I took my car into the autonation dealership located at 11200 north fwy, service road e, fort worth, tx 76177 for service in mid 2016. While speaking with the service advisor regarding the work being performed on my car. I advised i had received information regarding the recall and asked if they could replace the damaged part since my car was already there. They said they didn't have the part yet but that they would call me once they did. I asked how long it would be until the necessary part (s) to fix the recalled issues. Their response was that they didn't know but that they would notify me when they had the parts. I was told to just continue using my car until the parts arrived.i expressed concern about continuing to drive the car with a faulty air bag especially since my 14 year old often sat in the front passenger seat with my younger son age 2 1/2 sitting directly behind them. I stated i am permanently disabled and sometimes cannot drive so my husband and my care assistant often drove for me thus putting even more people at risk.after not receiving notification from the dealership 2 months later, i called several times, leaving messages yet didn't receive a response.i feel i have been more than understanding and patient. That day i bought my car to the dealership i should have been provided a rental car comparable to my 300 to use until the parts arrived and my car fixed.i have been driving around now for over 15 months in an unsafe vehicle. I would appreciate some assistance please in resolving the issue.our recall should have been managed with providing me a rental car similar to my 300 until the parts arrived and our car fixed. What steps do i need to take to get my car fixed and us a rental? any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated please.i am hearing impaired so communication via email is best.

On september 29, 2014, i was involved in a mva. A lady failed to yield at the stop sign and i t-boned her as i proceeding through the intersection. The impact total my vehicle completely but none of my airbags deployed. There were no serious injuries from the accident but this has made me hesitant about purchasing any chrysler, dodge, jeep vehicles. I was told by my attorney that since there weren't any major catastrophe's an investigation into the airbags would cost to much money for the firm. I want people to see how invaluable their lives are when we spend our money on manufacturers products. A person has to loose a limb or die in order for an attorney to do what they are getting paid for.

Came out of store, turned iginition over and smoke started coming out of vents drove about 25 feet and had to evacuate car smoke was choking us. Husbandlifted hood and no smoke there. So he went to the battery in the trunk and disconnected the cable thinking it would stop but the smoke got thicker. Flames started coming out of the dash. A citizen came running with a fire extinguisher and was putting the fire out and the fire dept came and finished it.
My car wouldn't start by pushing start button. I called a local (laredo) chrysler dealership they said it was probably the key just needed to be programmed, since message showed key damaged. I took the button off and was able to drive car with key. After, $160.00 they returned the car to me without replacing the start button back on-- which was in cup holder. I replaced the start button and to my disappointed, car still didn't start. Ok, 1st ?, you'd think they would have tested the vehicle, since that was the initial complaint. Message still shows --key damaged! service mgr. Claims that i am already getting off easy because he didn't charge me labor, really what labor--it doesn't start. Now, he claims it's not the key ...it's something else and there is no way they could have known --now i need to pay an additional $187, plus 1/2 for labor--he's cutting me a deal on the labor fees. Needless to say i asked to speak to his supervisor and heis it, wouldn't allow me nor would tell me his supervisor was. He said he was the one who made the decisions and it's final. So, i'm out $160, still didn't get my car fixed. Upon researching i saw several complaints on the (win) system for these vehicles. Is it a recall and is the dealership required to fix it? also, how can we as consumers be better educated per say to be aware of what these dealerships should be repairing/replacing based on recalls. I can bet they are not volunteering recall information at the dealership. And how can we be certain that they are actually doing the job and not just sending the car to service and not really repairing what the recall is advising to fix.
The totally integrated power module (tipm) has failed on my vehicle. At first it started as a dead battery which was replaced, then a parasitic draw which could not be diagnosed right away, then caused my started not to have power. The car would turn itself on while it was turned off and make the lights bug out and horn sound. Then it would stop and start again multiple times draining the battery. I was driving between states and i stopped for gas when my car no longer started and was stranded there for hours before it would start again. Its stationary when the car would turn itself on and off.

