Driver side airbag did not deploy during head on collision, speed 50 mph, vehicle turned over, hit on front again, airbag still did not deploy, vehicle totaled..
Vehicle caught on fire due to a short in the light switch. Consumer took vehicle to dealer & informed by mechanic it was electrical wiring that caused the fire.
Headlamp assembly in both the right and left headlamp failed.
When filling the gas tank, the fuel overflow spills out,hitting the tail pipe which could cause a fire. Dealer not able to correct.this van was converted by starcraft. Model st20 series.
When the vehicle is placed in the park position the vehicle does not go into drive. Consumer, therefore, needed to turn the ignition half-way, placed the vehicle in neutral and restarted the vehicle. Then placed the vehicle from neutral into drive in order for the vehicle to go into gear.

While attempting to stop at an intersection, the brakes failed, causing the vehicle to strike the rear of the vehicle stopped ahead, consumer later received a recall regarding longer stopping distances with the abs, attorney robert clark for client.
Consumer received manufacturer's recall notice c99046/abs: hydraulic anti-skid brakes.vehicle was repaired by dealer.but problem with abs brakes continued toreoccur.dealer notified, and informed consumer that repairs were made.
Was driving at approximately 5 mph, going downslight hill whenabs brakes did not stop on dry pavement.they also did not stop on streets with ice spots. Vehicle kept rolling for about 60 feet, dealer said cannot not find any problem if abs light is not coming on.
While driving brakes had no pressure, making it difficult to stop the vehicle. Took vehicle to the dealer, and was told she needed a master cylinder. As soon as the consumer got the vehicle out of the repair shop the same thing happened. The master cylinder was changed twice. Also, when the vehicle was in the repair shop mechanic had an accident with the vehicle due to this problem.
Seatbelt attaches across middle of neck! told not to place under arm by supvs'r.this design flaw has been known since first tests in 1972! how many injuries & fatalities have been caused by similar defects?????
The post in the door frame which keeps the door closed is cracked, not allowing the door to shut securely. Cause unknown. *ml
Windshieldwipers intermittently turn itself off while on. Advised by dealer that it was proabably a circuit breaker overload.dealer/manufacturer notified, and informed consumerrepair would only be made atcost to consumer.*ml
