I was involved in an accident on 1/15/16 in which i was sideswiped by another vehicle.upon impact, i had no brakes and no steering control.this caused me to rear end another vehicle and hit a tree head on.the airbags never deployed.i was unable to stop the vehicle or control it.i could have been killed or killed someone else.i am very concerned.i have had the truck in the shop on several occasions with electrical issues, yet the dealership could not find anything or it was minor corrections.i have been very concerned with the electronics of this vehicle since i bought the truck in august 2015.the insurance company totaled the truck.

I was stopped at a red light and struck from behind by another smaller vehicle pushing me into a minivan in front of me.on initial impact, the drivers seat was dislodged from the mounting frame. When i hit the minivan in front of me, the airbags did not deploy and my shoulder seat restraint did not engage causing my eye to strike the steering wheel. I have nerve damage as a result of the seat belt not engaging and the airbags not deploying. The vehicle sustained enough damage, including frame damage, that it was considered a total loss.it was 6 weeks old at the time of the incident.i was the only person in the accident who required medical attention.i believe the seat mounting failed, the airbags failed to properly deploy and the shoulder restraint significantly failed.i have pictures indicating the seatbelt fully extended, but did not engage, and will no longer retract.state farm is holding the vehicle pending a possible investigation by nhtsa.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. The contact stated that while driving approximately 14 mph on a gravel road, both the driver and passenger side air bags deployed. The contact and the passenger sustained injuries. The contact required medical attention. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the failure was caused by the rough road and that the vehicle functioned as designed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 9,300.

Affects all current chevrolet vehicles currently sold into the usa.chevrolet has begun using the backup lamps (reverse lights) to illuminate the area around the vehicle even when the vehicle is off and not in reverse gear; typically when the driver is accessing & egressing the vehicle, or has actuated the door lock remote.the result is a vehicle appears to be reversing, or about to reverse, even though it's not capable of movement.approaching vehicles assume the chevrolet is about to move, yet are unable to verify the driver can see them and so can't proceed without escalating impact risk; those who do pass will focus attention on the potential movement of the chevrolet rather than scanning for general pedestrian traffic.in addition, use of backup lights in this manner can teach children to disregard backup lights as a potential movement indicator, and increases their chances of runover by walking behind a vehicle that is truly in reverse and about to move.according to fmvss 108 the use of backup lamps shall comply with applicable sae standards such as:sae j387 apr20143.4.1 backup functiona lighting device used to provide illumination behind the vehicle and to provide a warning signal to pedestrians and other drivers when the vehicle is backing up (reversing) or is about to back up.3.4.2 backup lamp(s) (reversing)lamp or lamps providing the backup function; more commonly referred to as a ?reversing lamp? in ece regulations.(also listed as a road illumination device).

On monday october 5, 2015, i was driving truck at approximately 60 mph on highway when suddenly all electronics went black and complete loss of power on highway.luckily, i was able to pull of to side of road.i turned the key to off position (engine was not running) and waited several minutes then turned truck on and it started.the traction light kept coming on and off but the truck did not loose power again-thankfully.i could have been killed or caused a serious accident.

Use this truck for commercial purposes to haul trailers. Truck has turned off while driving 4 times. Three while driving with trailer when it hits rough road or under construction road and takes hard jolt to front end. First you are driving, then you hit bump or dip in road and you notice you have no steering, when you look down you notice whole display is shut down ( like it was never on) with no warning lights displayed. You have to put truck into neutral while driving and restart. Last time it happened had 30 foot trailer on truck and were in a downhill position with a turn and no steering capability ( no antilock or trailer brakes because they need electricity to operate)and 300 ft from going off embankment and then dropping 100ft into a gully. The trucks whole electrical system turns off shutting down everything in the truck. Own 7 trucks and have owned 20 plus trucks over the years. I have had design flaw issues and just fluke issues that just happen to that one truck. This really seems more like a design flaw, either in ignition with their new keys ( have a 2012, this ignition is defiantly different) or the electrical system, or maybe they added some sensor that shuts truck off if in a front end impact. If i am right this will kill someone, the truck gives you no warning before turning off and most people are unaware they can shift a car into neutral and restart while driving and since it has happened while pulling trailers this is very dangerous not just for the driver and passages of the vehicle but every other car or truck on the roadway with it. Example of this, the last time when we could not steer and could not go with the turn of the road, there was a car in the second lane and the trailer went into that lane, the car had to make evasive manuviers to avoid impact with trailer.

