Takata recall. The contact owns a 2008 chrysler aspen 4x2. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 15v313000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Takata recall has not been changed and ive called severaltimes to get it changed.also im smelling gas on the inside of my truck and i have a two week old baby.

None of the airbags engaged.this was a accident that hit a semi in the front of car.the whole engine was crumbled.numerous broken bones from head to chest to knee.

My family and i were driving on the highway when my 2008 chrysler aspen began to smoke from the engine. I had the truck towed in to the shop and was told that the engine had seized up.i only had 55000 miles on the truck with regular maintenance.i had the truck fully serviced 2 days before as we were out of town.i have been doing a lot of research on the internet and this seems to be a problem with all types of dodge and chrysler engines.

Gas spills out of tank (approximately 1/4 gallon) when tank reaches capacity.this happens at all gas pumps, not a specific station.varied speed of pump and weather conditions have not changed this issue.

When fueling at any station fuel blows out the tank everywhere, about a half a gallon. It gets on the person fueling and the ground, but only when filled up until the pump cuts off.

At time of fill up, when the pump stops full spews out of the fuel filler neck.it has been this way since we purchased the car and when i brought this to the sales managers attention he played it off as no big deal.he did offer an extended warranty to purchase to have the car "fixed" so it wouldn't spew fuel on the ground or person pumping gas.i find it hard to believe this has not been addressed in a recall.

Back in april 02, 2010 i filled a complain and as of right now we haven't received any response for your department.(odi#10323492)as the raining start happening again here we have a serious concern for our life while driving this vehicle.the problem with our vehicle is that the front left wheel locked and the sub start spinning leftwise.it happened three times on february.i reported to chrysler on march 02, 2010, they sent an inspector and found nothing wrong with it, the claimed our back tires were warned out. We strongly believed since happened three times to us that there is a problem with this truck on a wet weather and needs to be put into a recall or some kind of an alert.
