While vehicle is on and running "service air bag system" message randomly appears and disappears when the vehicle is in park or in motion.service air bag indicator light also illuminates randomly after message is displayed and then goes out after a random amount of time has elapsed.took vehicle to local chrysler dealership and they said that it maybe be one of several known issues that they are aware of but no recalls have been issued on any of the possible safety issues that maybe causing the notification.they would not be able to do anything to the vehicle to fix the problem for sure and guarantee the air bags actually will work when needed.

When engaging the turn signal (particularly left turns) the windshield wipers engage. Have attempted "wiggling" this combination control lever, which has a small degree of play within its ranges of motion. Sometimes this is effective, but usually this is not. Have also attempted positioning the "play" level to each of its natural limits. Occasionally this works, but within a few turn cycles it reverts back to engaging the wipers. Vehicle is in motion when this happens, making a turn. This has been occurring for over a year.
I was driving about 50mph and things started shutting down like the radio and the instrument panel said the car was going into power saving mode. I had about 5 miles to my destination and my car stalled right before i got there but i kept up my speed and was able to coast in. I tried starting it just to see and got nothing. Tow truck came about an hour later and i was able to start it to back it up but when i turned it off, it would not start again. Even being a woman i knew this was not a case of dead battery as it happened while driving. My car was towed to my mechanic and sure enough, the alternator was bad on a 4 year old chrysler with approximately only 30,000 miles! apparently there is a recall already on my same year/make/model however "supposedly" the hemi's weren't affected.

On low beam headlights produce very low light making it difficult to drive at night.high beams produce lots of light and is great. Went to dealer and was told they have had other complaints about the headlights.they have no fix for this.called fiat-chrysler customer service and they have no fix for this problem. My only fix at this time is to drive with at night with high beams on. I purchased this vehicle 0n 08/18 as a pre owned program car.
The light on the back passenger side leaks when it rains. It leaks most when the car is sitting still.
After fueling my car and leaving the gas station the car dies when i come to a stop.i restart the car, and they it stutters, goes, stutters, and then will die again when i come to a stop.this is at low speeds.
My 4 year old chrysler started giving off a very strong smell of fresh gasoline each time i filled up the tank. The fumes were so strong i had the car on a lift looking for leaks in the rear of the car. There was no visible leaking of gasoline. The smell was also super strong out side of the rear and sides of the car to the point of fear of someone walking by and dropping a cigar and blowing up from the fumes. The smell was there while sitting and moving. The dealer advised me not to add more than 1/8 of a tank of gas from empty or the fuel would escape from the crack or hole and cause the cancerous smell. The tech at the dealer reported that the fuel was leaking at the filler connector.
Took my car to the dealer to have the fuel pump replaced. Car was repaired and picked up only to have it returned for a fuel leak complaint. Dealership said there was no leak nor evidence of a leak, however, the car is leaking fuel. After my experience i searched for any information on this topic and found others that have had a similar issue with the repair/complaint. This has not been resolved after a call to the dealership owner.

