- the contact owns a 1998 gmc yukon.the contact stated that there were strong gas fumes coming from the vehicle.the contact noticed a large puddle of gas under the vehicle which was parked in the garage.two people became sick from the fumes coming into the house.the failure mileage was 23,032.the vehicle was driven to a repair shop.the check engine light was on .the fuel module assembly was replaced. Driver's side brake line rupture causing brake system failure.
1998 chevrolet tahoe abs system activates at speed below 5 mph regardless of road conditions. This results in stopping distance longer than necessary. A recall of 1999 to present tahoes has already been initiated and my 1998 chevrolet tahoe has the same problem.
