, because if it were a true reading the car wouldn't be running at all. We have been so lucky that no one has been injured or killed so far because of these problems.because we have had so many close collisions because of these problems, i am afraid for my wife who has to drive this car to work. I can only pray that something can be done about these problems before someone is injured or god forbid even killed !!!

I own a 2004 concorde. I just have hadrecall work done on this car. I called the local dealership and ask them if there was any recalls on this car because it has been stalling while driving at various speeds. If you own one of these cars call your dealership. The recall number is 18j18182 recall j18. The recall reprograms the computer.

Headlight switch back lighting in dashboard not operating. Makes switch extremely difficult to operate at night.

-the contact complained about 2002 chrysler concord.the contact made a right turn into traffic while driving 5 mph and lost power.the failure occurred with a odometer reading of 90000, the weather conditions were not a factor.the contact stated that there was no indication before the engine lost power.the contact stated that she has a 2004 chrysler lxi which she has been having the same problems, and which the dealer purchasedit backfrom her. She had the oil changed every 2000 miles and thatthe oil was clean.after the vehicle was towed to the repair shop statedsludge was found in the oil.pdated 01/22/07.

Car will stall while driving at various speeds and lose power.thankfully i have been able to steer off of the road each time.each time this has happened, the dealerships have replaced the camshaft positioning sensor at a cost of $250 each.i am on the third one.they seem to last about 10 months and then are gone again.

I have a 2004 concorde lxi. I also have had very many troubles with my car stalling while driving at various speeds and conditions. The enginewill lose power and it will take some time before it starts. It seems that this is a big problem with several models that chryslerhas produced. This problem needs to be addressedas soon as possible.

My 2004 chrysler concorde has engine failure.i have came across lots of people with the same problems with the 2.7 engines.i just bought the car 1 year ago and chrysler has told me since the car is older than three yearsthey are not liable.the dealership also has been rude to me and has lied to chryslers customer service.i have gotten oil changes but of course i don't have receipts.i should not be responsible for this they should.

Dt: the contact stated2004 chrysler concorde lxistalled while driving at60 mph, and the vehicle lost power and the speed went immediately to 30 mph. Then, thecontacthad to pull over to the side of the road and wait for the car to start again. The car started after 15 to 20 minutes. This has happenedeight times. Sometimes the car has to sit up to thirty minutes before it wouldstart. The car has been to the dealership to be checked for the stalling issue around two or three times. The dealer replaced the cam sensor. The result was the same. This time the check engine light came on. The contact took the car back to the dealer. The car is at the dealer, and they are replacing a leaky detector pump. The contacthas not been in contact with chrysler at this time. There have been several near misses. There was no indication of the problem.

The contact owns a 2004 chrysler concorde.while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would shut off.the cruise controlstopped working right before the vehicle shut off.the vehicle remained off for approximately one minute and then was able to be restarted.the check engine light remains illuminated as well.the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that nothing was wrong with the vehicle.the current mileage was 114,974 and failure mileage was 99,000.

2004 concorde engine caught on fire.prior to the fire smoke started coming through the air vents and the vehicle started losing power.the entire vehicle was destroyed.

Car is continuing to stall. Dealer cannot find what is causing. Car stalled while making a left turn and was consequently hit by another car from behind. No major damage done, as we were only traveling about 5 mph. Car sputters a lot, stalls a lot, and is not safe for me and my 3 small children to drive. Tried to trade it in because i do not feel safe anymore after the wreck, but will cause me a huge financial loss to do this.please look into this problem. This is complaint number 2 with nhtsa. I see the pacificas were just recalled because of this exact same problem... When will you look into the concords?

The contact owns a 2004 chrysler concorde.while driving 60 mph, the engine stopped running.the failure also occurs at any speed and, occasionally, the vehicle will not restart.there are no warning indicators prior to the failure.the contact was driving at a steady pace before shutting off.oftentimes, the vehicle will start back up or it has to remain parked for 2-3 minutes before restarting.the vehicle was towed to a mechanic shop, but they could not determine the cause of the failure.the failure mileage was 100,000.

On our second engine now. The second engine is now doing the same as the first before it quit. The check engine light is now on and no one can seem to tell me why the car keeps stalling while driving at a variety of different speeds and conditions.when it stalls the car is still partially on. The power steering goes out and i can not accelerate but there are still a couple of lights on the display the same ones that turn on when you turn the key half way forward. I think the electrical is still on but the engine is off. Does that make sense? i am not a mechanic, but they can't figure it out either so i guess that wouldn't help!the check engine light code refers to the catalytic converter, but i have been told that it is fine. This is a concorde lxi actually should be called pos instead of lxi.we have replaced the cam sensors, the cam shaft, battery, alternator, battery cables, the transmission, and the engine. It still quits several times a month. This all began before the warranty went out, it paid to replace the first cam sensor. This was my first car and i didn't know what to do after the warranty wore out. I still don't know what to do. Mechanics tell me to get a new car i can't afford one.