When driving my vehicle on the road. At least once every 2 days my car shuts completely off, but power and radio still on..my engine shuts down
On november 09, 2010 i purchased a 2010 chyrsler 300c with a hemi. On the same day i bought the vehicle the driver memory seat wouldnot return to position when the vehicle is shut off. This was an intermittent problem. On november 10,2010 i returned to the dealership where the vehicle was purchased and complained of the problem. I have now had the vehicle to dealer on three separate occasions.repair orders states vehicle is working as designed, shut car off first then open door. If door is opened first, will not work and the third repair order states duplicated by two employees of dealership. Vehicle was checked against stock units they all perform the same every 7th to 8th time - the seat does not return for easy exit. I was also informed there was a bulletin for this problem and it has to do with a sensor but as of this time there is no fix for the problem because chyrsler can not figure out how to fix the failure. The dealership informed me i could have the remote start button taken out and use the key and the seat will work everytime. Ignition switch caused engine to shut down while driving and caused problems with starting.after three trips to dealer problem was found to be the ignition switch and was replaced.stalling while driving is a safety issue that should be cause for a recall.note! the expensive ignition switch was replaced at my cost. I have the repair invoices.

Alternator failed, the vehicle stalled after two jumps
The car would not shut off in park. Wcm was not sending shut off messages to pcm
Alternator fails causing engine stalling while drivingfor vehicles equipped with a 5.7l or 3.6l engine and a 160, 180 or 220 amp alternator, the alternator of the vehicle may fail, resulting in the engine stalling while driving. A failed alternator would also lead to a dead battery, preventing the vehicle from having electrical power to start. The alternator in affected vehicles also could possibly short circuit, causing an engine fire.the car turned off while in the drive position. I was leaving the company parking deck. I received twobattery jumps the car turned on and once the jumping cables was removed and the gear switched to the position of drive the car turned off. I also purchased a new battery this year as it happened before earlier this year

I explained that i had no reason since i had my cruise control on 70 mph. He gave me a traffic citation for reckless driving. Upon my return to kentucky, i took my vehicle in to my dealer to have the speedometer and cruise control checked. My dealer's technician could not replicate the problem. They ran a 23 point check (whatever that means) and could not find anything wrong. I believe that there is a problem between thecruise control and the speedometer. Out of nowhere the hazard light comes on and stays on for long periods of time
I was backed out of my driveway and proceeded down the street when the abs and esc light both came on at the same time. I saw on the internet that this same defect was in 2011 and 2012 cars and they were being repaired. I was told by chrysler that this would not cover my car even thoughthe risk is the same.
When coming to a stop at red light vehicle rpms dropped almost turned off. Car wouldnt accelerate at normal rate of speed and the steering was difficult and the vehicle was very unstable feeling like no control of the car. This has happened a few times and its kinda scary.
When driving my vehicle on the road. At least once every 2 days my car shuts completely off, but power and radio still on..my engine shuts down
Was driving down the rd in city limits when lightning bolt light came on as well as traction control light...car bucked through intersection before stalling in middle of rd nearly causing an accident... Drove immediately to dealership while stalling at every light on way there.. Dealership claimed it was egr tube seal replaced as i started to drive off lights came back on ... No fix... So then dealer changed map sensor said didn't know what else could be problem.. Driving home car stalled again.. The next day was a holiday so i got the car home called service they told me it may be learning the car and to continue to drive.. A week later still stalling everyday. Called service and left message with no return call.. Can not keep paying for rental or them to tell me they don't know. I've had this car maybe 8 mos and had all service done on it... This is ridiculous!