This car has the rotary dial for transmission selection. I pulledthis car has a rotary dial for the shifter. I put the vehicle in park and exited the car to close a gate. As soon as i exited the vehicle it began to roll backwards. I could not get back in the vehicle in time to stop it from exiting the garage. The driver's door caught on the garage door pillar turning it 180 degrees and pushing it into the front fender. Damage to the vehicle was $3210.05. Since the repairs were completed, the same problem has occurred two additional times, fortunately with no damage. A faulty design for sure.
I was driving on interstate 93 in boston ma. When without any warning the transmission went from drive into park and the car came to a screeching stop. I was fortunate that the vehicles behind me were able to stop in time.i was barely able to drive home and called the dealer, and they made arrangements to pick up the vehicle because i would not drive it. I was told that the valve body was no good. They ordered the part, but when they installed it, i was told that that part was also no good. The service manager said that they eventually did get the part in and advised me that the car had been repaired. As of this writing, i have not picked up the car, and quite frankly i am extremely concerned that i would not be so lucky if this happened again on the hwy.
The transmission will not shift when required. The vehicle was going around a corner, at approximately 15-20 mph the transmission hesitated. I accelerated but the transmission would not downshift. I floored the accelerator and nothing happened. The vehicle continued at the same speed of 15-20 mph. I was almost sideswiped in the process. I remained on the accelerator for almost 30 seconds and the vehicle never increased speed or shifted gears. This is not the first faulty experience with the vehicle but the final straw filing a complaint. I have had numerous issues with the transmissionup shifting, down shifting, and hesitations of this transmission.
I rented a car from fox car rental and i was renting 2016 chrysler 300 my dream car has i was driving turned right on a residential street the rear shift by it self the nob turned when i pressed on the breaks i got real scared and i went back to the car rental and told the manger that this car that is a 2016 car they just received needed to be returned to the dealer cause it malfunction when i press the breaks the nob of the2016 chrysler 300 gear shift changed gear on its own.i was only going 5mph that is very dangerous especially if you are driving in a down stiff road or street i do not think the nob gear does not lock so it changed rear on its own when you do a sudden break
Transmission is chages ruff and pop. Once you start to take of the 1 gear and 2 gear is hard shifting take time to engaged . And when you slow down it ruff and a real hard change
After the recall of july 2019 to address issue with rotary shifter, i started having issue with reverse not engaging, takes several attempts by turning car off, etc to get it to go into reverse. Has been to dealer 4 times, no check engine light or codes, said that there was nothing that they could do. I called chrysler customer service and filed a complaint. They contacted the dealer and were told that they could not find any problem. Chrysler ask that i take the car to the dealer and leave it until it locked up on them. The problem is intermittent, sometimes several days, they would not provide a loaner and we cannot afford a rental for what could be days to weeks, so chrysler closed the case because we would not cooperate.
Electronic transmission control. Engine stalling the light is staying on and the car loses power (lugging) while driving

The car drifts/ moves forward while in park. It caused an accident while initially stationary in a parking lot.

Steering has felt "sticky" for about a week. It is difficult to turn the steering wheel at all, and it would get stuck in certain positions so i physically couldn't turn or change directions. The problem wasn't too bad at first, but then got extremely bad as of 08/07/2019. Steering was almost impossible, and the steering wheel would get stuck n almost every turn, making driving almost impossible, and very dangerous. As of 08/09/2019, the steering wheel is almost constantly stuck, and requires extreme force, or slamming on the brakes to turn or change directions at all. Even slight turns are difficult and dangerous. The car is now completely unsafe to drive, and has swerved off the road several times, and even scraped a divider because the steering wheel was locked into place and couldn't be corrected. These were all while driving, driving on the highway, steering was slightly easier. But that is where the crash with the divider happened. Driving on city streets was more difficult because there are more turns and they are sharper. This is now completely impossible. When the car is stationary, or in park, the steering wheel is locked in place and can't be turned.
The contact owns a 2016 chrysler 300. While driving 20 mph, the steering wheel seized, which resulted in a front end collision. The contact stated that the power steering and air bag indicators illuminated. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The front end on the driver's side was damaged, but the vehicle was not destroyed. The contact sustained injuries to the right knee, chest, and lower back. The contact's wife struck her head on the passenger side window and sustained a back injury. Medical attention was required. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and repaired. The vehicle was not diagnosed at the time. The dealer was not contacted. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that there were no recalls for the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000.
Interior door panels are warped and lifted. I complained to chrysler along with many others, and my complaint was denied twice. This manufacturing defect causes temperature inside my vehicle to be compromised due to the lack of insulation.
The contact owns a 2016 chrysler 300. The contact stated that over time the door panel lifted and separated from the door frame causing the locking mechanism to malfunction on occasions. The failure affected the front driver's and passenger's side doors. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,000.
The front, passenger door of my vehicle is becoming warped and has detached from the door near where the panel meets the window.i've been researching this issue online and have discovered it is a widespread problem with chrysler/dodge vehicles.my original dealer warranty has expired.i filed a recall complaint through the chrysler website and am waiting for a response.please help in any way you can.thank you.
The inside front passenger side door panel is lifting up away from the window. This car is garage kept and i have been working from home since march 23, 2020 so it has not been left out in the sun. The interior vinyl is pulling away and separating from the body. This happened when stationary and is getting increasingly worse.