After sitting for two days, i went out to start my 2015 chevrolet silverado to drive to town and it was dead - no power, lights, horn, ignition, nothing.the vehicle was absolutely stone cold dead.having two decades in the car restoration business, i grabbed my battery charger and hooked it up and charged the battery for 4 hours. Attempting to start the silverado again resulted in the same thing - stone cold dead.i swapped the batteries to no avail.the vehicle still wasn't powering up.i looked for blown fuses, loose connectors, all with negative results.i had the truck towed to the dealer 106 miles away.the next day the dealer advised it started right up after a jump start.my reply was that is simply incorrect and i repeated the steps i went through.they replied they wished to keep it for a few days.ultimately i had to trade the vehicle because the dealership stated the truck wasn't designed to operate in a dusty environment.my reply was that i bought it to use on my ranch and they knew that to begin with.they advised the dust permeated the body control module, engine control module, and human interface and today's trucks simply are designed for that.

The contact rented a 2015 chevrolet silverado. While preceding into an intersection and making a right turn, the vehicle suddenly shut off. After restarting the engine, the vehicle operated as normal. During the incident, the ignition key erroneously moved from the run to the auxiliary position and caused the vehicle to shut off. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,000.

When shifting the vehicle out of park, if the tilt steering wheel is in the full up position, and the shift lever is pulled fully rearward so as to shift out of park, then the shift lever will hit and be stopped from moving by the ignition key. If you force the situation by pulling back and down with more than normal force, the key and key switch takes quite an abnormal load from the shift lever. I reported this to the local dealer and was told that this is normal, because someone else had reported the same problem. This is not normal. There is an easy solution to this problem. The handle part of the ignition key needs to be shorter. If this situation is not fixed, i fear that the ignition key switch assembly will eventually take damage.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. While driving approximately 10 mph, the four wheel drive was activated and the front end of the vehicle locked up. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where the cause of the failure was undetermined. The technician stated that the computer system had to be reprogrammed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 11,214.

Ignition switch and key came out of steering column while driving.when i pulled off road and parked, the ignition switch internals and key came off in my hand. Not able to shut engine off.called onstar, they could not shut off engine. Truck was flatbedded to dealer while still running. Risk of steering wheel locking causing loss of control. Steering wheel makes clattering noise not connected to wheels at times. Instruments dimming and flashing when turning wheel at times

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. While drivingapproximately 55 mph, the radio and all the warning indicators on the instrument panel failed to work. The next day, the radio was not working and the vehicle would not start. After a while, the vehicle was driven to a dealer, but they could not duplicate the failure. The dealer kept the vehicle for evaluation. The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.

I have a 2015 chevy silverado 1500 4x4 with 5000 miles. While driving to work ( less then 2 miles) my service 4wd system warning came up. The truck is stuck in 4wd can not switch it out. Also while stuck in 4wd turning is very difficult. Called dealership they told me it was safe to drive it in. While on my way to the dealership still stuck in 4wd my check engine and traction control lights came on. The truck started to shack and shifting at random and the rpm were all over up and down. I got to the dealership and checked in they took it for a test drive while i waited. After waiting 4 hours they tell me the engine has issues they don't know what or why and that it will be a few days before they will know anything. So that waiting game begins.

When i put the vehicle in reverse i heard a loud clunk and the "stabilitrak" warning came on and the indicator (cursor) that tells you what gear you are in disappeared. I turned the ignition off and opened the door to reset everything. I started the car again and everything was normal. Driving down the road at 40 mph the "stabilitrak" warning came on again and the gear indicator disappeared. I pulled over and turned off the ignition and opened the door. Started the engine again and everything was normal. Driving behind traffic at 20 mph the "stabilitrak" warning came on again, the gear warning indicator disappeared and the rpm's went to 3000 rpm. I immediately pulled off the road and had the vehicle towed. If the transmission had shifted to a different gear this would have been a disaster.