Right front side marker light/turn signal bulb burned out.cannot access this light fixture to replace light bulb.dealer states this is a $175 job.needs to dismantle inside fender lining.i elected to forego the replacement due to excessive cost.this now creates a hazardous situation for me because when changing lanes to the right, vehicle that may be in my blind spot will not see my intended turn signal.i attribute this to poor design which could contribute directly to an accident.

I asked, "who does recalls?" chrysler staff told me that the nhtsa does recalls. There may be other 2004 chrysler vehicles experiencing hood latch problems. June 14, our family of 5 was traveling from minnesota to utah. We where on hwy 160, 10 mile from tuba city, arizona, when our chrysler pacifica was rear-ended by a pickup truck . On impact my husbands drivers seat collapsed down onto mylegs pinning them between the seats. We where pushed violently into the other lane of oncoming traffic. Mark, my husband, was driving.mark grabbed the wheel and was able to pull himself up quick enough see and re-gain control over our vehicle. We then stopped safely off the side of the road. Along with this injury i have a broken hand with damage to my wrist, all from the impact of the collapsed seat.i have asked chrysler to look into this investigation.i received attitude from the first gentlemen i spoke with. I requested they go to tuba city where the vehicle is being held so they could do their own investigation. I do not yet know the outcome of this. But i do not think the seat collapsing should have happened and if this is proven to be true. Other families may also be at risk with there 2004 pacificas. Please help me look into this seat issue. I am doing all i can to help my self and family to heal and receive what compensation is just and truly due with this research. I need your help to know if this seat should have collapsed on us and if not, help us spare a possible fatal outcome for another family by making this accident public information with a possible recall.

I was backing my car out of driveway when back of seat collapsed and i found myself on my back seeing stars and my car was still moving .i was able to pull myself up and stop the caron the road without being hit.i received a concussion and a headache that is still with menow october 6, 2011. Chrysler cannot find a new seat frame and wants to put in a used one from a used or wrecked car with no warranty. I cannot afford a car payment for another car and my car is paid for. I am 67 years old! i am afraidto drive my car with a junk part in it. I have missed work from the concussion and now have no way to work unless i walk or beg a ride..

My car started making a lot of clunking and grinding noise when i would turn the steering wheel and when i would go over a bump while turning, so i took my car in to a car shop and they said that it was the tie rods on my car and that if i didn't get it fixed that i would more than likely have bad accident because the steering would lock up, so i am having my car repaired at my cost, when chrysler should have taken care of this when it was first brought to there attention. My car is a 2004 chrysler concord with only 61744 miles on it, i was lucky enough to know that there was something wrong with my car and have an appointment to get the tie rods fixed before i get killed, my appointment is nov 18, 2008.

I was driving west on hwy 8, going 5-10 miles under the speed limit and a vehicle at a side road was stopped at the stop sign.however, he then pulled out in front of me instead of waiting, so it was his fault.he even said it was his fault, and he was in a hurry as it was his last meal to deliver for meals-on-wheels.i have been dealing with back problems and medical appointments ever since, and still trying to work.also, the police report said the air bag was deployed, however they did not completely deploy; they started to but that was all, andpictures will prove the air bags did not work properly.i do not know the recall number for our 2004 chrysler concorde.ps: looks like the police report is more than 5mb so how do i send that to you? *dt

Lack of drainage increasing accident potential.no drain hole or plug the water accumulated in spare tire after each rainfall. The trunk was full of water.the consumer discovered items in the trunk wet.the consumer also noticed that the bottom would become wet without any rain.the spare tire well was full of water to a depth of over four inches. *sc

Vehicle tends to make a clicking noise from the steering column, shaking and vibration.also, occurred from the steering wheel, making the ability to control the vehicle difficult.

I did not have a accident. But i have had this car for only 15 months and i've had to take this car in for the same defect several times and many times over and over again especially the last 3 months. I've had it with this car and i can't deal with this any more. And toyota of escondido where we bought the car can't seem to get it right or give us another car.

My vehicle is a 2004 chrysler concord lxi with an automatic day/night mirror.the configuration of the rear of the vehicle and the high mount brake lamp causes the mirrors rear facing light sensor to be shadowed when a car is following at normal distances in both city and highway driving.this causes the mirror to randomly dim and brighten causing significant driving distraction from blinding lights.there is no failure as this has been a chronic condition.the manufacture refuses to look at the problem as the mirror itself is working normally.this is an issue that affects all chrysler concord models with the automatic dimming rear view mirror.

The contact owns a 2004 chrysler concorde lx. While driving approximately 35 mph, there was a loud noise outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated the lug nuts on each four aluminum wheels were loose. The technician tightened the lug nuts. The lug nuts were tightened six times on separate occasions. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 56,000.

*dt
