While driving at about 25-30 mph consumer applied brake, car accelerated up to 80 mph. Hit 2 vehicles and a tree before coming to stop. Air bags did not deploy. Consumer took key out of ignition, did not stop motor from running, fire department shut engine off by blocking tail pipe, then disconnected battery. Took to dealer, total loss, contacted chevrolet, was given request number, but has not heard back. One person was injured in accident.
Driver hit street sign and then 5 foot enbankment with front end of vehicle . Driver's side airbag did not deploywhich could have resulted in injuries .vehicle was a total loss.
When the vehicle was hit at 50 mph in the front, the center the air bags did not deploy.the dealer has been notified.*nlmthe seat gave away as well.*scc

Riding down the road, stopping at a stop light/stop sign, and taking off from sign/light. Acts like it's going to cut off and sometimes does. When i take off, i'm not sure whether it's going to go or cut off (sorta like you maybe getting ready to run out of gas)close to several accidents. If this vehicle cuts off in the middle of crossing roads/4 lanes, this could be fatal. It's like this problem comes and goes, you never know. Sounds and acts like something is clogged up or sticks causing loss of engine vaccum.nothing has been done about this and i can't afford to get it looked at anytime soon. Also, scared to go out at night with not knowing what could happen.
Engine started making a noise like it was a deisel engine from the day i drove the van i reported it several times, finaly had it replaced, and still makes the same noise. Someone said it must be the oil pump they replace it, it's still the same .when i start it up makes that noise only.
Vehicle fire.
There is a knock when the vehicle is started, consumer feels there is a defect in the engine.
Air conditioning unit failed.
The fuel pump failed.

The seat brackets on the front of the driver's side power seat broke.
While driving about 45 mph , coming to a stop the abs brakes resisted, causing the truck to collide.after the collision, the truck rolled over.. The brake pedal went to the floor of the truck.the dealer will be contacted by the owner's attorney.

Driving at approximately 35- 40 mph, preparing to make standard stop, applied brakes ,defect in abs caused vehicle to experienceextended stopping distance. Dealer has replaced master cylinder,but defect is still occurring.
Abs brakes went out on vehicle and the result was an accident. Cause is unknown. Please describe.

Passenger doors leak anddo not open easily.
Noisy front end.
The shock absorber bracket broke off on front right frame due to rust and thin metal dealer will look at it but does not know if he can fix itto me this is a bad engineering job on gmspartthank you.
Vehicle sold to consumer with defective rear end suspension which failed shortly after purchase (attorney for consumer). Mjs
The bead failure caused a flat, the tread separation failures became known when the tire was brought in for repair.all four tire had similar failures of tread separation.only the one from canada had the bead failure.i will attempt to send photos. (dot number: vnhl1py406tiresize: p235/75r15)

Intermittentlywindshield wipers giving the owner no indication.dealer has not been able to duplicate the problem.
Windshield leaks.
Windshield wipers/washer fails to operate when it is raining or whenwind is blowing. Consumer must pull over when this system fails.please provide any additional information/attachments.consumer has taken vehicle to dealership since february of 1996, and nothing has been done regarding this.
When unexpectedly, the front passenger wheel came flying off, without warning, four of the steel pins that the tire is mounted on the hub had snapped.
