The cam broke on my 3.4chevy venture van.the van is services and oil changed on schedule. The engine just stopped on a vacation causing me to rent a van and pay towing.
The contact owns a 1998 pontiac trans sport. The contact stated that when making a left turn the steering wheel became very difficult to turn and he was unable to complete the turn. The vehicle was towed to his home.the failure was not diagnosed by a dealer nor was the vehicle repaired. The manufacturer advised him that his vin was not included in the recall. The failure and current mileage was approximately 205,000.