While driving at 35mph with the ac on the car shut down. I was able to coast to stop and re-start the car after a few minutes.several days later the car shut down again at 40 miles per hour. With no power steering the car was difficult to get over to the side of the road. Car started again after several tries and i made it home.
While driving on the expressway as well as on city streets the car is cutting off without any warning.
While driving on my way to work i was pulling up to a stop sign before merging onto busy traffic on a main road when my car cut off.i tried starting it again but it would turn over but it would not stay running.after tow attempts i stopped trying turned on my hazards and signaled for the cars behind to try to go around (as this was not easy as i was blocking traffic). No warning lights were on, or came on previously, i maintained adequate 3000 mi oil changes, and maintenance.meanwhile a police officer helped me put the car in neutral and moved me out of the way of traffic and stayed near while i waited on the tow truck.i am grateful that my car did not stall out on the highway while i was transporting my child.the thought of my car suddenly stalling is frustrating and scary!with the mileage of my car, the engine should be the least of my worries.
On may 9th i went to pick up my check and i freaking ran over run over a big rock in the street and it it put like a little hole in my oil pan well this is my first car i've had already my second car i haven't had it for that long so what i did was i'm going to try to get home as the oil slowly leaking out but i was going to try to get home and i drive for like for like 3 minutes at like 20 at like 25 miles per hour 30 miles per hour and like probably like three or four minutes from that incident and i stopped before that too to get the money and then i tried to raise home whatever i'm driving and in the key pops out the addition but it always pops out the ignition crazy and s*** but then the car just like like the lights just act like they they just died on me while i was driving he pops out the lights or whatever and then i stayed that day with my car that happened at 5:00 i was trying to patch up the oil coming out and it turned out to be 2:00 when i noticed it was 2:00 and the oil still coming out all this extra s*** i was probably 1:00 and i bought a oil i bought a one thing oil just to keep keep it in there and stuff cuz i thought i lightweight patched up and i end up getting it towed to my house and i'm the person i'm going to make sure it gets fixed before i drive this stuff is 138,000 miles only had it for like 2 months now would be like three or four months but yeah and put the oil pan on and somebody stole my radio so i don't know they f***** up some stuff in there but i go to turn on like finally turning the car and stuff and then it is giving me a mobilizer warning it it dies out the battery when i was trying to do it excessively but it's like this stuff thing going on the key won't f****** stand in ignition you like pops out every time i turn it all the way over no matter what key it is only got two of the fob and the transponder the door maybe they've been broken into or something so it looks all sketchy can't put a key into the door and p0 513..

On 1/12/2017 i took my chrysler 300 to moore chrysler because of a growling noise in the engine they said they didn't know what it was so they kept it two days called said it was done payed 1517.99 dollars drove it home, pulled in the garage heard the same sound as when i took in the first time called them told me bring it back for another 1400.00 dollars we'll look at it no way took to a man who builds engines for a living he took the oil cap off put his ear down to the engine and said your timing chain guides are gone there rubbing metal to metal and if you don't get it fixed you will blow an engine. He said this is a safety issue because if you are driving on a freeway at 70mph and the engine blows you have no control of the vehicle so i may kill or hurt myself or those with me or cause an accident killing or hurting someone else. Chrysler has known about this since 2014 or earlier but they refuse to fix the problem on the 2.7 engines how many people will have to die or be hurt before this problem is fixed? it cost me an other 1100.00 dollar to have my car fixed but i know it's done right. I feel now i can take family and friends in my car and feel safe. Someone needs to tell chrysler corp. To get off some of the millions of dollars they get from customer who buy their cars and fix what needs to be fixed 1517.99 dollars to chrysler walk around money but to a vietnam veteran on a fixed income it's a lot of money.
One morning my husband was on his way to work around 6 am when suddenly the car shut off with no warning or indicator. The car was still under the manufacturer warranty so we had the car towed to the dealer where we purchased it (carmax). Upon further review we were told the engine blew due to sludge build up and they needed our maintenance receipts.even after provided the documents for the last year they still refused to cover it under the warranty because chrysler doesn't cover sludge build up. We were advised to research this problem by a shop that sells these 2.7 liter engines because it was a common problem among these engines nation wide. Chrysler said they did not have enough complaints to issue a recall.unfortunately they'll recognize this defect when there is a catastrophic pile up on the road and people lose their lives. When slamming on the brakes to avoid an accident the abs does not engage. The tires lockup the car slides, but thankfully it stopped before hitting the other car. Just bought car and my husband is in the service so the car is used rarely but at least once a week, hardly put any miles on it either...yet having issues; not starting.jumped it and went and was told i needed a new battery, replaced battery, a few days later engine light comes on, told it was a code p0456 which 80% of the time is a loose gas cap, tightened it, said light should go off in a few days, went to open and start car in a few days, nothing, no turnover, no clicking, no nothing!though tit was the fob key, so locked everything up and went to get other fob key and now i am totally locked out of car, can't even use metal keys or get in trunk to try to jump (battery in trunk, no key entry), can't open hood from outside either.called dealer, spoke with several supposedly knowledgeable service person and others and no one has ever heard of such a thing ever but will gladly charge me a lot fo money to have it towed in and then they can try to figure out what is wrong with ti ($$$$).just want to buy another car at this point, when can i call this a lemon????
My chrysler 300 wireless ignition node ( win) exhibiting a binding condition of the solenoid latch. As a result of the defect my key can be removed from the ignition switch (win module) prior to placing in park. I have to use force to put key in ignition and use force to pull key out of ignition. I spoke with a chrysler customer care representative name michelle and she told me that my vehicle does not fall within the build date for this recall even though it has similar traits. Michelle told me that my vehicle was built on december 10, 2009 on the 19th hour. The recall only applies to vehicles built january 18- march 11, 2010.