I am in a situation where i bought a 2015 diesel truck and two weeks later it broke down out of state in colorado while on vacation.we spent the night on the highway as the truck was in limp mode and the check engine light was on. The out of state dealer pressured us into getting their new diesel truck because they could not resolve the problem with the diesel exhaust in 9 hours we waited at the dealership stranded. The truck was 15k more than the first truck but i am upset they made us responsible for the 1800 miles on the new truck that broke down a week after buying it! the second truck also broke down a couple of days later with the same engine codes as the first truck. This is apparently a defect with this years diesel and we should not be penalized.we need help asap as we are being strong armed into the second truck as the first dealer does not want to do a buy back of the original new truck that broke down in colorado and left us stranded.the first dealer nor the second dealer did not offer us road side assistance, loaner vehicle or offer us any type of resolution while we were stuck at the dealership.i opened a gm case 5 days ago and still have not had any resolve and the second truck is still at the chevy dealer and they don't know what's wrong with it. The dealerships say its a gm issue but they represent them and also have the power to make our loan fair given the circumstances or put us in a new truck.we don't think it's fair that they roll in the negative equity of 5k in our loan as per the gm todd at freeway chevy he told me there are known issues with these diesel trucks and that i am not the first customer to experience these problems.they are still selling them though and need to take care of their customers by offering solutions instead of passing the buck. Our gm case number is please help.

Fuel leaking from engine.with 9595 miles on the engine the truck leaks fuel from the engine like crazy.vehicle is 6 months old.can't get chevy to pickup the rig because they say i need to call the fire department - the fire department tells me there is nothing they can do - been battling with chevy all day on this.its a safety hazard cabin smells like the inside of a gas tank - i don't feel save driving it anywhere.

Driving towing a travel trailer.felt a vibration.pulled over and nothing visible.resumed but engine had no power. 30 mph max speed.called onstar and they could find no codes. Tried to continue but no engine power beyond 30 mph..called onstar again and this time they identified 2 codes.dropped trailer at a church parking lot. Truck now in reduced power mode and leaking liquid.arrived at a dealer who identified problem as return fuel line had become disconnected. They reconnected and truck ran normally. Approximately 20 gallons of diesel fuel had leaked during this 8 mile ordeal.

Vehicle has stalled upon initial acceleration after a stop. 3 of 4 of the times it happened were after a right hand turn. 3 of the 4 stalls occurred when vehicle was cold (no correlation with right hand turn).

Camshaft lifter failure (collapsed / stuck), #1 cylinder after engine was idle for ~5 minutes.vehicle had 9701 miles at time of incident.this appears to be a relatively common issues with regards to the active fuel management systems on late model gm vehicles equipped with this technology.the service writer at the dealership noted that they have seen several vehicles in for service with the issue of a "collapsed" or "stuck" lifter requiring replacement.there is definitely a flaw in the design or the grade of materials being used as a lifter should not be failing at this rate with very little usage.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado 3500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, a fire started on the engine compartment that consumed the vehicle. The vehicle was destroyed. There was a police and fire department report filed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000.

While driving my 2015 chevrolet silverado 1500 ltz with a 5.3 liter motor the rpm of the engine act erratic, it will increase and decrease rpmat will, i would say that it surges about 75 to 150 rpm, it especially does this going uphill. It is unsafe to be driving a vehicle that acts in this manner because you can't control the way you want to drive, i took it back to the dealer and they are trying to convince me that this is normal, which i know it is not normal, gm needs to figure this out and correct the problem.

This is the 10th time this has happened, and 3rd time the vehicle has entered the service center.own a 2015 chevy silverado 1500 crew cab z71, and when attempting to start the vehicle, it does not turn over, indicating that there is a theft deterrent issue.the first time the dealer was unable to replicate the issue or error code.the second time several error codes were present, which the dealer reset.this appeared to fix the issue, until 1 month later the issue presented itself again.the vehicle is currently with the dealer on it's third repair attempt.this can be very unsafe for a vehicle since in an emergency need the vehicle could be incapable of being driven.