The contact owns a 2016 chrysler 300. The contact stated that the front and rear doors panels detached from the panels at the windows. The contact stated the failure was called de-laminating. The vehicle was taken to heritage chrysler dodge jeep ram owings mills (11212 reisterstown rd suite a, owings mills, md 21117 (866) 771-8050) where the vehicle was diagnosed and the contact was informed that the panel needed to be heated and adjusted. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted however, no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 30,000.
Air bags didn't deploy, had an accident on aug.28th 2019./damaging right front bumper & right side quarter panel.is this normal or is it a defect. Because i'm so glad i didn't have my kids or no one else in the car. But my dr did indeed had an wheeplation that i had damaged my left side solstice nerve.

After a recall was performed on 6/11/19 (u08) car started skipping sporadically upon acceleration. This lead to it stalling altogether sporadically upon accelerating from a stop. The dealer (autonation chrysler jeep pembroke pines) has not been able to reproduce the problem after 3 weeks and, because it does not show up in the computer, the dealer says it's like it hasn't happened. They have no idea of how to repair my car.it is still at the dealer. I have shown them a photo of the error message on my dashboard:shift to p then desired gear, and a video of the gearshift blinking in drive position.the only way the car will move when this happens is after i place the car in park and then back in drive. This is very hazardous as i am in traffic when this happens at a stop sign or stop light (especially in left turn lane). I do not drive on the expressway because of a fear of having to stop all of a sudden, and the car stalling. I have already experienced it skipping while on the expressway, which was scary. The dealer said they had sent a starcase to chrysler to assist in the repair, but when i contacted chrysler, they said no starcase has been filed. Even if the dealer is able to reproduce the problem, there will be no record of it in the computer.i believe the computer problem needs to be address, as well as the stalling hazard.
A/c blowing warm air.car is only 3 years old.told i would have to take it to dealer and pay $135 for a diagnostic plus what it would cost t repair and re-charge system.i have another car that is 20 years old and the a/c still works.i feel this is a defect in the car and ishouldn't have to pay for it.
I was in a front end collision with a tree. Everyone kept asking me about air bags deploying.they did not none. I thought nothing much of it untili realized why people were asking.i questioned the adjusted , he stated they should have deployed they should have deployed from the impact position. Well none did. And something about the seat beltlockingor didnt lock. . my firstreal accident i dont know my h.however i did find out there is a issue. Now i'm on the questioning side of why didnt they deploy.
I was told that the a/c evaporator unit is not working and needs to be replaced. Service advisor at hemet chrysler also stated that chrysler sent out a part bulletin on this part since they are known to fail, that chrysler will be replacing the part at the end of year with new part. This is my third chrysler vehicle that is having the same issue. I currently own 2015 dodge charger, 2015 dodge durango, and 2016 chrysler 300s that i'm having issues with. I did contact chrysler for some assistance since it's a $2700 repair since my vehicle is no longer under warranty and since i'm having the same issue in all three cars. Their needs to be a recall for this part since i think they know of heir a/c units are failing.

The rotary shifter functions in a manner that when exiting the car it will allow you to leave the vehicle while in gear as when pushing the start button will not turn off the engine unless it is in park, it is easy to forget or otherwise notice the vehicle is still in gear and running when exiting the vehicle, it happened to my wife and could have caused more harm than what actually happened as it was stopped by a truck parked ahead of her!