Vehicle stalled for no reason, taken to dealership and no apparent problem except needing fuel when fuel gauge showed 1/4 tank available .second incident today 10/29/12 vehicle stalled again. Fuel warning light didn't turn on because it showed tank had 1/4. Apparently vehicle needed fuel. When stopped at gas station. Didn't fill up completely but dispenser will stop as is tank was full. Wouldn't allow to fill tank to the max.
Specific problem: heath ventilation system. The specific problem with all of the chrysler 300 2010 models are the heating (or) interior heating system. Straight to the point. When the motor is running, whether your are traveling or parked idle (motor running) for about an hour or two,the vehicle would start getting warm and you would feel the heat coming from the arm rest and under the dash board even though you have the heat turned off, and especially in the summer months. Here is the catch. Say you are traveling on the highway or local streets for two (2) hours, you would feel the arm rest very warm and your feet are warmer than usual. If you lift the arm rest up and stick your hand inside the pocket you would feel the heat coming out of there. You also feel the heat coming from under the dash board by the brake and gas pedals. When traveling and breathing-in the heat you would feel like you are tired and want to sleep, when in fact you don't. This is happening in all of the above mentioned model, 2010 of chrysler. I first noticed it in 2011 when i got the first vehicle, and then in 2016 when i got a second (2nd) one (chrys. 300 2010) (used). When air traveling i usually rent the same type of vehicle from rental car companies and the same thin is happening with the heat coming out of the arm rest and the from the dash board (floor). I meant to write about this matter for a while, but only now i am getting to it. In closing, here is what your agency should do in conducting your own survey. Have your drivers or any employees that has the above make, model and year vehicle, travel in it for two (2) hours, then have them feel the arm rest, they would see how warm it is. Have them lift up the arm rest and place their hand inside, ask them if it is hot or warm. Ask them how warm is their feet there at the brake and gas pedals. You would agree that something is wrong.

Upon my return to kentucky, i took my vehicle in to my dealer to have the speedometer and cruise control checked. My dealer's technician could not replicate the problem. Engine stalled.restarted. Cleaned electric control throttle.ran 2 days with no problem except for rough idling (this was happening before first shut down).engine stall, restarted.drove home. Today engine stalled again. Two of incidents occurred while stationary and once in motion.
Electronic throttle control blinking and car has no power. I was on the highway and it would not go when giving it some gas. The pedal was to the floor.
Vehicle was purchased from carmax. The next day after purchase i experienced jolts with accelerating or coming to a stop. It seem to worsen when the temperatures were about 30 degrees. By warming the car it would alleviate some of the problem, but still occurred. Took it to the dealership at least three times, they claim to find no issue. Once they did a pcm/tcm software update, but it did not correct the problem. I even informed to check the converter, but chrysler failed to do it. Now here we are and the temperatures are dropping the problems is happening more frequently. It is obvious that there is some sort of transmission problem that chrysler is failing to admit. I will be taking it to the dealership again since the problem is happening. The car only have about 35000 miles on it. My previous 2007 chrysler 300 performed like a dream compared to the new model that i have. I wish chrysler will step up and take responsibility, but i know that would never happen.

My car is a lemon and i want to be refunded, either a new car or my $25,000 cash that i paid for the car in 2010. Now my car is being recalled for dangerous air bags!!! also all of my tire pressure sensors are defective. My car's brakes are warped! on a highway in motion my brakes make noise and the steering wheel shakes! the tire pressure sensor light stays on and doesn't go out on the dashboard.
Whenever i make a right turn into oncoming traffic , the esp traction comes on and slows my car down, this happen at a low rate is speed, even when it's wet or when it dry, this has been occurring every time i make a right, i thought it's only suppose to do this when it's raining and it has slippery roads, but it found it all the time. I'm afraid it would cause an accident when i pull out into traffic, because of how it slows my vehicle down. Thank you