I purchased a brand new 2015 chevy silverado and in the first week i had it, while driving, the truck just simply completely shut off. Dealer claims they have never heard of this and after keeping truck for days stated could not find any issues. About one month later remotes not working and truck warning that emergency brake is on even though it was released. Could not get to register that emergency brake was off and while driving none of the turn signals were working as to truck warning to pull over due to vehicle emergency brake was on. I have only made one payment on this new vehicle and truck has already been in shop 2x .i need your help, please as dealer not helping me and i do not feel safe in this truck. I should not have to worry about it turning of or anything else as to being a brand new vehicle. I have attempted to speak with several managers and one just stated to me" that is why you have warranty and just keep eye on it." since all this i have searched on the internet, and discovered that this has happened with other silverados. . ed bozart chevrolett still claims no knowledge of this. Please help me. Ifeel this is potential accident issue. The first issued happened while driving on craig road which could have been really bad as this is a 45 mph road, luckily it was a weekend and not busy. I don't know what else to do.spending over $40,000 on this truck not expecting to feel unsafe while driving.

Purchased the 2015 silverado 1500 new on 08/04/2015. Once i was able to use the headlights i noticed the lack of light output on them. I traded in a 2011 kia sedona and the headlights were far superior to them. My 2006 hyundai has better lights. Im not sure what can be done, dealer is aware of it and hopefully will fix soon.

When driving at night on any roads the visibility with the low beams is terrible! the high beams are what the low beams should be. It is very difficult to see anything in the distance or on the shoulder.i have bought chevy vehicles for 44 years and am heading out to trade my 2015 silverado in for a dodge.it' s the safest thing i can do since chevy says there is nothing that be done to fix this problem.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. While driving at any speed, the headlights were dim and prevented the contact from seeing the road. The contact activated the high beam headlights, which were not bright enough either. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who stated that there was nothing wrong with the lights. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The failure was not remedied. The failure mileage was 700.

October 31, 2014 on my home from work i heard a bang. The truck pulled very hard to the left taking me into the concrete barrier that divides the highway. Vehicle was in motion us highway 41/45 65 mph. After the truck was investigated at the dealer to give an estimate on the damage it was discovered the left rear axel was broken. Questioning the dealer about this issue and not getting anywhere i talked to different mechanics that i know after a week or so it was discovered there was a recal for insuffcient heat treated rear axles talking to the dealer and i was told this did not pertain to my vehicle as the recall was taken care of at the factory. I cantacted chevrolet and was told that because i had given the ok for the dealer to make the repairs. My insurance company would need to fole paper work against chevrolet which myself i believe is wrong . I was also told by the dealer broken axle was typical of this kind of impact. There is no damage on the side panel or rear of the truck i do have pictures on my phone which i have not downloaded to my computer.

Takata recalli was traveling down the highway at approximately 75 mph when i was accelerating over an overpass the vehicle began to vibrate with an associated humming noise and after about two seconds after theach vibration started a very loud and violent banging sound came from under the vehicle that was felt from the inside. I immediately steered to the highway shoulder, because i could see metal chunks tumbling from behind the vehicle from my rear view mirror. Once i was on the shoulder i looked under the truck to see the drive shaft had come apart from the transmission with the u-joint still connected on the transmission side. The drive shaft was mangled on the transmission side, and the exhaust was crushed with holes in it. The tool road authority stopped to render aid and kindly towed my vehicle off the tool road to the nearest gas station. Images were taken of the damage, but we're to big in size to upload.

Has a vibration at 65, turns into a bad shake at 75.

I purchased a new 2015 chevy silverado 2500hd duramax crew cab lt from auto nation of pembroke pines florida and at about a week or two of driving it i started to notice a bump/clunk from the rear of the truck just as i would come to a complete stop. It also does it just apon a strong acceleration. The vehicle had about 500 miles on it when i started to notice this. I brought the vehicle in for the first oil change at about 4k miles and told the service guy what was going on. He said they would test drive it. When i picked it up he said they could find anything wrong. I think it's the slip yoke sticking and needs to be lubricated or replaced. Some of the older truck had this issue.

Had been complaining since 2 days after purchase that transmission was shaking/shimmying/sputtering. Was pulling onto a county highway off of a residential type road (after picking up granddaughter from school - she was in truck) and truck bogged down & wouldn't go. Intersection is at top of hill and around a corner. Was clear when i started pulling out, but was almost hit by oncoming truck before i got my truck to get on across the intersection. Has been in shop twice to fix it. First time to double transmission flush. That didn't work. Next time a few weeks later, a technician hooked up a computer to my truck so he could manually shift gears while riding with me. He felt the issues and said he saw several problems. Dealership ended up replacing torque converter. Also replaced vlom manifold - whatever that is? that's what it says on work order. The problem still exists. I believe there are bulletins out on this truck's transmission already. I have talked to others who have had the same problem.

