Tires were recalled, previously exchanged, dot scratched off, and put back on a pick-up truck i recently purchased from a private owner(no help there by the way). I went to a local firestone dealer and john at los amigos tires in manteca, ca said "that since the dot was already scratched off that the tires had to have already been sent back to firestone and snuck out the back door, instead off being destroyed as by law, and onto this truck. He also stated that "he could not and would not be able to help me. I contacted firestone directly and spoke with there support technician "shawn". He told me firestone/bridgestone wouldn't and couldn't help me either. I then told him that i would contact the better business bureau. He stated that " that was not necessary, but that he still couldn't do anything for me. I contacted the previously mentioned business and nhtsa.