Transmission cannot find gears when coasting or slowing down and then hitting accelerator. Very dangerous when it hesitates for seconds before finding the right gear and going, or it stays in too high of a gear instead of downshifting to accelerate and rattles. Happens every time i drive the truck, and many other people have the same issue. Gm doesn't care!

While traveling with the radio on, the radio volume went off. Other radio information on the video screen appeared normal. Onstar volume was also off. Also when seat belts were disconnected while driving there was no audible signal.after stopping and restarting the vehicle everything was normal.

The trucks have a vibration that is felt in the steering wheel, floor, seats, accelerator and brake pedals etc. While driving. The major consensus it that the worst speed it 76 mph, yet it is felt to a lesser degree at any speeds, with some being worse than others. There are a large number of trucks with this issue, yet general motors refuses to do anything about it. It began within a couple weeks of purchasing my truck. I found people first reporting the issue in 2015, and more recently it continues with the 2015 and 2016 model years.

I bought a 2015 chevy silverado 1500 wt black out edition on 12/1/2015. Within a few weeks of driving truck and about 1000 miles on truck drivers seat has a major squeak and feels not sturdy. After many trips to dealer and replacing several parts, drivers seat remains same as of to date. At this point dealer says there are no issues reported on any other 2015 trucks in the us. Truck seat is unbearable to drive and could be a safety hazard. Truck currently has 4500 miles

The rear headrest of the crew cab are to small and do not raise up high enough to protect the head of anyone in the rear seat.there is also no center head rest for the rear seat.this is very dangerous and i wish i had realized before i purchased the truck.this is a major safety concern that needs to be addressed asap.at least offer us the option to purchase larger headrest for the rear seat.

Center console beverage holders, have two holes on hard plastic.these holes drain spill liquid from beverages to go inside console and causing mold grow and bad smell. Also causes that usb ports on console to short out and burn. These problem gets worst when owner lifts center console to seat a 3rd person in front of vehicle causing accumulated liquid to spill to back of console, where is impossible to clean. Without taking console apart.

Takata recalli got a recall notice and tried to make an appointment at the dealership i bought the vehicle.no appointments were allowed.you arrive at eight am and it will take a least 4 hours to do.the letter stated 40 minutes or less.i cannot take a whole day off of work to do this so i guess my life is in jeopardy.

I was driving downhill for aproximately 30 minutes towing a boat. My family was in the truck total of five passangers. Suddenly i noticed a smell of something burning. I drove fro approximately five more minutes the i noticed the break pedal was going all the way in, therefore i pulled over on the side of the road. That is when i saw smoke coming out of the left front tire brakes.

Abs activates at slow speeds creating an inability to stop properly.

On october 24, 2015 while following my wife home on hwy 182 between west pasco and richland my truck experience what felt like a tire blowout on the right rear wheel.i was traveling the speed limit at 70 mph.the road was level and flat with no debris on the road.i proceeded to change out my tire with the spare, thinking that the tire had a large bolt or nail in it.to my surprise, the tire was intact with no sign of damage.the factory rim had failed.here are the facts of the situation:'2015 chevrolet silverado lt z71 with 12,366 miles'smooth highway surface on a clear day traveling straight at 70 mph with no debris on the road'not hauling or towing'single occupant in vehicle'the tire is intact (not damaged at all)'no damage to the right front wheel or tire or any other part of the vehicle'severe damage to the right rear rim'rim impacted the brake system hard enough to bend parts and cause leaking of brake fluid

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. While driving 25 mph, the steering wheel shook violently and the brake pedal vibrated. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. The contact stated while driving at 45 mph, he would have to increase the braking distance when depressing the brake pedal. The contact also stated that he would have to depress the brake pedal harder when driving at 45 mph as the vehicle failed to stop or slow down in a timely manner. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with a power brake assist vacuum needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was relating the failure to nhtsa campaign number: 19v645000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. The contact stated that the steering wheel failed. The steering wheel locked when driving at low speeds, the steering wheel also locked when attempting to park the vehicle. The contact stated that there was no warning light before during or after the failure. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to have a diagnostic performed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.

The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, the interior of the vehicle vibrated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer multiple times. The technician was unable to diagnose or repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 200.

While driving at high way speed ( 70 mph posted limit ) and making a right hand long sweeping turn the trucks steering would stick or lock in the turn position. This condition would require a me to force the steering wheel back to center. At this time the condition only presents its self during highway speeds and long gradual right hand turns. This happend 6 or 8 times on my 800 miles trip. The dealer can not replicate this issue and as a result will not agree to repalce any steering components at this time. A quick internet search indicates many others have this same steering issue with their 2015 silverados with eps steering and their dealers are alos unable to repair the problem. If this was an issue at parking lot speed i may not even care but at 70mph then it happens it gets your attentionvery fast. I called chevrolet customer service and they claim no report of such an issue. As a result i wanted to at least report the issue so it is a matter of record.

After parking and removing key steering wheel disconnects from front wheels , makes a rattling noise as if some metallic part is loose and then then jams, making it difficult to rotate ignition key to start truck again. Other times power steering assist is lost and truck is difficult to steer.

My dog was lacerated via the rear bottom corner of the driver's side door when he ran by it.not quite sure why the design would come to such a point.a trip to the emergency vet, staples, antibiotics, and $$$ later he is now at home recovering.

I had bob hook chevrolet install running boards incorrectly and went another dealer to be told they are incorrectly installed damaging vehicle and missing parts.

Has a vibration at 65, turns into a bad shake at 75.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. While driving at high speeds, the vehicle shook and vibrated extensively in the front. Upon turning the vehicle off and restarting the vehicle, there was less shaking, but the strong vibration continued. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the bed cover was aftermarket and the wind was causing the strong vibration and shaking to occur. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure continued. The vin was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.

My name is [xxx] and i am the owner of the 2015 chevrolet silverado lt that i leased on january 31, 2015 from huntington chevrolet located at 370 oakwood rd, huntington station, ny 11746 (877) 415-8697. I noticed in march when the weather started getting warmer that the air conditioning was not working properly. I brought the vehicle into new rochelle chevrolet located at 291 main st, new rochelle, ny 10801 (914) 730-9960 to have the a/c serviced, and it was discovered there was no freon. After having the freon put into the a/c system i noticed very strong fumes coming into the cabin. The vehicle was brought back into new rochelle chevrolet twice to have the problem solved. I have the appropriate paperwork to validate the service. The 2 services at new rochelle did not fix the problem. The smell is unbearable and possibly toxic, and still coming into the cabin as of today. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

When driving a message on my information center pops up which states that taking my eyes off the road can cause a accident, ect. This makes me take my eyes off the road to see it and again to delete it.so this is a hazzard. Gm said there is nothing in the owners manual about it , and engineering thinks that it happens when i touch a button on the insturment panel when driving. But it happensto appear when im driving on the highway and have not touched any control button. , this is a serious distraction. Since i cannot duplicate it because it happens at random, when it does occur again i will take a picture of it. The message will not cancel on its own and blockes everything on the message center until i manually shut it off

I purchased a brand new 2015 silveradeo on 7/24/15 and at about 700 miles or so i noticed a bad vibration as the truck was in motion, took it back to the dealer cause i was very upset it being an $56,000.00 truck and all. They wanted me to leave the truck overnight and did not offer any vehicle to drive so i did not leave it with them. So i took the truck to ratfield tire and had the tire's balanced, all 4 tire's were out of balance, which i paid for out of pocket myself not gm.... This didnot fix the problem of the severe vibration going down the road. I then took the truck to another dealer for the vibration, they test drove it and confirmed the vibration, did a road force balance on all 4 wheels, then replaced all tire's, this also has not fixed the problem, the truck is still vibrating, the entire seatjust shakes, i am presently waiting on another appointment with dealer. The service manager told me himself after replacing all 4 tire's that it felt like a balance issue inside the motor which there is no fix, now that is crazy...i fell that this truck should be replaced or my money back entirely.the truck only has a little over 2000 miles cause it makes me sick to drive it....

When driving 68mph or above the whole inside of the vehicle vibrates like a wheel is out of balance. I was told by a chevy dealer that the drive shaft is wobbling & that's causing the vibration. And gm says it's normal.
